Ok, first read my other story Onisiba: Legend of the Three Ultimate Swords first. Basically, Hero sets off on a journey to slay his parents' murderer. He meets alot of friends and yeah. That's the summary.
Chapter 1: Departure
When they arrived, Yuin greeted them. All one thousand dragons exited Yuin’s base and stood next to him.
He looked at everyone and said, “I’m sorry to say this, but everyone is going to have to split up.”
Hero looked at Yuin surprised and asked, “Why?”
“If you do split up, you can cover more ground. There are eight islands. Hero, I want you to find Xjjirii. He is the greatest dragon master alive. He can teach you new skills and train you to fight better. Drake, I want you to investigate the island of Sayar. Sarah, go to Aaqcina Island; Rei, go to Crescent Island; Yui, go to Atlas Island; Hunter, go to Kailia Island and Zenos, go to Lacaio Island. Zenos, this will be your first act to prove your loyalty to us. You will free the captive dragons there in the Huntsclan’s base. Now, you all know your destinations, so rest up because you need to be fit for the long journey ahead of you. You will leave at sunrise tomorrow.” Yuin explained.
Fred walked up to him and asked, “Yeah, but what about us, mate? What can we do?”
Yuin turned around and looked at the dragons behind him and said, “Hmmm… go back to your towns. Rebuild and live normally.”
Then, Jake walked over and said, “T-That’s not fair! We want the action too! You dragged us into this!”
“Fine, Jake and Fred, you can stay here with me. As for the rest of you, go back to your towns and forget this ever happened. We’ve got this under control.”
Then, the citizens transformed and flew to their towns.
Hero’s friends walked into the base and Yuin turned to Hero.
“Xjjirii is on Kailia. Don’t be seen by Hunter, your job is not to fellowship. You will leave a little bit before sunrise, so avoid any encounters with your friends. It will be hard for you to leave them if you see them.”
Hero nodded and followed his friends into the base. Before sunrise, Hero woke up and looked at his friends standing next to him.
“Goodbye, I hope we’ll see each other again.” He whispered.
“We will, trust us.” Hero’s friends said.
“What are you guys doing?”
“Well… we kinda overheard your conversation with Yuin.” Drake said.
“Yeah, we will see each other again.” Sarah added.
“I’ll be near you, so you can always see me.” Hunter said.
“Yuin gave all of us com-links, so I’ll keep in touch.” Yui added.
“Exactly, I’ll be here with Yuin, so I’ll be pretty bored. I’ll be sure to call you!” Rei said.
Zenos looked over at all of them and thought, “It’s a good thing Yuin’s not sleeping in this room, otherwise we’d be dead.”
In the room down the hallway, Yuin, Jake and Fred were sleeping.
Jake stayed up all night thinking about Hero’s group and how he can fit in.
“Hmmm… where’s my place in this team? Where’s the action in staying behind?!” Jake whispered.
“No worries, we‘ll have our part, mate.” Fred answered.
Jake turned his head so it was facing the bottom of the top of the bunk bed.
Then, his mind clicked and he questioned, “Fred?! Are you… did you hear that?”
“No worries, it’s a-ok mate. I was thinking the same. Like I said, we’ll have our parts.”
“Yeah, thanks. I owe you one.”
“Nah, no problem.” Fred replied.
Then, they both dozed off unaware of Hero standing near the slightly creaked open door overhearing their conversation.
“Yeah, I’m sure they will. After all, they are apart of the team.” Hero thought.
He left the base and froze outside after hearing his friends yell goodbye.
“Good thing Yuin’s a heavy sleeper.” he thought.
He turned around and smiled.
Then, he transformed and flew towards the island of Kailia.
When Hero reached the small island, he landed on the beach.
Sick and sore from flying, he decided to walk to the only town, Macconia.
“Man, I must be the only dragon who gets sick of and hates flying!” he thought.
Then, he transformed into his human form and walked down the only road.
