well we can only hope that all the COD people actually attempt to think logically this time around.
i agree, Microsoft will never pull a blunder like Vista again, however i doubt that Win8 will get good market numbers unless it completely revolutionizes Windows Computing. so far form what Ive seen, i may be sticking with windows 7. (i really hate that ribbon menu so unless its easy to disable i will never have windows 8 as a primary OS)

Me too, they should already get tired for all the bugs and such, even singleplayer campaigns also still have problems like how can I forget the Revelations chapter when I'm frozen during gameplay unless change to certain resolutions in order to bypass that. And I hope more people should know and get more common sense of what Activision is doing and only nothing but money, BF3 is the next big thing! As for the ribbon menu, me too, I hate it, it's just not so user-friendly, same case when I was in Microsoft Office, just not comfortable with it so I sticked with Office 2003 with XP Compatibility settings applied. And yes, we'll only use Win8 IF only our hardwares are obsolete, just like my old case I had last year on my laptop.

sadly, the PC market for that game's tiny compared to its counsel counterparts which were far less buggy. from the looks of it though it seems that fall is becoming the gaming industry's block buster season. (like how summer is for film) and right now COD's leading the pack at being nothign more than a fall flick.
i really hope that MS doesn't try to purposefully kill of Windows 7 like it did with XP and now Vista. really would prefer for them to just update their OS's till their out of service like they did with Windows 2000.

Ahh, yes, autumn will be the time for Block Busters, great games are coming right up. Even still, when winter approaches, there comes Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm. Lol, nothing but a fall flick indeed, I'm sure by the time BF3 sky rockets the sales like we expected, I'm pretty sure existing employees of Activision maybe ready to resign and move to DICE where they find quality is more important than making money really fast. XP is so outdated already ever since Win7 is so successful like hell. It did way pass the record of preorders in Amazon over Harry Potter Deathly Hallows. So anyway, the Microsoft Office I was using was 2010, that one was a few months ago, tried to crack it but it didn't work at 100%, the Setup window keeps on popping out, particularly Excel. So I stopped using it until I go back to 2003, it still works like normal.

DICE has never been known to make stupid decisions so i really do wonder who ordered this however this isn't good either way.
also up on the bad news train all retail PC copies of the game will require EADM/Origin in order to run.
sadly that's the last straw in what it takes to kill my interest in this game. I've had to many headaches form their services all ready.

Battle Log = Achilles Heel for BF3 (just played the Beta)

Battlefield 3 is coming right up in a few more days, and so is MW3 next week. I would love to get my hands dirty on them, but unfortunately for me, reviews come first then play along. I want to see how the campaign is executed, I play the same move just like Medal of Honor 2010 did which in the end, it was ok but no point for me playing it. So I'll be waiting to see how it goes, Dice seems promising to do well with their quality but we'll see about that when the whole gaming community judges the final result.
MW3 wise, storyline may seem awesome, but I don't put my hopes up again as usual, 1 year duration is still too short and my prediction, BUGS BUGS BUGS! Just like Black Ops have it! BF3? Nearly no bugs AT ALL!! Sales wise, sure, MW3 may win a ton, but I predict more than 50% of the gamers who want their money back or regretting buying the flawed game when they should have stayed with BF3. Think of it as the Apple products, some with high anticipation buying it, but in the end, they regret buying it and should have stick with Windows Phone or Android.
Enough with my long talk, how about you? You're ready?!

historically, DICE hasn't even made a flop, even their weaker of games won tuns of awards. however im with you, im waiting this one out for reviews.
going to just mention that the BF3 beta was pretty dame buggy. i fell threw the ground enough times to make Crysis 2 look bug free. however when a match was going good it was fantastic. (ran really well too on maximum settings with tessellation, ambient oscillation, 4xAA, 16xAF, and 2xSS on textures)

BF3 seems promising, we even remember there were betrayed CoD fans bought the domain name of mw3.com , and then hack the site to redirect to Battlefield 3 when Activision could not purchase the domain site since the betrayed fans bought it first.
Of course, we know CoD is well known for their poor post-release support, and with new Black Ops DLC come out, I don't have high hopes on them since I don't know will they ever solve bug problems. Dice wise I'm not sure on their support since I wasn't into the whole BF franchise since I left after Bad Company 1's release.
But overall, reviews will be reading before we get our hands on them. Don't wanna waste money and time when the game turn out to have problems, same case for Medal of Honor when other players were not satisfied with the game. If only MoH was so epic, I could already played it.

Looks like my acquisition for BF3 is now in question or possibly not getting it at all just like I did with Medal of Honor, several big game site reviews say the campaign is short and dull, but then, there's also an interrogation tale just like they did with Black Ops. Despite I still didn't play the game, my guess is there will be fans out there saying and ranting, "DICE, I'm very disappointed with you!"
All that high anticipation we've been thirsting for are all killed!
I have some good feelings for MW3 next but I still don't bet a good positive side for it because even if their campaign is better (although I don't know if it's going to be long or short) but the problem will be as usual, BUGS!!
