Pretty flippin sweet, Ewan. Lots of talk, obviously, but it appears that this shall be setting the stage for much better things to come. The cliffie was actually pretty un-cliffie-ish, though. And I agree with Raffi, the Gluttony part was just plain awkward. But other than that, nice job!! =D

I realized that Kevin. XDD I tried to make it more cliffie, but that was the best I could do. And Gluttony is a childish freak, whatchoo expect? Here’s chapter 4.
Chapter 4: A Hero Fallen
“When I was a boy, while our Huntsclan hadn’t been so hostile, my older brother was in love with a beautiful woman; the most beautiful woman I’d seen.” Adlez explained. They were now in a building, everyone listening to Adlez’s explanation, “They had plans to marry. But as fate would have it, she fell ill with a fatal disease and soon after, died.”
“So I assume your brother made…” Florence began to muster to herself.
Adlez continued, “My brother got magical books and started studying under the magic, which was forbidden because of Huntsclan bylaws. Once he tried to bring her back, he was exiled from our clan. But I wonder if he actually brought her back through that homunculus named Lust.”
“Do you know how those things are born; it’s after a person tries to bring back a person from the dead. It is supposed to be the exact same person being resurrected.” Shade asked and then explained. Adlez and Lyla gasped; Elaine wasn’t in the room.
“I actually remember Dante telling me about homunculi once. She failed bringing back someone and it created a vicious monster I should watch out for…” explained Lyla, holding onto the necklace around her neck.
“Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, she probably made Greed. Yet, it doesn’t explain why they’re so powerful, so I figure that somebody must be gathering them together and making them stronger.” suggested the blue dragon to them.
“So wait, you’re saying my brother created Lust?” Adlez quickly added calmly.
“Calm down, that woman was definitely not the woman your brother loved because she doesn’t have a soul.” Shade told him. Adlez looked at the locket closely in his fingers and Shade walked up and picked up, “Lust doesn’t hate this for sentimental reasons; they are weakened by being near the remains of the true person.” the locket was picked open with some strips of black hair in it.
“You want to know what they’re after… aren’t you?” Adlez asked. Shade gasped a little and then nodded, “As you know about the blue crystal form that water group, there’s three others. The worst of the four is the red one, which amplifies fire powers and the ability to go intangible. The blue one works with water and telekinesis. Yellow goes with lightning and can regain your health whenever. Lastly, the green crystal can either give you the earth (vine) powers or anything else you want. However, each one has different needed sacrifices.” he finished.
“Such as…?” wondered Jake.
“Well the red stone is easily found anywhere, but each crystal is made by human sacrifices. Each red crystal is one person each, blue is ten, yellow is one hundred… and the green has thousands…” muttered the Huntsclan member. They all gasped slowly.
“And… you’re using Elaine as a puppet to make the stone!? Just using Riore as a place to get that green stone!?” Shade yelled.
“Calm down, Shade! You’ve misunderstood Adlez’s tactics; he isn’t going to kill anyone from here.” explained Lyla.
“Tell me, Lyla, what are you doing here anyway?” declared the teenager.
“That figure was trying to kill Greed…” Lyla began to mutter, “I saw Greed walk into the mansion and a shadowed figure killing Greed. That thing tried to attack me, so after Dante was murdered, I didn’t know what to do.” her voice trembled slightly, “I went to a place I could help, and when I stumbled across this place, unconscious, I was accepted and learned about Adlez’s actions. Before the attack, the townspeople will go into a secret passageway out of the city, where Adlez will sacrifice those in the military who have come to attack, where he will take the green crystal.”
“The soldiers of that militia have lives too!” Florence added in.
“You’re curious about them, aren’t you? You have good intentions to as well.” Elaine cut in as she waked up in the area, carrying her baby brother, “I learned enough about the military, and once I learned they sent me out here so I wouldn’t go back.” she muttered, looking down at the baby boy with a saddened face.
“What did you learn?” asked Jake slowly.
