Wow this is so old Kel will probably lock this thread for bringing up old threads
Chapter 10- Back to the old man.
‘This is it’ I thought. I have no choice. I have to turn dragon, even in front of Kellen. At that moment the door burst open. ‘Here I go I thought’ and closed my eyes. Just before turning dragon I quickly opened them, to see the huntsclan. ‘What the?’ I thought and looked around. The police were all unconscious on the ground. I had been saved by the huntsclan.
“We still need you dragon” the huntsmaster said walking through the door. “Be more careful in future” With that he and the huntsclan all left leaving Kellen and I alone.
“Did he just call you dragon?” Kellen asked me.
“Yes… Uhhh… I mean no… uhh I mean” I begun to stutter. “Yes, that’s, his nickname for me, Dragon.”
“Uhh. You sure?” Kellen asked once again.
“Yeah… Im sure” I replied.
“Schwag” Kellen said.
The huntsmaster reappeared. “Come on Kellen, your duty here is finished.’
“Well I got to go now” Kellen said. “Later Bro :fup:” He waved as he left.
They shut the door as they left, leaving Atecom in the house, where his old house used to be, until he was framed for burning it down. He decided to head off to the blue mountains in order to find the old dragon he trained with.
I walked out the back of the house. I felt the sun on me. There were still helicopters in the air all over the air. ‘Im a copkiller” I thought. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Sometimes I just wished that I could turn dragon and escape from it all but I knew that couldn’t happen. They would send more officers to the house I realised, so I knew that I had to get away from the house quickly. I just needed to go to a place where I could turn dragon, and fly towards the Blue Mountains. ‘The station is not to far, I could get there.’ I crept up into my old neighbours’ yard, and lifted up a back window. I knew that they always kept that window unlocked cause of fire safety. Luckily at the moment, they were not at home. I climbed in and walked into the bedroom. I found it luckily that I was the same size as my neighbour and therefore changing clothes would not be a problem. I changed into dome inconspicuous clothes, then searched around for a few minutes for anything else I could use. I found a backpack, which I put my old clothes and some other clothes in. I found some foos which I packed, money, etc. I wasn’t too worried about stealing from my old neighbour, I had a lot more to worry about at the moment.
With that I exited through the back window, shutting it as I left. I walked round the front of the house and down the street towards the station. ‘The old man better have some info I can use.’ I thought to myself.

Chapter 10- Encounter with Fred
To cut a long story short, I took the North-western line down to Strathfield where I was out of the police radar. Radios everywhere had the information of what happened, I was being treated like some sort of terrorist. Once there I walked clear of all the urban areas and transformed dragon in order to fly to the Blue Mountains. I had to try hard to remember where I had to go to find him. It was 2 years since I was there last and the Blue mountains are a huge place. I looked along the ridges, some seemed familiar, whilst others I could not remember. It took me at least another 2 hours to find the place. I was bored of searching, but I really needed to find out what happened to my grandfather. I finally found the hill and landed on it, near where the shack was. I recognised the place from the training that I received there.
I walked up the hill, on top was the small cottage where the old dragon lived. The familiar sight felt pleasant to me as I walked closer. I remembered back to my weeks training. It had been kind of fun back when life was free and I wasn’t on the run. I walked round to the front of the old cottage. ‘I hope he doesn’t react badlt to my presence’ I thought. ‘After all he might still be aligned with the dragon council.’ ‘But then again, he seemed to like my grandfather.’ I thought again, but I still paused and hesitated before knocking on the door. ‘I hope this goes well’ I continued thinking reaching out my hand, knocking loudly on the wooden door. The wood was so aged that it felt it might cave if I knocked any harder. I waited. There was no answer. I knocked again, harder this time, the door surprisingly withstood the beating. There was still no answer. I sighed. ‘He must be out’ I thought, trying the knob. It was unlocked. I opened the door and looked inside. It was pitch black. But I remembered where he kept the lights, back in the other room.