After an hour, he reached the town of Macconia. The town was very lively. Many shops and stands dotted the city.
As he made his way through the crowd, a green dragon with orange hair bumped into him while flying. They both smacked into each other.
Hero flew back from the impact and hit a wall. He shook his fist at the sky and shouted, “Is this what I deserve?! For always helping people?! What’s with me and walls?!?!”
The green dragon got up and walked towards Hero.
“Watch were you’re going!” he yelled arrogantly.
“What?! You bumped into me!” Hero come backed.
“Shut up! I’m on an important mission!”
“And what’s that?”
“To find Xjjirii and slay the Dark Dragon!” the dragon shouted.
“Well, I’m also searching for Xjjirii. My name’s Hero.”
“My name is Crest. Have you heard of the Dark Dragon? Have you seen him?” Crest asked.
“Yeah… I captured him. He’s being held at a prison.” Hero replied.
“CREST!!!” yelled two dragons lagging behind, who were making their way through the crowd.
When they reached Hero and Crest, they were out of breath from running hard.
“Oh… these are my friends Iari and Kaia. Iari’s the one on the left and Kaia’s the one on the right.” Crest explained.
“Why did you say his name first?!” Kaia yelled.
“Because, I’m not only smarter and stronger than you, but more important as well!” Iari explained.
“Oh yeah?! Bring it on old man!”
“That’s general old man… I-I mean general to you!” Iari yelled.
Crest pulled Hero away from the quarrel and told him, “They’re a little ticked off at each other. After all, we’ve been flying for days.”
“Ok. Hey, I have a question. Will you join my team? I’m a little low on members…”
“Sorry, but I’ve got my own team. I’m sure we can arrange something… sometime. Anyways, I must go. See you later, Hero!” Crest said.
Then, he walked over to Iari and Kaia who were fighting and dragged them away by their ears. Hero faintly heard Kaia moan in the distance, “No… not the ear… that’s my weakness… LET GO!!!” He was a little disturbed by this, but he continued searching the town for the legendary dragon master.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed Hero’s shoulder as he walked into an alley. He was unexpectedly pulled into the shadows.
Chapter 2: Colin
Hero quickly elbowed the mysterious person who grabbed him and heard an “Ow”. He turned around and saw a white and black dragon holding his stomach behind him.
“Colin?! I’m so sorry, I didn’t…”
“Ugh… un… it’s ok. I’m… ok. I just need to…”
Then, Colin passed out and fell backwards. Luckily, Hero knew this would happen, so he caught him.
An hour later, Colin woke up and muttered, “Uhhh… where am I?”
“You’re in the infirmary. You passed out because I accidentally elbowed you… oh yeah, sorry for that.” Hero explained.
“Ok, I’ll transform into my human form and-”
“STOP!!!” screamed a nurse who just entered.
“What is it?” Hero asked.
“Don’t you two know the law of injury?!”
“No, what is it?” Colin asked.
“When you are in your dragon form, your natural defense is increased. You can die if you transform before you heal. The damage is transferred from your dragon to your human form. Since your human form’s defense is greatly weaker than your dragon’s, the transfer could kill you.” explained the nurse.
Suddenly, the doors slammed open and a doctor stormed into the room.
“You idiotic nurse! He only fell unconscious! He’s not severally wounded! You‘re fired!” he shouted.
Hero got up and yelled, “Wait! Don’t fire her! She taught us an important fact!”
“Which is?” asked the doctor.
“The law of injury.” Colin calmly said.
“Oh, I see. Ok, you can stay. Don’t slack off!” the doctor angrily yelled.
He walked out of the room after saying this.
“Thank you! Thank you so much! Is there anything I can do to help you?” asked the nurse.
“Yeah, will you join my team? If you do, we’ll buy you coffee for free. Joining is fun… and easy!” Hero asked.
Colin looked at Hero and innocently said, “Uhhh…Hero? She’s a nurse… she has to stay here and do her job.”
