My dear mommy My little sis’ My loved daddy
I’m going to die! What I ask to you all, and mostly to you mommy, is to be strong. I am and I want to be for everyone who passed before me. Of course I would have lived, but what I want is that my death will be useful. I hadn’t the time to say goodbye to Rose. I said goodbye to Spud and Trixie. But for my gramps, I can’t sadly do it. I hope that all my clothes will be sent back to you all, it will be useful for Spud and I hope that he’ll be proud to wear them. To you my daddy, and so to you mommy, if I harmed you I want to excuse me for that, I say to you goodbye for the last time. Be sure that I did my best to follow the way you showed me.
A final goodbye to all my friends, to my little sister that I love so much, may she study a lot to be a grown-up woman later 15 years and a half, my life has been so short; I don’t regret anything, except leaving you all. I’m going to die with Michael, Zach. Mommy what I ask to you, and I want you to promise me that, it’s to be strong and go over your grief. I cant’ write more, I leave you all, you mommy, daddy, Rose, I love you all from my children heart. Keep courage!
Your Jake who loves you all Jake
I based this on the real letter of a frnch student who got killed as an example by the nazists in 1941. I just rewrote it ADJL-style.

You wouldn't be if it was the last wish of your best friend ?? I would certanly do it if my best friend was making it. And remember that when the original letter has been written it was WWII, so clothes were insanely expansive.
