The third major release by the acid punk band Mindless Self Indulgence and the only release they would do on the Elektra record label. FGWSSS delivers a sonic punch with high falsetto, fast paced singing, heavy use of electronic sound along with guitar, bass and drums. This is also the first album where MSI stops sounding even remotely serious and becomes the ADD punk geeks that a select few know and follow like a cult. With such inspiring song titles as D*cks Are For My Friends, Royally F*cked and I'm Your Problem Now, it's amazing some grubby little Goth kid hasn't killed himself while listening to this stuff. This album also contains one song that goes against everything that is good and pure. The song Backmask, when played forwards conatins the main lyrics "Muthaf*cka go kill yourself!" but, when played backwards conatins messages such as "Clean up your room" "Do your homework" "Go to church" weird eh?
Also, on the inside of the little booklet/cover of the CD this is a message the band put.
"You must listen to this album with your tongue planted firmly in your cheek. If you don't have a sense of irony, or you are a piece of sh*t bigot, or a fundamentalist anything, return this album immediately, don't come to our shows, don't wear our t-shirts. F*ck off. If you're a parent who neglects, beats, or doesn't show your child love, know that we don't condone violence so don't waste our time in court while you try to explain to a jury how our music made your "happy & normal" child into a deranged lunatic.
Thank You"
Also, the band purposely placed asterisks in all of the song titles on the back of the CD, even those that weren't offensive, presumably as a protest against censorship.
