Chapter 19: The Final Ending
After a long stare-down, Adlez finally walked over with his arms crossed and a smirk.
“You sure are fancy.” He told Shade, eying his new robes. Flo laughed at this and Shade just smiled. He turned the direction of the border of twilight that kept the war within.
“We have to back there and finish this war.” immediately said Shade. He was able to let out a sigh, however, “But I can’t risk killing them. If I die, they will as well. I just don’t know what to do.”
“Wait, Shade. I can give you some options.” a voice muttered. The three of them turned to the figure and saw the Dragon King, all normal.
“Councilor, you aren’t a Twili anymore…” Florence noticed, slightly forgetting the fact that since the magical creature spirit isn’t forced into Twili would have that effect. The King Councilor just nodded in response.
“As options go… I’m not following. And how did you get here after getting Spud and Trixie out of the twilight?” Shade slowly said, wondering on how the King could help him be relieved of this throne on magical creatures. The King just closed his eyes for a moment, taking a moment to breathe in fresh air.
“Well I was captured into the castle when I was exploring. Huntsdad’s Twili goons locked me up before you guys defeated Zant. I was able to escape when I felt the power of Huntsdad escape Adlez’s body and he regained conscious. I got out right before the castle exploded and then just found you.” Councilor King explained in a long term.
“And the options you have for us?” asked Adlez curiously. King took another deep breath, showing he may have another long explanation in store for them.
“As for that. When you have been in the Spirit World long enough, you gather all of that spiritual energy, enough of an actual spirit like you, Shade. What this shows is that we can redirect each other’s energy, but be warned; for I have more POWER than you now. You will feel the rush at the moment and not control your powers, but in the end, you’ll have the most power you’ve ever had.” finally ended King with his long ‘lecture’ for Shade.
“Shall we… do it now?” Shade slowly asked, wondering about this energy redirection. Councilor King just nodded and walked in front of Shade, “So, how does it work?”
“Well we have to take each other’s hands and then feel the energy inside of you escaping through your fingertips. You think that you can do it?” Councilor King wondered, seeing Shade’s nod as a ‘yes’ response. Shade and the King took each other’s hands and began to redirect their energy. You could see the white energy shooting from their bodies.
“Wait, it looks like they’re almost done.” noted Adlez as he watched the energy flying from them slowly go away until it completely vanished. Shade ended up, holding his head as if he had a headache.
“So how do you feel?” wondered Flo after a while of letting him get his balance, even if he was floating in the air. However, he was able to shake it off and get his focus returned.
“I feel… normal.” Shade answered to their question. When he said this, his body lit up and he turned back into normal Shade. Florence and Adlez gasped, watching this amazing feat. Flo, however, was most shocked at this because she hadn’t seen Shade in this form in a very long time.
“Maybe I forgot to say… now that you’re not a spirit as I am, you can return be in your normal form when you say normal. You can access your dark side the same way, but you also have an extra power if you say ‘angelic spirit’.” Councilor King added. His body, now, was all white, showing he was now officially the spirit.
“Angelic spirit.” slowly said Shade after hearing this remark. Once in his heroic form, he made Dark Shade appear, but now Dark Shade looked just like Shade when he was still a Twili, “Take the King back to the Mirror of Spirits.” Dark Shade just nodded and used his pixilation teleportation on himself and King.
“What about us? You’re not going to be the only one on the battlefield out there.” said Adlez with a large grin on his face and his arms crossed. Shade just laughed and used ice on the feet of Florence and Adlez. Controlling the ice, he made it so that the three of them floated in the direction of the twilight. Spirit Shade was just floating in the air to get across.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Florence was thinking for a moment as they approached the twilight ahead. She held her bow and arrows, Spirit Shade was holding onto his two swords (given back by Florence), and Adlez was holding the sword used when Huntsdad possessed him.
“Hey, don’t we need a Twili to let us through?” Florence wondered, remembering that Shade needed to bring them back and forth through the Twili barrier each time. After Shade thought a moment, he decided to answer.
“We’re gonna have to just test our luck…” slowly answered Shade as he was unaware of the prediction about to come. As soon as they came across the path, Shade slowed their movement in case they couldn’t get through. Though, they all noticed something when Shade got close to the wall.
“The twilight is going away because of your luminescent body!” realized Adlez as he gasped. Shade didn’t have to worry anymore as he shot into the yellow surroundings, making it all normal as he walked by. With control of the ice, he set down his two pals who were prepared for the big battle of the war.