I slowly felt my way across the wall so that I could get to the room. The small amount of light that shone through the open door was not nearly enough to brighten up many aspects of the room and I did not want to trip over anything. After a slow and weary journey I made my way to the back room and managed to get in. I found the switch box. I felt around feeling the switches. ‘Which one will light up the room?’ I wondered. I felt my way around the switches in the hope that one felt, like a light switch. I couldn’t feel anything that was particularly standing out as a light switch. I decided to start from top to bottom, go left to right flicking each switch in order to find the correct switch. Each switch I flicked seemed to present me with an absence of any detectable changes. I could have used dragon vision, or used an energy ball to light up the room, but to be honest I really could not be bothered so I opted to continue the longer method of pointlessly flicking switches till I got something which I did on the second last switch. It filled the room with a bright light. I had to shield my eyes a little at first and I stayed where I was until my eyes finally adjusted and I no longer had to continuously blink to avoid my eyes hurting.
After I looked around for a bit, I made my way to the main room. Peering in through the doorway, I gasped at what I saw. There was blood everywhere and papers lying about all over the floor. It looked as if some great struggle had been present recently. I looked around in horror. ‘The Dragon council must have got to him’ were the first thoughts that crossed my mind. I looked on the bloodstained table. There was one sheet of paper on it. I walked over to the paper in order to examine it. It was bloodstained but I still picked it up because there was barely legible writing on it.
‘To Atecom, If you do happen to come here. Your recent fame in the media has made the dragon council step up their search for you. They came here earlier on and laid out the torture because they knew of my previous association with you. They also have your Mother right now. I fear they will be back anytime to take me away for more interrogation on Draco island. And Atecom, If you do get this, there is one very important thing you must know…’
The note seemed to end there.
‘Damn it’ I thought. ‘The dragon council has him.’ I saw no other choice. I felt that I had to go back to Draco island and confront them myself, right now. If they were the ones responsible for my grandfather’s death, the hunts clan claimed that I could only get it from their mouth that is if the hunts clan were not just tricking me to get to draco island. I didn’t really care if they were but I felt I still needed to exercise caution. Then there was also the lead the hunts clan gave me, Erasmus. Who was he? And what kind of info did he have? I walked out of the shack back into the outside. It seemed quiet out there was not even the sound of birds chirping in the air.
“Oi there you are, found you at last you murderer” A voice suddenly popped up from behind me. “I knew I might find you here If I waited long enough.”
I turned around in shock and looked up where the voice was coming from. Up standing on the roof was Fred Nerk in his dragon form. I stared at him for a moment, then I stepped back and laughed.
“Ah Fred, how nice of you to come and keep me company”
“Ill never forgive you for what you did to my brother” He replied angrily spitting on the ground besides me. “You’re a murderer, and I shall put you to justice”
“And how shall this miracle be achieved Fred?” I asked sockily.
“Let me show you how” He yelled jumping off the roof and diving at me. I merely sidestepped, then immediately transformed into my dragon form.
“I am so much stronger and skilled then when I fought your brother, I’m sorry to tell you but you do not have a chance against me” I taunted. It felt really great to be on the stronger side and to deal out the taunts.
“My brother could have killed you in a second. He barely even tried. He just got socky. That is not the same mistake I will be making” He replied attempting to swipe at me suddenly, but I just stepped back out of range.
“Let me show you true power” I replied grabbing Fred by the neck. “I could crush you like a little fly in a second. There is nothing stopping me from doing so right now.”
“You’ll be losing a precious ally you know” Fred replied wheezing.
“Your not my ally” I replied coldly. “Even if you were against the dragon council, I would never ally with you.”
“The Australian hunts clan” He started struggling. “They are only here on the proviso that they kill the next Australian Dragon. Me. If you kill me, they will be fired and you will have no help from them.”
“Wait a second, how do you know that I have associated with the hunts clan?”
“The dragon council said that you would have to turn to them for help sometime. Especially since you were a friend of one of their members” Fred replied his face beginning to go red.
“Well too bad for you it’s the New York Hunts clan that I am teamed with, not the Australian hunts clan. But I guess they were close to Schwayne and I do not want them losing their jobs.” I released my grip on Fred. “I guess I will eventually have to take you to them but right now, I’ve got something more important to deal with.”
“Ill get you!!!” He roared swiping both claws at me. I just grabbed them. He started pushing, I pushed back we were interlocked in a battle.
“Huh I see you have got some of your brother’s strength inside you” I laughed as I had to apply a small amount of effort. “Unfortunately, it isn’t enough.” With that I let out a small burst of strength, turned him around and threw him into a tree. The tree stump which cracked upon impact.
“Id love to stay and play” I continued, but I have an appointment with the dragon council that I would really like to keep.
With that I turned around and took off into the air, high above the trees. Its time I faced the dragon council.
