After I checked with asia.gamespot.com/news/6313628.html?tag=nl.e513 , apparently we got Modern Warfare 3 on our hands. What do you think? As for me, I rather still go for it since I love that series (Just Modern Warfare only, no Black Ops or WWII). And most importantly, the game will still be rushed again as it's less than 6 months from now. So I bet there will be bugs again just like Black Ops have, or unless if there are more company changes again. So what are your opinions? In a nutshell, my money is still on Battlefield 3, not only DICE is being more honest to their customers, I'm sure there would be a future beta so the testers can do testing to check for bugs which unlike Modern Warfare 2 & Black Ops did not.

I prefer drinking acid than getting MW3, as simple as that. I'll get BF3 instead.

As for me too, but of course, I'll usually read the reviews and read the walkthrough to see how things are going first, then only I'll buy. Don't wanna buy first and then regret the whole thing badly.
BF3 I'm sure will give a much proper respect to us compare to CoD when the game is not only rushed, but as well as being bugged most of the time.

I found on a french videogaming site the leaked story of MW3 and it's as crappy as MW2's one, and they announced its release in 6 months. I am already betting on overassisted gameplay, swarms of DLC's and all this cr*p.

well if they continue with the move of MW2 VS MW1 then its going to be even more stupid. (maybe quad welding shotguns?)

I also don't have high hopes for this one too, because a good game can NEVER be done in a year, people did demand for a beta test or better still a longer duration, but I'm sure a promise like that will never be made.

(remember its a 2 year cycle for the developers of these games but even at that, thats not nearly enough time to craft a good game.)
im just hoping that people stop buying in to this BS and don't buy the game. COD's been really destroying the developer field... (seriously, we don't need another "MODREN sand people shooter")

Pfff Kotick is a d*ck anyway. He reminds me of the developer of Daikatana, John Romero ( not related to George Romero). He was going all like " This game is gonna be teh shiaaa !" and instead it's been an epic fail, completely crushed by Half Life 1 or Deus Ex. I think that this f**** named Kotick is going on the same path >.>

Here's the new trailer debut, asia.gamespot.com/news/6315210.html?tag=nl.e579But I'm still again, skeptical. Despite an early release date of 8 November 2011, the problem is very obvious, it's only 6 months left, too short development cycle. By the time it comes out, it's going to be buggy again with bugs like Black Ops. Let's hear the reviews before we even think about buying that game, but you know what, Battlefield 3 is what we're aiming for.

i'm getting tired of NYC being a subject in games. Crytec failed at doing it and i expect even less form Activision. not to mention visually that engines getting really dated.

NYC? As in New York City? As far as the engine goes in MW3, well, not so much either, do you know how difficult it is to program the codes for creating new special effects on the engines? The only engine I heard that gets the most updates is Unreal, when it comes to visual improvement, it's very difficult.
