There is a troll that keeps joining on this forum, we have nick named her "Megan", as she is originally known as.
Be wide and alert on her! Hide your AIM, and email addresses, because she uses this against you, and trust me, she will spam it, and be decisive!
This is not only a troll alert post, but a warning that you, the members here, need to be more careful.. "Megan" is the one who will try and hack into your account, she will be decisive, she is INSANE. For all we know, she could be mentally insane, worse than we can imagine, because she seems to come here 24/7, not a minute wasted.
So yes, your IPs will be watched, and don't worry, if you're not "Megan", you got nothing to worry about. I am a network security specialist luckily, and will be on the lookout for "Megan". But, please, PLEASE, hide your AIM, MSN, email, etc, and only give it out to those you TRUST. We care about your privacy, so we want to make sure know one suffers from "Megan"s decisive trolling..
Ways to tell if it is Megan:
1. She uses "pathetic" a lot in her posts.
2. She calls peoples names, like she is a kindergartner. For example, I got a PM from her, where she called me a "cow".
3. She tries to put others down.
4. Her posts are almost always hypocritical.
Also, if you think you see Megan around, please PM me the member, and I will check out the IP. If it is Megan, proper action will be taken against her, and another email will be sent to her ISP.
(Her IP changes because she uses dial-up, so we can't ban IPs, otherwise we may accidentally ban an innocent member.)
Last thing too, she will try and ask personal information from you, she will use this against you later on, so be careful what you say.
Steps to take when caught by the "Megan-Syndrome".
1. Create a new AIM, MSN, and/or email account.
2. Don't tell ANYONE about this account, except close friends you REALLY trust.
3. Abandon the old account(s).
UPDATE: It has come to my attention, that Megan isn't alone. She has a tag-team who act just as she does, but the IP's belong to totally different ISP's (though similar networks, they are different.)