“There’s a homunculus who can shape shift easily into the Emperor of the military, while… the secretary of the Emperor is a homunculus on her own.” she told them.
“How did you find out!?” Shade called out to her.
“Kabuto told me…” the pink-haired girl said slowly.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoFLASHBACKoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“Kabuto had been lying that I had left to everyone so that what he found out he could give to me and pass on without risk.” Elaine said in a voice-over, “It, as you know, was two weeks before now when I went to Kabuto.”
(A/N: I thought I should state this now because it takes a while to get to Africa, even as dragons, and I thought two weeks would be a suitable time for Elaine to get there and rule as the ‘holy mother’.)
Kabuto had been reading through numerous files while Elaine paced in his office, “Find anything yet?” she asked him.
“No—wait…” Kabuto muttered, looking at a letter and read it out loud, “Juliet Douglass was killed in action in a war…” he said and then realized about the Emperor’s secretary.
“That makes no sense, she’s the secretary!” Elaine called out to Kabuto.
“Unless… that name was taken and reused.” muttered Kabuto. He pulled out his phone and called Spud and they had a conversation before Kabuto hung up.
“What was that about?” she asked.
“Well, there’s only one thing… Spud told me about these things that Shade and the others are after, called homunculi. That might be what she is…” answered the glasses-wearing teenager, pushing his glasses in place.
“You don’t think…?” Elaine began, watching Kabuto get up and walk to the door.
“I’m going to find something out. Elaine, stay in the secret tunnel I made in the closet and I’ll let you know what I find out.” he simply said, opening and then closing the door. Elaine was about to say something and then just sighed when he was gone and went into the closet.
Kabuto had been crawling through vents and went inside a room to find the Emperor talking with his secretary.
“Don’t worry, sir, the war will be continued and we will make sure they get the first attack in.” she explained to him.
“Good, it will seem more justified if they attack first, much like the other wars before us.” the Emperor said as he saluted to Juliet and then left the room. In the large, empty hall, Kabuto shot out from the vents with a hand dagger in his right hand in the neck of the Emperor.
“So… you have been starting wars? This is not justified of you, this is a corrupt military!” yelled Kabuto. Suddenly, the hand dagger was shot from his hands and the Emperor turned to Kabuto, who tried to punch the Emperor, but missed until he caught one of his hands. Kabuto groaned and pulled it out of his grip and tossed a kunai at him, but he dodged it and it shot off the eye patch that was over one of the Emperor’s eyes.
“You can’t defeat me, silver dragon; I have the Ultimate Eye…” the Emperor said slowly, his white, left eye changing to show his real intentions; it was the mark of the homunculi. Kabuto gasped at this sight and then started running off, the Emperor just watching with his homunculus eye.
“I have to tell Elaine… she has to tell the others!” Kabuto thought as he was running. In all strange odds, the whole area was abandoned, mostly in Kabuto’s area, as he shot into his office and into the closet.
“Kabuto…?” Elaine muttered, rubbing her eyes in the hidden tunnel, but Elaine could hear Kabuto, even with the cover of the tunnel.
“Elaine… I don’t have much time, I have to tell you! The Emperor’s secretary is indeed a homunculus… but that’s not all!” Kabuto told Elaine as she started walking off, but to the point where she could still hear, “The Emperor… he’s a homunculus as well!” Kabuto yelled, Elaine gasping into both her hands. She quickly started running off along the tunnel as in Kabuto’s office, the Emperor entered and closed Kabuto’s door.
“Good-bye…” he muttered, pulling out his sword and slashing twice at Kabuto, making him slowly fall on his floor and his glasses flying off his nose, straight across the room.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Elaine didn’t tell Shade and the others the final part, about how the Emperor had killed Kabuto, only so he wouldn’t go crazy of revenge.
“My mercy will not be spent on military soldiers and neither should yours.” Adlez said finally, getting up and leaving.
“I… I think we should all get some sleep. We start the first part of our evacuation tomorrow.” slowly answered Lyla a little after Adlez left. Everyone nodded and they all left the room, except Shade and Elaine.