“OH! Never mind… we’re gonna leave now. Thanks for the lesson.” Hero sadly said.
Then, Colin and Hero both got up and left the infirmary.
“WAIT!” called the nurse.
When she caught up to them, she was deeply out of breath.
“You both look strong. How would you like to become stronger? I know where a secret dragon master named Xjjirii is! He’s my cousin.”
“What?! Where is he?” Hero asked.
“He’s in a cave deep in the core of Mount Sirus. It’s about five miles north of here.” said the nurse.
“Thank you miss. We were looking for him.” Colin replied.
Then, they both flew off and headed north.
“Ummm… so Yuin, where do I go?” Drake asked.
“To Sayar, the island of fire and sand! It’s the home of the fire dragons, like you. Be careful, because there are thieves in Sarlara and a terrible army in Fayar. The people there are poor and aren’t friendly to outsiders.” Yuin replied.
“No sweat, I got this one.” Drake replied.
Then, he took off and headed for the island of Sayar.
When he got there, he landed in the town of Sarlara.
“Hmmm… this town doesn’t look suspicious… oh well. I’ll check it anyways.” he thought.
Suddenly, a kid bumped into him and continued running. When he realized what was going on, it was too late.
“Watch were you’re…. HEY! That kid stole my wallet!” he yelled.
He transformed and chased him. The kid ran into an alley with Drake in hot pursuit.
“Got you!” Drake yelled.
The kid backed up on a wall, looked up, wall jumped and landed on the roof. Drake flew up and chased him some more. The chase lasted for about an hour until the boy ran into a house on a roof. Drake busted down the old wooden door and glanced inside.
“You’ve got guts to come in here like that.” said the boy.
“You’ve got guts to steal my wallet, kid!” Drake yelled.
“And why should we be scared of you?” another boy asked.
“Because I’m Dragon-X, the most powerful dragon alive!”
“Really? Who’s Hero?” asked the main boy.
“My friend and close ally. Who are you to use his name? You are all lowly thieves!” Drake shouted.
“Well… I’m one of his allies too.” the boy said.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Isaac of the dessert bandits. Look at my crew, aren’t they great?” Isaac asked.
Drake looked at all five of the boys including Isaac. In his mind, he pictured a bunch of three year olds.
“Uhhh… where are they?” he asked.
“Not funny. All of the other members were sent to join the Fayar dragon army. Morocco, Nick, Lyle, Kyle and I are the only ones left.” replied Isaac.
“Fayar dragon army?” Drake asked.
“It is the city of Fayar’s army. Fayar is called the city of fire, because everyone there has a fiery personality. You don’t want to mess with them. They recruit boys when they reach the age of thirteen. Then, they are taken overseas to fight against the army of Atlas Island.” Nick explained.
“Dragon-X, you are my role model! Can I have your autograph?” Morocco asked.
Isaac punched him in the stomach and then asked Drake, “Will you help us save our friends?”
“Sure.” Drake replied.
“Halt! You are all under arrest!” a mysterious dragon shouted.
Suddenly, Drake heard a scream and then he was knocked out cold.
Chapter 3: Fool
“I’m ready, Yuin.” Sarah said.
“Good. Head northeast and you will find an island called Aaqcina. This is the island of the water dragons. I know you hate the water, but you have to go.” Yuin replied.
“What are you going to do to convince me?” Sarah asked.
“I heard there are a lot of cute guys there…”
“Say no more, I’ll go.” Sarah said with a grin.
Then, she eagerly ran out of the base grinning as big as you could imagine and took off flying.
“I wonder if he’s right?” Sarah thought.
When she arrived at the island, she landed in the town of Accian. She stood at the entrance and started drooling. Hundreds of boy dragons were walking around and shopping.
“I’m really gonna like this mission. How did Yuin… never mind. ” she said out loud.
