Chapter one of Return of the Huntsclan « Thread Started on Feb 18, 2007, 2:02pm »
Hi,
I know it's short for a first chapter but, here goes!
Warning: There are a few lines, or quotes that characters say that they said from the show.
The Return of The Huntsclan
Chapter 1
The Market
“Yes! Yes! Yes! We found a genie!!!” Yelled Jake. He was in Gramps shop. He and Fu-dog were talking about how to get a wish. Jake wanted Rose to remember him, and what they’d been through together, so that they could be together without worrying about the huntsclan finding them. Rose was in Hong-Kong. “Wow, kid, calm down. All we need to do is find the genie, and Kazaam! You and Rose get the va-va-va-voom you wanted!” Said Fu, not noticing that Jake was to happy to listen to him. “JAKE! What’s this I hear about a genie?” Came a loud booming voice from the store room. But, oddly, there was no ‘personal gain' speech afterwards. Then came a voice like an alien’s, “Gramps...must…go…home…” Then Jake and Fu heard the crash of a pile of DVD players. “Oouuucchhhh…” Came the voice again. Jake and Fu thought nothing of it, and carried on looking for the genie. Gramps was just watching E.T., and his jokes never worked. He was too old.
Jake flew out over central park, turned to human form, and landed on one of the unicorns. It was midnight. He could not get off in time before the unicorn ran through the portal into the magical world! The portal closed behind him. He was in a market place. He could smell flesh being roasted, and avoided the ‘Lunch area, today’s special: deep fried leprechaun’. Suddenly, he saw a bottle, and asked the seller what it was. “Why, my young fellow, what a good choice you have, that… is… my… beer!” Said the seller. He and his partner laughed hysterically. Jake frowned and walked on. He had thought it was a genie, he knew they were usually associated with lamps, but he would do anything to make that wish to find Rose.
Sneak Peek at Chapter 2:
Jake was so obsessed with finding Rose, he flew down and grabbed it. "Oi! get off me lamp!" Yelled the brownie with an Irish accent, he was hanging onto the lamp. The brownie let go, and landed with a thud on a stall.

Chapter 2
The Lamp
Jake looked at the other stores as he passed them. People were selling spell books, and food. He thought he was dreaming it, but he thought he saw a lamp, like a genies, bobbing up and down moving along the path at the other side of the stalls! He turned dragon, and got a better look. He wasn't dreaming it! There, was a brownie holding onto a lamp, but struggling. Jake was so obsessed with finding Rose, he flew down and grabbed it. "Oi! get off me lamp!" Yelled the brownie with an Irish accent, he was hanging onto the lamp. The brownie let go, and landed with a thud on a stall.
Jake found another portal and had flown through it in no time. He was in Gramps shop. It was 9:00 AM. "Wo! Nice work! But your parents called: you're grounded. You've been gone all night." Said Fu. "I got thrown through a portal in central park." Jake rubbed the lamp. Nothing happened. He rubbed it again. "ALRIGHT! What do you want?!" Came a loud booming voice from the lamp...
Sneak Peak at Chapter 3:
"That was weirder than a three eyed Billy-goat in a flat bed Ford in the middle of Manhattan. " Said Fu-dog. It seemed nothing had changed. Then a car pulled up outside the window, it had blacked out windows. The back window rolled down.

Chapter 3
"Your a genie, right?" Jake said through the spout of the lamp, not expecting a greeny-blue fist squeeze out and punch him in the face. "What do you think I am, E.T?" Came the voice, "Of course I'm a genie!" Came the voice, getting nicer. "I'll give you three wishes." "I wish that Rose remembers everything we've been through." said Jake. "Ok" Said the genie, putting up one finger. "I wish she stilll lived here in New york." Said Jake. "Ok" Said the genie, putting up his second finger, "anything else?" "Nope, I think I'll save the last 'till later." Said Jake. "Okey-dokey." Said the genie, and began pointing and murmuring, and lightning shot out of his fingers, opened the window, and went so far, it cleared the horizon ny quite a feew thousand miles. He jusmped out of the window and hugged her. "I missed you so much!" He said. "Well... I missed you too... but I was only on vacation... Also, my dad's drivivng the car, he doesn't like it when boys get up close and personal." Said Rose. "Oh, sorry," Said Jake, the genie behind him dissapeared. Fu's mouth was pretty much on the ground. "Yeah, you better, be. Now get in the car, I'm dropping you two off at the purple lobster!" Laughed Rose's dad. Jake got n the car and they drove off.

"So, we meet again you disgusting back of filth and scales. ready to be slayed?" Said the huntsman, who appeared to have gotten a new hat. "The only thing thats about to be slayed I see is YOU!" Yelled Jake, kicking the huntsman in the stomach.

Chapter 4
Return of the Huntsclan
Jake was going down the halfpipe, Rose was sat on the bench cheering him on. On the way to the skate park, he saw that Rose's dad knew about Jake being a dragon. And, it turns out, Rose's dad had the same mark of the huntsclan as Rose, but, surprisingly, he was never taken by the huntsman. Jake was in the air above the halfpipe, just about to pull off a 360 flip, when a green laser shot past him, and missed him by a few centimeters!
Jake dropped down, and landed with a thud on the bottom of the halfpipe. Jake said, "Dragon up yo!" putting up a fist. He threw a fireball at the bearer of this green laser. And, out of the smoke... walked the huntsman! "You thought I was in the vortex, did you?" Asked the huntsman, with the whole of the rest of the huntsclan, thousands of them, covering the whole area, appearing out of the smoke. "You got that right!" Yeled Jake as he knocked the huntsman onto his back.
The huntsman was ready for this, and grabbed jakes tail, and showered him with a potion that would temporarily render him as a dragon, but as powerless as a human. The huntsman turned on Rose and her dad, leaving a squad of huntsclan to guard Jake. Jake hit them with his tail, it didn't have much of an affect, but enough to surprise them to give him time to fly out of their grasp.
"Rose move!" yelled Jake, he knocked her and her dad out of the way, and blocked the huntsman from them. "So, we meet again you disgusting back of filth and scales. ready to be slayed?" Said the huntsman, who appeared to have gotten a new hat. "The only thing thats about to be slayed I see is YOU!" Yelled Jake, kicking the huntsman in the stomach...

"Any last words then, dragon?" Said the huntsman, laughing slightly. "Well, considering the occasion, I guess I only have two." Said Jake, sticking up two fingers. The huntsman frowned, Jake turned into dragon form. "Let's dance!" Said Jake, with all the dragons of the world appearing behind him...
