@ Ash: I see... I'll fix it soon. Oh yeah, and your letter will be sent soon too. XD
@ Madisen: Well, that's what I basically did with the character files... I take all the information from the personalities section or read through every character then write them in my own words. Since you added that about Madisen, I guess I would just add it. Sheeyah. >_>
@ Everyone: Well, hey there peeps. Thank you SOO much for the replies on the Character Files and the chapter four update. I totally appreciate it! I know you might not care, but I'm gonna be moving out of my apartment late next month and transfer into new house. Sheeyah, I know I'm not always updating, but I won't be on for consecutive days. Like for those peoples who always IM me all the time, y'know? I'm guessing that the time I'll be gone is gonna be probably a week... three days is the least and two weeks is the most. Yeah. I only update on weekends or a little bit at a time on weekdays... but meh. I hope you guys will miss me. XD
Hah, yeah... I know my rambles probably made this chapter look a little longer, so... sorry if this chapter is kinda short after taking a lnog time to update it. I keep thinking about one idea then jumping into another one, that's why.
Oh yeah, you can kill me again. *rambling on again* >>
An Unlikely Adventure

Chapter 5: Get a ClueJake and Rose couldn’t stand it. They just held on to each other, both not wanting to let go.
“Rose… I…”
He was about to say something, but for some reason, something was interrupting his time with her.
“Rose!” Jake suddenly bursted out loud. He looked up to see Kel, who wasn’t startled but very confused. “Uhh…”
“Dude… what were you doing?” Kel eyeballed his friend strangely.
“I… Rose… gone… no… more.” Jake just couldn’t spell out a sentence. He slapped himself on the head idiotically. “I mean… Rose… she’s gone. What’s wrong with me? We’re through? Is that really it? Aww man!”
“Whoa, whoa… calm down.” Kel suggested that he should stop speaking so quickly so he could understand. “What do you mean?”
“Rose… We were just talking and you know… she said we shouldn’t even meet up with each other in our dreams and all… like, we can’t even make any contact.” Jake paused and sighed. “But all of this is for the best… I think so.”
“Hey… I’m sorry man. I was totally gonna fix it, you know?” Kel said. “But I guess it isn’t the best time to try and figure out a way to get into the Huntsclan in anyway now huh?”
“I guess… not.” Jake said, glancing to see what time it was; 8:27 AM…
“So, still up for meeting up with everyone again today?” Kel tried to sound positive, but some sympathy struck him. “Or… do you want to… you know, be alone for a while?”
“Naw, I’ll go.” He made himself comfortable with clean and comfy clothes. “Besides, I want to try and get it off my mind.”
“Alright, sure.”
OoOoOoOoOoO
Outside…
“Hey Jake!”
“Hi!”
“You okay?”
“Did somebody die?”
“What’s up?”
A group of people was hanging along the school. The same people were lingering by the side of DISOM, waving excitedly while at the same time, giving their regards to Jake…
Most of his instant friends already could tell something was bugging him. Of course, Shade was the first to notice…
“Hey Jake, you alright? It seemed like you were a little happier last night.” Shade said.
“Oh, um… it’s nothing…” Jake lied, biting his lip.
“I know it’s something.” Leah said. “I recognize these things too… and Shade has a good point; you were a LOT more contented and glad yesterday. It’s like you just lost a best friend or something.”
“Actually… more like a… a girlfriend.” Jake said slowly then sighed. “I don’t understand. I thought she told me that even if we can’t see each other, we’ll find a way how. And I guess that chance is taken away.”
“Wow, sounds terrible, Jake.” Madisen said. “What happened?”
“Aww man! I ruined it, did I?” Kay threw her hands up and did a face palm. “But come on, it was a concert! I just can’t miss one, you know!!”
“Naw, it’s not your fault.” Jake sighed. “I think it’s… mine.”
“Why? You didn’t even do anything.” Shade said. “Did you?”
“Well, I don’t think so… I just… kind of feel like it is, y’know?” Jake said with a shrug.
“Hey, you’re not the only one… Sometimes I feel like this whole thing with me and Florence was my fault too.” Shade and Jake were now pacing the floor together, feeling somewhat down again. “It’s just the littlest things that leave you guilty.”
“Yup.” Jake agreed. “I just wish I could slap some sense into her, though. She does know that I won’t stop chasing her until she gives in.”
“That’s what you’re gonna do?” Shade asked.
“I guess… that’s pretty much all I got for now.” Jake softened his voice a little.
Both of them remained silent, and so did the rest of the group.
Jake sighed. “Guess I’m being much of a downer, huh?”
“No, no.” Everybody started shooting out answers in different times.
“Naw… I know. I’ve been thinking about Rose too much lately.” He looked up, turning his direction… he glanced from left to right, recognizing the same people in that identical order; Leah, Madisen, Cat, Kel, Ash, Al, Kevin, then Shade. There wasn’t much of a difference and Jake could tell that these people were probably the ones he mostly talked to so far.
At this time, everybody turned speechless once again.
“Yeah, I guess I’ll… get lost.” He walked off.
Everyone glanced at each other, worry in their faces.
“Was it something I said?”
OoOoOoOoOoO
In the late afternoon…
Jake stepped out the small little deck that was placed outside his dorm. It was a nice, but tiny, place to stay. The seemingly miniature patio was at least big enough to fit in a chair and probably a little table.