A blue dragon ran into her and they both collapsed on the ground.
“Sorry, I’m in a hurry.” he said while getting up.
She looked at him.
“This is the man of my dreams.” she thought.
“I’m… uh… Sarah, what’s your name?”
“My name is Aquaris, nice to meet you. Dang… I forgot what I was going to do.”
“Oh well, it happens to all of us. What town is this, I’m lost.” she asked.
“This is Accian; if you head north west, you will reach Aas and if you head directly north, you will reach Hydris and Azure.” he replied.
“Well… um… can you come with me? I kinda was dispatched from my team, so…”
“Sure. I don’t have anything to do.” Aquaris said.
“Great! Let’s gather food and supplies for the journey. Then, I’ll tell you about my mission.” Sarah said.
“Good plan, I was thinking the same.” Aquaris said.
Then, they bought supplies and headed northeast to the town of Aas.
“So… to Atlas Island.” Yui said.
“Yes, the island of the wind dragons. I urge you to be careful. Stay away from the Atlas army and please don’t disrespect them. They aren’t afraid to kill anyone.” Yuin said.
“Don’t worry, an army… against an Iyallanos? They don’t have a chance against my Luciis!” Yui said while laughing.
“I was afraid of this… oh well. After all, no dragon can beat you. You are the second strongest Aerian alive.”
“That’s Iyallanos, not Aerian.” Yui said with a frown.
“Don’t compare me with the Aerians.”
“You currently live here on Earth, am I not correct? Technically, you are a human. Since you were born in Aeris, you are also Iyallanos. You exist in two worlds at once, same with Hero, Raiju, and I. Raiju and you are one hundred percent human and Iyallanos. Hero and I are one hundred percent Aerian and human.” Yuin said.
“Are we… gods?” Yui asked.
“No, just irregular humans with amazing powers. Let’s leave it at that.” Yuin replied.
Yuin gave Yui a document.
“This is a letter that will let you see the king himself. Present this and tell him he needs to deploy troops to search the entire island. This will make your job easier. While this happens, you can search Ician Island.”
“Judging by the name, I’m assuming it’s the land of the Ice dragons, right?” Yui asked.
“Yes. Be careful, they don’t get along with strangers.” Yuin explained.
Yui smiled and flew off.
When he arrived at the city of Imperius on Atlas Island, he headed up the road to the city’s main gates. The gates opened and Yui gasped in horror. The city was exactly like Aegis, the town he and Hero were born in!
He walked over to one of the watchmen guarding the gate and asked, “Sir, who built this town?”
“Why, only the greatest man alive, Lord Raiju!” the watchman answered.
“He drew plans and built this magnificent city forty one years ago. He appointed our king, king Atlas, when he was only eight years old! He knew Atlas was the perfect person and a genius. Not only that, but he’s good hearted. He picked the perfect king.”
“Where is the king?”
“He lives in the castle on the hilltop at the end of the road.”
“Where the Grand Council is… I understand now. Thank you.” Yui concluded.
“Hmmm… Raiju has two souls, good and evil. His good side wants to break free, but his sword makes him evil. Why did he create Exile? Was it because of the Eternal Swords War? When the guard said human, did he mean… yes! Now I understand! Raiju’s weakness… is that simple?! Wait till Hero hears this!” Yui thought.
As he walked away, the guard thought, “This guy is crazy.”
When he arrived at the castle, he showed the guard his letter and entered.
After reaching the top, he entered the doors leading to the throne room.
“Hey kingly dude! What’s up!” he said while opening the doors.
The king, his high assistant, and the general stared at him in the blankest way imaginable.
“Ummm… can I help you?” asked the king Atlas.
“Yeah kingie, I got a message for…. wait… I got it…. YOU!” Yui said like a drunkard.
He waddled over to Atlas and gave him the letter.
“Hmmm… I see. Deploying troops… is impossible now. Who gave you this letter?” asked Atlas while reading it.
