What are the most violent games you ever played? The ones I think are the most violent are Prototype, Vivisector, The Punisher, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Prototype has some really really bloody scenes, people getting sliced in half and not to mention all those images in the Web of Intrigue, quite bloody. Vivisector has got some pretty damn violent moments, its a bit like Soldier of Fortune where you shoot at somebodys arm and it flies off, expect here pieces of their bodies fall of them and you can see the bones. The Punisher game for PS2, Xbox and PC is all about intorrgating the criminals with anything in the envoriment and it can lead to some pretty gruesome deaths, like getting drilled through the eyed. Thankfully they censored that by making it black and white when you overdo the intorrgating and sometimes the camera zooms in on Frank's face. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is like every other GTA game, shooting, stealing cars and killing people. But there is one part of the game where Huang, the main character of the game, has to rescue a buddy for a guy called Zu, after rescuing his friend, Zu cuts the guys heart out! X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a bit like God of War, you kill the enemies in bloody ways, and lets not forget that Wolverine can take so much damage that you can see his organs and bones when he is quite badly damaged.

Most violent ? Hmmmm, Prototype is quite violent, Dead Space too, but the award winner is Postal 2. Old game where you can burn people, slice them in half, cut their limbs off in two, explode their head with hammers, use molotovs to burn them to death. You can also piss on them, throw at them heads, use cats as silencers until their butt explodes and so on....
On Dead Space you can end up sewered in maaaaany ways but some other nPC's die in an awful way : as example when you first meed a Lurker, he appears behind a guy who prays for help. The Lurker first ails the man's hand on the glass, then the torso, and then makes his head explode and spread blood n' guts everywhere. Or when you enter in a room a girl giggles while cutting the throat off a man, looks at you in a really creepy way and also cuts her throat off.

I think the GTA series is quite the violent one, you're free killing with no cops can catch you. No wonder why the game is so rated nearly the Top 10 daily according to Gamespot. Pitiful, and yeap, I'm pretty sure those people who played the game are most likely boyz who love gunz.

Anyway, the most violent game I ever played was Call of Duty: World At War. Thats it. Other combat games I've played are not as bloody as this.

Carmageddon, It's a racing game where to win you have to kill all the other drivers in the race and run over all the pedestrians on the map to win! Though I also heard Manhunt 2 has ultra violence and it was the only game to be banned in the UK because it has 'an unhealthy focus on relentless and brutal slaying'.

I thought the GTA series are more violent. I never intend to play them as I do not want to get influenced or I may end up as a criminal who smokes, armed with a pistol & knife and then on a killing or raping spree.

i have played a lot of violent games but dead space is the top ranker, as said , yeah, your character can die in alt most all horrible and possible ways., most of the people you meet died shortly later in horrible ways too. the only way to kill enemies is to cut their limbs. and every body, corpse in the game, even dead ones, can be mutilated.
oh, and if the game isn't enough. there is an anime style dead space movie which events happen before the game. where a lot of people get killed in pain full and horrible ways too. example. a woman gets pierced in the middles by a laser knife and cut ed by half when the knife in her abdomen moves all the way up, cutting all her upper body in half, even the head. and the scene is show completely. without any type of censure

If you think that's twisted, try gorey games. And I saw several Flash movies & possibly games that contains gorey blood, pink guts or brains spewing out, etc..

^ I tried billions of these Kokusho : The Punshment Chamber \ The PC 2, HTF A.K.A. Happy Tree Friends, Uberkids, the entire Thing-Thing game serie ( buttkicking games ! My fave is the last one ! ), and I lost the count. I have over 2000 of these on my PC for over 200 MB ^^ xD

Happy Tree Friends is the most common, although I'm already used to gore & violence, but a little too much such as HTF makes me sick in the head. I even watched several Flash games which involves "How to kill your own character", but those are disturbing. My collection I got such as the "Stick Dude Killing Arena" & "Battlefield" (NOT the EA's FPS games, it's a Flash stick series) series. They may have gore & blood, but those are not too disturbing, they're ok, and it's even better when some part are funny, such as out of ammo & "Freeze sucker! *enemy shoots back with his machine gun".

Well not me, HTF is kind of too much, but stick figures are not so bad. HTF was a pure bad mistake as it did received parent complaints regarding their kids got caught into the booby traps for cute & cuddly characters but end up in violent gores.
