I thought BF3 was already in development for quite some time, it's not in a year or something. If only they should work out on the storyline a whole lot better rather than just boasting to take down Call of Duty and then wolla, copy Black Ops' story structure and then the fans are disappointed.

considering DICE's history. it probably wasn't ever going to have a story line and then EA got all pissy about MOH flopping and got them to add one. (i could be all wrong)
well im going to play with the idea that DICE wanted a story line. if thats the case, then they were probably working on it long before Black Ops' was even announced.
i still be leave in the idea that EA pressured them to build in a story. after all when DICE did BFBC 1&2 they made a vary lovable crew and an entertaining story so this seems out of character. (sucks non the less, was hoping for utter domination)

And too bad that the storyline was already fixed and cannot change it again, or maybe it might be a ripoff, we can't tell though unless we ask the gamesite pros who review the game. After all, they know the games more than I do.
Overall, we can scrap EA though, when we're matured, we'll hate them for sure. But I fear that won't stop them since there will be younger ones who will fall for this scam. Even my favorite Command & Conquer also gets the same treatment easily, but luckily even the younger ones also know the game well except not well enough like the hardcore gamers like myself, we know Westwood but they don't.

i doubt the reviewers can tell any more than we can. its not like their gods, their just people who get payed to write their thoughts on games.
wish Ea could get some better management. what brought them to the top was by offering well polished entertaining and unique games. now their heads are only interested in money. (well ones interested in Mirrors Edge so i must say theirs at least one thats not money hungry at least)

That's what forums are for. As for EA, I'm not sure how they are doing other than their own greed, but since EA is in America, due to political problems, they're affected by the economy crisis too, so they need money in order to survive, that's my theory. Even if the economy is back to normal, I don't think they'll change their goal because as long as China is around, they'll do anything to compete against it. Even still, with all that wealth, they'll do anything instead of improving developing games, they'll buy out opposing competitions instead, looks like that sin once forgiven and now it came back.

Alright, a couple of days left so I can test out Modern Warfare 3, since we know Activision will create a new storyline for this and no other competitors will copy, so I will play the game, no matter how buggy it's going to come.
But still, I'll get to the reviews once it's all ready.

eh, i wouldn't be so sour about them being new on anything.
after all they have been using the same game with a new skin for the past 6 years?

New skin plus finding ways to take beautiful special effects and make them more-friendly on middle end computers like mine, the last time people put high end special effects, it became a processor-hog, but later toned down in future versions.
As far as MW3 goes, it's hard to tell because coding a new engine and update the graphics are never easy. Even Counter Strike Global Offensive look very FPS like those of other shooting games in terms of the graphics.
EDIT : As far as reviews go as I read Gamespot, IGN & Destructoid's, they look promising on the high ratings, but it'll be judged when it comes to crashes and normal gamers' feedbacks, will they have the same mistakes like MW2 & Black Ops did? Sure, the game may still sell with lots of sales, but let's not forget the post-purchase feedbacks, not everyone are satisfied with the game as long as it's too short in development time but as well as it's being rushed and buggy every year. So we'll see, hope we help each other out while I still download it, it's going to take another week since I have no choice but to download 13GB of files rather than half the size like I did with BF3 (SP only).

Ok, after watching the tons of MW3 walkthroughs in Youtube. All I can say it's AWESOME!! With the change of developers to Sledgehammer, the game really paid off when it comes to storylines, I watched the whole thing from Mission Start to Last, it's just like watching all 3 episodes of Lord of the Rings. A GREAT MOVIE DAY for me! Replay value I bet is going to be a lot more than BF3 to those who love the SP experience. And best of all, the series is a lot more epic than BF3, and again, the end ENDS with a bang! Bigger bang than BF3's storyline. Even in 1-year duration also can achieve that, I find it incredible, but I'm still not convinced they can still do something that outrageous in this way, it usually takes months to do the dedicated storywriting and storyboarding and then even more months on proper programming. But whatever, and I still yet to judge the game in terms on its performance, like many CoD games we had earlier since the release of MW2, bugs will tend to happen very easily and numerously, so I'll be investigating that when I finish downloading and ready to install it. I'm confident enough that my laptop will run it, not like my last one I had 2 years ago. You hear me, Clone, MW3 is super awesome. Trust me on this one, if you don't, go watch the Youtube walkthroughs done by IGN, then you know how awesome the game is in terms of the gameplay and its storyline. Hopefully it concludes the epic trilogy as well.

Sorry for the triple posting, well, guys, here's the good news.
After playing MW3, it's awesome and I was having a lot of fun. Bugs wise, NEARLY NONE! A huge improvement since Black Ops (It has fewer bugs that time compare to MW2). Sledgehammer really did a very nice job on fixing them.

your scaring me with your support of MW3. (which even video game reviewers said was nothing special) however less bugs is a definite improvement.
lastly, i wouldn't ever call the messy excuse of a story line MW 2-3 had as epic. yes it works by definition however that's far to high of an honor for the games. i will give it to its MP mode, it is entertaining but Ive played thousands of hours in games that work and play just like that. (its getting really old)

MW3 is worse than Ebola and AIDS reunited with the Black Plague from the middle ages. I played it ( nonlegit of course ) and hated it. Instead BF3 fullfilòled my expectations sky high. God i've een waiting for a game like that for years

That's ok, Italian. Well, even for me, I already got bored easily and finished the campaign as well. At least the game delivered well enough for me and I'm done. As far as multiplayer goes, I cannot comment on that. BF3 may have their weaknesses in the SP, but I'm sure you already read our previous post so I don't want to say it again to further annoy others.

BF3 was meant to be a MP game from the start and it shows. its MP is wonderful!

It's pretty clear easily as we know when other FPS might lack, it's vehicle driving!