“It’s mah letter! I writed it!” Yui replied like a fool.
“This letter is an act of treason! You request troops to destroy my best friend Raiju?! Absurd! Guards, take this idiot to the prison! When he awakes from his drunkenness, take him to me. I’m sure he can make a guard or something.” said Atlas.
King Atlas snapped his fingers and two guards grabbed Yui.
“Time… only time will reveal my destiny.” Yui said normally.
“No, I will decide your destiny. I am the king.”
“I want to see you try.” Yui said while being forced out of the room.
“General, I want you to keep a close eye on him. As for now, what is that murderer Blazion doing? Is he requesting a transfer?”
“Indeed sir. He requests a trade of our highest soldier for an offer that will forever change us.”
“What is that? Who is he willing to trade for my most valued Zero, the Ice dragon?” asked Atlas.
“The legendary Dragon-X, Drake.”
“What?! How did he capture him?!”
“Unknown, sire. Blazion only explained that he’s in custody.” said the general.
“It’s a plan of attack… in other words a trap! Receive Dragon-X and destroy the shipper. Fake out the situation and capture Dragon-X. If we make Drake our ally, we will win this war!” Atlas said joyfully.
“Yes, but sire, what about Hero? Isn’t he our main priority?”
“Yes, I believe he will come to us.” said Atlas.
“Sire, I believe we have another great weapon as well. That young man we captured, he wasn’t from here. Did you see that yellow sword on his back? It was huge! How can a mere human wield it? He looks strong.” asked the general.
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep a close eye on him.” said Atlas.
The general of Atlas’s army knelt before him and left the room.
Raiju entered the room and said, “The boy you captured… I want you to kill him in one day. Kill him after Drake is presented before you. The boy is a traitor and is secretly in Fayar’s army. For now, I am going to my island. Call me if you have… problems.”
“I will.” Atlas answered.
Then, he walked out of the room.
Chapter 4: Teacher
“Hmmm… Crescent Island. What do I do there?” Rei asked.
“It is the land of the light and dark dragons. All is you need to do is strengthen your light based attacks. Riin is the place to do that. I also have a feeling that you’ll find something there.” Yuin explained.
“Before I go, one question, are there any girls there? Do you think they’ll dig my sweet headband?”
“No, but have fun. There are girls there. One thing, don’t search the Delta Base, it’s destroyed. The stupid, purple lizard in the cell behind me destroyed it.”
“GRRR… insolent fool! My allies destroyed it, not me! And I’m not a lizard, I’m a dragon!” the Dark Dragon shouted.
Yuin and Rei chuckled and then Rei flew off.
When he reached the town of Riin, he gasped as he looked in the distance.
There was a huge building, which was larger than the other buildings.
“Wow… so this is the Dragon Academy. Finally, my dream of going there will come true.” he thought with awe.
He ran over there and entered the large school.
“What’s with the headband? Take it off. It makes you look like one of the inferior dragons.”
Rei turned around and saw a small kid with glasses.
“Oh… you’re just a kid.”
“Shut up! I am the son of the owner of this academy! I, Iggarus Bartholew Iccus will not tolerate such hostile actions with discriminative values.” Iggarus said.
“I’m sorry about that, my name is Rei.”
“Ok. My name is Iggarus Iccus of the great genius line of Iccus, but you can call me Iggy.”
“Sure, but there is one problem. I’m deviating from my plan. Can you lead me to the ruler of this city and island? Do you know where he is?” Rei asked.
“Yes, indeed I do. Please, follow me and I will direct you to him.” Iggy said.
Then, they both left for the city’s city hall.
“I’m ready to leave, mate. Show me the way.” Hunter said.
“Ok. Kailia is the island you have to investigate. This island has a mixture of every kind of dragon. Because no elemental dragon originally inhabited this island, almost every type lives here in harmony. Have fun.” Yuin replied.
“Ok, I’ll see you later then.”