As for the slaves, they were all surprised that their bodies were no longer Twili a while ago. Of course, the Huntsclan had trouble keeping up with these people with controlled powers and the first to escape and become the rebellion was obviously the crew with Raffi, Ash, Kevin, Toph, and the rest.
“Isn’t that Shade up there?” asked Josh, on Raffi’s shoulder. He had his eyes squinted and his hand over his eye as if the sun was blocking his vision.
“I can’t tell, I’m blind.” Toph answered cheerfully in a joke. She was on Ash’s shoulders and looking around for Shade in the air.
“Get off of me.” Ash simply muttered at her. She just laughed loudly and then hopped off. Up in the air, Shade moved his hands around slowly and a while ‘force field’ surrounded the whole area and the twilight shot away all of Earth.
“God, I wish I could do that.” Kevin muttered, watching this feat.
“There’s the resistance!” yelled a voice from a Huntsclan scouting vehicle. The dragons of the crew turned into their dragon form while Leah, Toph, and Josh just powered up with their specialty. Kevin began to shoot darts of ice from his breath and stabbing through the Huntsclan members, sending them to the ground.
“I can to better than that with my eyes closed!” Ash taunted to Kevin, closing her eyes and turning around, getting smacked in the face by a Huntstaff on accident, “Well maybe with my eyes open…” she responded, hiccupping on a bunch of Huntsclan members and passing out.
“At least I won’t pass out.” murmured Raffi as she rolled her eyes and clasped her hands together, “For Joe.” she ended up letting out in a whisper. The moonlight gave her power and sent a light blast through a row of Huntsclan members. This let her swipe them with her tail when she flew over them because the moonlight stunned them for a moment and had them stay there for a while until Raffi knocked them down.
“The final dragon gets the best attack, huh?” Ben suggested in a laugh. He breathed a fireball into his right hand and aimed at a row of Huntsclan who were running at him. As if the fireball was a baseball, Ben tossed the attack which made all the Huntsclan members fall over and catch their robes on fire, “Just like dominos!” The four dragons huddled up when a large amount of armies surrounded them.
“Quad dragon squad, go!” the four dragons yelled out. This stopped the Huntsclan in their tracks, but they didn’t retreat.
“Next time, I pick the name.” Ben lipped to the other three.
“Well it sounded cool at the time…” Kevin muttered in response. Ash clapped her hands and the alchemy made a giant wall of earth around them. The Huntsclan tried to attack it with lasers, but it was a futile attempt. Kevin was next and touched the walls, making many, many icy cannons appear. Raffi and Ben then worked together to shoot fireballs from the cannons. The ice was so powerful that the fire was unable to melt the icy cannons. Many of the Huntsclan members were knocked down from this powerful attack.
“I think the non magical creatures get a say in this!” demanded the witch, Leah. Toph and Josh simply nodded, and instead of waiting for each individual attack, they decided to go for a group attack straight on.
“Thunderstorm!” they all yelled. Toph used earth to send them on a tower of rock very high. Josh used his wind powers to send gusts of wind flying and sending large blasts and flows of air all over. Leah, most likely being the most important, used her magic to change the clouds and weather to make it a huge downpour of rain and shocks of thunder. Aiding in the attacks, Toph used her powers to send rocks everywhere. Josh’s wind powers helped carry the he boulders to smack into thousands of Huntsclan members, trying to attack them.

“Oh, oh, where are my pretties…?” sang the voice of Sapphire. Adlez was watching this act and ran up to her. Sapphire opened her eyes and gave Adlez a devious look of evil, turning into her pink dragon form.
“Looking for a battle?” Adlez asked this scary-looking girl. She just laughed slowly and closed her eyes. After a long laugh, she opened them again to say something.
“Are you sure you want to battle someone who’s… beeeaauuutiiifuuullllll?” Saph asked in the creepiest mode ever. Adlez eyed her with the strangest response because he seemed scared of her as well.
“Bring it then!” challenged Adlez simply. Saph started the attack by putting on spiky armor and encasing herself in it, making her invulnerable. But of course, since she needed a few times to breathe, her weak spots were when she opened up her armor mask for a moment and before they are closed.
“Aren’t you just terrible then?” taunted the scary-sounding girl. Adlez just watched her with fright as she had pink fireballs shooting all around her to attack the king of Hunts. Of course, even if Adlez was to say he was the Huntsking, no one would believe him because he would be fighting WITH the traitor, Florence.
