hey guys, i've been pretty bored lately when it comes to reading. i've just started reading "Dead Poets Society" - N.H.Kleinbaum, and so far, its fantastic.
do any of you guys have any suggestions for books? I'm into classics, realistic fiction, fiction, romance, teen-romance, ect.
im not too big on the whole fantasy books, but i will try them. (i usually get so lost in the plot, i never keep any of the places and characters straight. XD. )my mom got "Eragon", "eldest" and..what ever the hell the last book is in that series for a Christmas gift, anddd left them in my room by accident xD. im not a fan of the 758934598 page novel Trillogies, i get so confused.
i dont have much limit for difficulty, as long as its enjoyable. :]
you guys have any good books in mind?

Well, The Chronicles of Narnia is a good series... If you don't mind the religious references...

Pictures of Hollis Woods by Patricia Riely Giff is about an orphan girl who is constantly running away. Very dramatic and kind of a kid's book (even thought I was around 13 when I read it [OH MY GOD, THAT WAS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO]). Slaughter-House Five by Kurt Vonnegut sounds like a really gruesome story, but it's really very funny. It's a satire about war and death. I was laughing the whole way through (though I might just be weird...). Hope you like, and if you don't, well...sorry.

If you love Sci-Fi I can tell you that Wyst : Alastor 1716 by Jack Vance is a good game. If you love Horror books I can tell you about Crucifax by Ray Garton - and this book is really violent in more than one passage but if you like this kind of books .... -, after that I can tell you about Carrie by Stephen King, or Shining, Cujo, I , all of the same author. Read thses ones and tell me what do you think. All thses games are incredibley long. But if you love Fiction books I can give you the best I ever read : The Long Walk by Richard Backman - A.K.A. Stephen King. 100 competitors, 1 winner, for the other ones... a bullet in the head.....

You might want to try His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik. its a historical fantasy and uses real locations so you might be able to keep them straight lol. i find the series to be quite good and i heard a movie is possibly in the works, hope they don't ruin it like Eragon.

The Stookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. :] [lolll True Blood.]
It's pretty much a vampire world, but more mystery than anything. If you've seen previews for True Blood, it's the TV take of the series. One of the really cool things about this series .. Eh, I wouldn't say a cliffhanger at the end of every story. It's a full story that's ended, and the next one still has the same concept (murder, sex, vampires) but is also different than the last one.
Pretty mature reading, though. Haha.

James St. James is the greatest author in the world. He has two books out right now... Party Monster (previously published as Disco Bloodbath: A Fabulous But True Tale Of Murder In Clubland) and Freak Show.
Party Monster is the nonfiction memoirs of James St. James depicting his former friend, Michael Alig's murder of drug dealer Andre "Angel" Melendez. It's a really fascinating book, and there's also a movie out based on the book (also called Party Monster) which stars Seth Green as James St. James and Macaulay Culkin as Michael Alig. Very great movie ;D
Freak Show is a work of fiction about a gay transvestite high school student, and all the problems he faces at his new school once he moves in to his father's house in the middle of a redneck/homophobic community. It's a wonderful book, I must sayyy. :3