He didn’t seem to mind or notice about the size of it, though. All that seemed important to him was that the deck seemed like a place to be away from everything… take his mind off of things… or have a little time for him… just him, you know?
Jake didn’t bother sitting, though. He was standing, resting his arms on the fence-like rail.
He gazed and glanced around at the breezy atmosphere… The sun lit a bright yellow-orange color while the sky had a beautiful pastel of vivid colors… Jake loved the sight he was experiencing… It seemed as if he never took the time to stop and smell the flowers… or watch the sunset for that matter.
“Hey, you looking up at the clouds too?” Josh came up to Jake, who was still on the deck. Luckily, it was big enough to fit two or three people, so Jake easily slid over and let him stand next to him. “I heard about what happened with you and Rose.”
“Oh great, is this break up gonna spread out through everyone?” Jake rolled his eyes.
“No, I really am sorry.” Josh glanced up at the clouds. “I really do hope things get better between you two. And you know, everybody else is feeling remorseful for that too.”
“Oh.” Jake started feeling bad… about how he just walked out on his friends. “I guess I should apologize to them… I just thought I was ruining everything, you know?”
“Yeah, I guess so. We all feel that way sometimes.”
“Totally…”
“Soo, Kel and the rest are waiting up for you downstairs… they're real worried. Still wanna come?”
“I’d love that. There’s school tomorrow anyway. Wouldn’t want to make my first weekend here such a bummer.”
“Right. Now let’s go.”
OoOoOoOoOoO
Late, late, late (REAL late) at night…
Jake yawned. He woke up from his sleep for the umpteenth time… It just seemed like it was just impossible to fall asleep, especially since he decided to put off his dream charm; he had taken it off that morning and set it somewhere… not wanting to use it for a while.
The room was filled with silence… On the top bunk, Kel was still sound asleep… and Jake had decided to maybe sneak out of his dorm and fly around; it was just something he felt he ought to do.
He climbed out of his bed unhurriedly, tiptoeing slowly. He grabbed his dorm key, slipped it in his pocket, and then opened the door. It was a little creaky as he opened it but he managed to close it again with no trouble.
Jake maintained his silence and kept creeping until he found an open window. He dragoned up and flew out the window swiftly.
“Ahhh, this feels nice.” He felt himself gliding the sky freely… as if all of his problems were slowly fading away.
Suddenly, balls of green energy flew out in the twilight sky. Jake was so distracted that he barely missed them. He flew to the ground a little harshly and looked over as he saw two mysterious people were holding staffs. Only, they weren’t Huntstaffs, more like a staff-like blade of some sort… something just seemed amiss with this picture. Or at least, that was what Jake thought.
“Whoa!” He said as another ball of energy was shot over his head.
“Darn, I almost got him!!” A girl’s voice was heard.
“Come on Roxy, why don’t we just skip this? What’s the point of shooting a dragon?” The other one sighed.
“Y…yeah! Why not agree with her?” Jake seemed to be nervous.
The two girls in black cloaks stood straightforwardly together.
“Yeah, whatever… name’s Roxanne, but you can call me Roxy. R-O-X-Y. Got it memorized?” She said with feeling.
(A/N: If you tell me where I got this from and who said this, I’ll give you a cookie. Mehehehe…)“Right…” Jake said, awkwardly staring. “What about your’s?” He turned to the other girl in the black cloak. “You seem awfully quiet.”
“I’m no one.” She said softly. “My name is of no importance.” All she did was give a shrug and look down.
“Oh come on, he’s not out to get us! Why not just tell him now?” Roxy said with a little bit of attitude.
“I just don’t want to.” Her voice sounded almost completely inaudible. “I don’t think I’m that important to know.”
“Uh… okaaay.” He said. “So… what are two girls doing here? And… what’s up with the black cloaks?”
“One, none of your business… and two, take a guess.” Roxy crossed her arms. “Psh, forget this. We’re out of here. Come on…”
Jake heard Roxy say a name… but he didn’t seem to be listening carefully and didn’t have time to ask as they both disappeared, using darkness to fade away in ease.
“Geez, what was that about?” Jake scratched his head. He shrugged and flew back to the open window. “I’ve had too many weird stuff in one day… erh, night.”
End Chapter FiveCharacter Files:Roxanne-
newOr “Roxy” for short. Roxy seemed like she was very determined when he spotted Jake and started shooting at him. She was a girl that appeared alongside her mysterious partner. Up to now, Jake seems to have no idea what this girl, or her compadre, is planning on doing. She and her friend appear to be part of the Huntsclan… or some sort of group. The black cloak makes out a very strange difference. Just like her other “pal”, Jake could not distinguish or match up a face he was familiar to. She sounded a little more rebellious and strong-minded than her partner, though.
????????-
newA mysterious girl that Jake also met up with one night while sneaking out of his dorm in DISOM. This one seemed to have been a little gentler to Jake and seemed a little more acknowledgeable with the fact that he did nothing to be someone you had to freely start shooting at. From the tone of her voice, she sounded very quiet and sweet… She looks like she’s part of the Huntsclan, but it was too dark to be able to see and the hood on her black cloak was placed over her head, so he couldn’t make out any recognizable appearances. She sounds a lot like someone familiar. “My name is of no importance,” She said as Jake asked for her name. What could she be hiding?
Heh, well... that's it. Hope you enjoyed the crappy, short chapter five. I'm working on chapter six... so don't hurt meeee!!! *runs*