“Are you like, insane!?” Adlez screeched with shock. Sapphire opened up her air hatch and looked at him with a happy/scary face while Adlez just watched with worry from this comment’s response.
“You don’t know how tired I am of hearing that!” Saph answered in the scariest way ever. Her head plate quickly shut and she began to attack Adlez again with her pink fire attacks that surrounded her silver body.
“Oh, Lord…” Adlez moaned out of being scared. He jumped over the fire and noticed that Saph opened her breathing hatch. He saw this moment and slashed at her face. After the attack landed, she shot the hatch closed after he landed two attacks on her uncovered face.
“Oh, oh, oh! I am not that easy to kill! Or at least even HARM me!” tormented Saph evilly. Every time that Sapphire would do that insane laugh or sing like a maniac, he’d just stare at her for a moment or two before trying to fight his way through pink fire again.
“I can’t wait until you are dead…” Adlez groaned slowly, glaring at Saph, whose mouth patch shot open and she attacked Adlez with pink fire breath. The king blocked it with his sword and then slashed another two times at Saph’s face. Without a word, Saph’s embers surrounding her went away and some of her armor shot off of her and turned into many razor blades that spiraled all around her and Adlez. Sapphire just bounded around the whole area, trying to crush Adlez.
“Why don’t you try to defeat this ability? Oh, oh, my pretties…” Sapphire sang before attacking to Adlez. After a few seconds of bouncing around, the armor around Sapphire would automatically come off for a moment so she could get some space and then cover her again for protection.
“I’ll try, but I do see an obvious flaw I can use to kill you with.” said the jumping and ducking Adlez king, trying to avoid or just attack the spikes away from him. A large spike came his way when he saw Saph open her shell of armor. The king slashed the spikes at Sapphire and she just gulped loudly before all of the spikes stabbed into her. After this, the spikes and her armor vanished, only she was left. Sapphire was lying on the ground, bleeding with death, twitching back and forth, and looking terrible.
“I’m dying… but as I die I still am…” slowly moaned Saph as she looked at Adlez with her face completely gray with age and dead,
“BEEEAAAAAUUUTTTTIIIFFUUUUULLLLLL……….!!!”

Florence wandered the battlefield, all of the Huntsclan members trying to get past her when they knew of her power. But one lone member stood alone, staring at her.
“Huntslass…” the member said slowly in a creepy voice. It was obviously familiar, being Huntsdeath. Seeing him made Florence grin widely, happy to see him and tell him about what she did to Huntsdad, Huntsdeath’s master.
“You remember Huntsdad… yes? Went to the city to do some business. But while I was there…” began Flo, giving a very evil grin and beginning her scary response, “I killed him.” Huntsdeath gave her a scary glare, showing he didn’t believe her.
“Even if you did, I’ll just avenge him and kill you now!” Huntsdeath responded, pulling out his interesting Huntstaff and leaving his other weapons in their cases.
“By the way, where is little Aruella?” Florence asked with a small laugh, remembering when she ran off at the Huntscity Castle and aiming her bow to Huntsdeath’s head in case he would attack her.
“She fled. She believed that your little boyfriend would make it with his humanity and then destroy us. Oh, for once Aruella was wrong, because he seems to be doing nothing up there.” Huntsdeath taunted and gave Flo an evil look. She growled a little and then tossed an arrow at him through her bow. He just smacked it off with his Huntstaff and then shot a green laser at Florence.
“Too slow!” she yelled, making a limbo bend to avoid it and then pull out a bomb. After Flo lit it, the bomb was thrown at Huntsdeath. He pulled out a dagger from one o his cases and used the dull edge of it to send the bomb in the air. Little did Huntsdeath know was that the bomb would just shoot into the air and then fall back down on him.
“Geez…” coughed Huntsdeath when the bomb smacked on him and blew up. The cough was smog from the explosion and right after, he continued with the fighting.
“Afraid of a little bomb?” asked Florence with a joke, getting jabbed in the arm by the Huntstaff in Huntsdeath’s arms.
“Of course not, but it seems the big battle is soon to begin, so I think I’ll take my leave…” Huntsdeath explained, pulling out a small box and tossing it to the ground. It made smoke so that he could make his sly escape. Flo simply ignored it and then looked up at Shade until she heard a fumbling from behind her…
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
In his figured cloak, the Dark Dragon was flying in the air. He made a few hand signals as thousands of Lai Di members came out from the ground.