Then he flew off to Kailia.
When he got to the small town of Macconia, he went to the inn and rented a room for four days.
“I only need four days to search the island. I don’t think Raiju is on this island, but I’ll search anyways. Who knows, I could pay Hero a visit.” Hunter thought.
As soon as he left the inn he was staying at, a gold dragon appeared before him. She wore a necklace made of the finest pearls and a simple elegant crown on her head. She also had incredible angel wings replacing her dragon wings.
“Who are you?” Hunter asked.
“I am Elle. Where is your friend Hero? I wish to speak with him.”
“He’s on this island looking for a guy named Xjjirii.”
“You’re giving me his location even though you don’t know me?”
“Yeah, you look innocent.”
“Looks can be deceiving.” Elle said.
“I’m not easily deceived.” Hunter replied.
“Thank you! You are actually correct. I am innocent. I know where to find him.” Elle said.
Then, she disappeared and Hunter walked out of the town.
After walking about five miles, he reached a mountain called Mount Sirus. He knew that Hero was here, but he decided not to disturb him. He turned around and a dragon green with orange hair bumped into him.
“Hey, watch it! Watch where you’re going!” he shouted.
“You’re a fool to get angered with me! Get outta my way!” Hunter shouted.
“What?! Watch your mouth! I’ll cut out your tongue if you make another remark!”
“Really? I was about to say the same thing. I’ve done it enough times to know how to do it.”
“You…”
“What, can’t handle the truth?” Hunter asked sockily.
“CREST!!!!! WAIT UP!!!! Slow down… we can’t run anymore.” yelled two other dragons who were lagging behind.
“You’re lucky, my friends don‘t want to see me kill you and make a mess.” Crest said.
“Have you even killed a dragon? I doubt you have.” Hunter said.
Then, Hunter walked past him.
“Wait! Have you seen a black dragon around these parts? Some people claim to have seen the Dark Dragon.” Crest asked.
“Well… my friends captured the dark dragon. My friend Hero told me about a black dragon who looks kind of like him. His name is Contrast.” Hunter replied.
“You know Hero?! He’s one of my friends! I guess that means we’re allies.”
“Yes… so it seems.”
“Oh yeah, these are my friends Iari and Kaia.” Crest said.
“Nice to meet you.” Iari said.
“CREST!!! WHY DID YOU SAY HIS NAME FIRST?! WE‘VE BEEN FRIENDS FOR TWO YEARS AND YET YOU SAY HIS NAME BEFORE MINE?! Iari and Kaia, Iari and Kaia, I‘m tired of this crap!” Kaia shouted.
Crest glared at Kaia and then he shut up.
“I‘m Crest.”
“I‘m Hunter. If you need me, just call my name.” Hunter said.
He turned around and flew towards the inn he was staying at.
“Man, he‘s cool…” Kaia said.
Crest elbowed him in the stomach and said, “Not as cool as me.”
While Hunter was flying, a white dragon with light blue hair collided with him. They both fell out of the sky and hit the ground with devastating force.
“OWWWW!!!!!!” the dragon shouted.
“Hey, watch where you’re…”
Hunter gazed up and looked into her eyes.
“Wow, she’s cool.” he thought.
“…Going? Is that what you were gonna say?” she asked.
“Ummm…yeah. My name’s Hunter.”
“My name is Lauren. Nice to meet you.” Lauren said.
Hunter helped her up and asked, “So… where are you headed? You looked like you were in a big hurry.” Hunter asked.
“Oh… I am searching for a guy named Colin, have you seen him?”
“No, but I think my friend Hero knows a dragon named Colin. What does he-”
“Great! Take me to him!” Lauren interrupted.
“Ok, follow me.” Hunter replied. Then, they both flew towards Mount Sirus.

In the room down the hallway, Yuin, Jake and Fred were sleeping.
Jake stayed up all night thinking about Hero’s group and how he can fit in.