“We can’t take on an army that big!” Kevin exclaimed, seeing the Lai Di just standing there and staring up at Shade who was looking down at them as well, waiting for their attack.
“Lai Di, attack!” the Dark Dragon commanded. The soldiers stood their ground, and at the same time, launched an attack of spiritual energy toward Shade. In the air, the spirit closed his eyes and opened his mouth to speak.
“Angelic Voice!” he yelled. When he opened his eyes, energy shot out of his mouth like a shockwave of noise (which it was) and when it encased the attack shot by the Lai Di, both the voice shockwave and the spirit beam that the Lai Di shot went away. The Dark Dragon glared at Shade for a moment before saying another thing.
“Attack agai-” tried to bark D.D., but he was cut off when Shade already was powering up and glowing white.
“Ultimate Destruction!” Shade called out, putting his arms out in front of him and then swayed them up and then down, as if he was bowing with only his arms. Said attack made hundreds of large, spiritual beams shoot from the air and attacking Lai Di or Huntsclan members, ending in only the Dark Dragon and all the good guys as survivors. The dragon dropped his cloak and watched Shade as he floated down on the land.
“Why don’t we settle this with a one-on-one duel?” the Dark Dragon suggested with a chuckle or two.
“Why not,
Long Feng.” answered Shade with a grin. Their surrounding was a middle-sized island on the middle of a huge lake with the moon directly above them. No wind was blowing and not a cloud was in the sky. The Dark Dragon’s first attack was sending a large spiral of black flames at Shade, but he counted by raising his arms slowly, making a huge tsunami-like wave rise behind him. After he floated over it, he controlled the wave to swish through the island and douse the black flames, not to mention damage the Dark Dragon well.
“I didn’t expect you to be this powerful… after I was able to capture you the first time we met…” mumbled the D.D. as he wiped off water from his face and flying into the air. He began to breathe fire all over the area, mainly in Shade’s direction.
“Oh, right after that event, I promised I would become stronger than you… and that day has come.” Shade told him, floating backwards and lifting his arms up slowly, as if he was struggling with lifting a heavy box. After, all of the water in the lake shot at the Dark Dragon, shaped like serpent dragons and when they collided with him, Shade controlled the water to freeze.
“It’s not going to end like this…” threatened the Dark Dragon, glaring at Shade angrily. Without answer, Shade shot his arms over his head and slowly created a large sphere of light energy,
“There’s one more thing…”“Spirit Bomb!” Shade yelled, tossing the attack at the Dark Dragon, who had his eyes closed and used his energy to teleport his energy with Huntsdeath’s, letting him escape, but leaving Huntsdeath in the position of him. Of course, Shade couldn’t see because his attack was in the way once the attack completely obliterated Huntsdeath and the ice keeping him stuck in place in the air.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Shade ended up floating away back to all of his friends and slowly transformed back to normal, saying ‘normal’ in his head to change.
“Oh Shade… I’ve been waiting so long to see you like this…” muttered Florence, breaking down into tears and embracing Shade tightly. Shade just took her into his arms and stroked her hair and back, showing that everything would be ok. After this she walked off and wiped her tears away.
“Shade… man, I am so glad you are ok.” Kevin said slowly and sympathetically. He held his arm out for a high five and then embraced in a friendly hug. Once he stepped off, Raffi and Ash walked ahead.
“I’m just glad you’re ok.” Ash was able to muster up after a few moments of silence.
“I just wish that Joe was… so that he…” mustered in response Raffi as you could see her shed a tear. They both went to hug Shade and he began to pat them on the back to reassure them. They stepped off when Shade’s elf friends hopped up to his shoulders.
“Great to see my best pal here safe.” simply said Josh, hugging his neck a little. Toph didn’t say anything but quickly gave Shade a hug and then hopped off. Leah and Ben sped over and didn’t have anything to say, so they just embraced in a small hug circle. After said hug, Shade looked around the destroyed area.
“We’d… better head home. Make sure everyone at home is safe.” Shade suggested as Dark Shade appeared next to them all. Without another word, Dark Shade closed his eyes and everyone warped away in their final pixels of the war.

Yes, I got Spirit Bomb from DBZ, I didn’t have another name for it, ok? Ok, please leave a… longish comment, if you don’t mind. XD It’s kinda long, I guess, but it’s probably the most important chapter out of it. So read and review! Epilogue is on its way.