“So… what have you been up to…?” Shade asked Elaine, walking a little closer to her. Elaine set down on a chair near Shade.
“I’ve just been here… working on my duties as holy mother…” muttered Elaine, rocking her baby brother in her arms. She turned and saw Shade has sneaked over closer to her, making her look away and blush a little, “but, I’ve missed you while I was gone.”
“Yeah, me too…” Shade said slowly, rubbing the back of his head nervously. He walked around her and onto the couch right next to her.
“This place is really interesting, but I’m sad to have to use it and force the people to evacuate their own city.” Elaine said sorrowfully and turned to Shade who seemed to be dreamily looking at her, making her sad face turn back into a smile.
“Don’t worry, we’ll all help work back Riore when it’s safe to come back.” reassured Shade in a calming tone, his right hand on Elaine’s shoulder.
“We’d better get some sleep, I’m sure you’re tired.” noted Elaine with her smile making her eyes closed. Her baby brother was already asleep in its blanket in Elaine’s arms. Shade smiled and nodded, helping Elaine in to his room. Shade just yawned and laid down on the couch.
“Too hot for me to put on a blanket.” he muttered to himself, nodding off to bed a few minutes after he closed his eyes.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
It was now the next day and many of the people were being escorted in the large underground getaway. Many murmurs could be heard from people who wanted to stay and help fight, but they weren’t answered and no one turned back. Shade and Jake were in the lead while Florence, Lyla, and Elaine were right behind them.
“We should almost be there now.” Lyla told Shade and Jake, who turned back and nodded, but stayed looking back when they heard a sharp noise behind.
“AHH!!” yelled many natives as a wall burst and water filled and burst through the other side, encasing many people from Riore in the water that was all floating in one place in the area. Shade and Jake ran ahead as many people on the front-end of the barrier ran away.
“What is that thing?” Jake wondered slowly, watching a person who looked nothing like a native and in an 11-year-old body.
“I’ve been waiting for you, Shade…” he muttered, speeding out of the water, “I’m Wrath!” Wrath introduced, obviously showing this was another homunculus.
“And who made you?” Shade asked, crossing his arms and slowly turning into his dragon form. Jake did the same, keep his eye on the water behind Wrath.
“Oh, you weren’t told?” Wrath asked him, “That Bartholomew guy… your teacher.” Shade gasped, making Jake realize Shade wouldn’t be good at quick battle.
“So what’s your power?” quickly asked Jake to the young homunculus.
“Well, I can fuse to things and make myself something… like this!” yelled Wrath as he picked up a stone and fused it to his right arm, making it a stone sword, “Yaaahhhh!!!” Wrath charged at Shade, but Jake got in the way and smacked the sword stone with his claw, making it break. Wrath groaned and continued the fight a little far off as Shade continued to stare at the water barrier.
“Shade…” a calm voice muttered, the secretary walking out from the water, making Shade focus again and then turned back into his human form.
“What are you doing here?” demanded Shade. Juliet smiled and let out a calming laugh.
“Don’t you remember? It’s your dear grandmother, Shade…” the homunculus said, suddenly changing into a large water mass.
“AHHH!!!!” Shade yelled out of shock, now on the floor and just staring at her. Wrath kicked Jake onto a wall, making him groan as he turned into a human. While Shade was distracted by the homunculus, Wrath turned his right arm into a stone sword again and held his arm up, ready to slice down at Shade.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Alright, I actually made a better cliffhanger, I think. Okay, R & R! XD

Hey, thanks for keeping your word that you'd update today. SOME people (*glares at Raffi*) make empty promises. xDD
The chapter was pretty sweet. The cliffie was better, too, although in my opinion it would've been even better if you hadn't used the last paragraph and instead ended it at the next-to-last. Still good, though!! Update reeeeallll soon, ya hear? =]

^ HEY! I had a project to do, Kevin. SO MM MM MM.
Anyway, sorry if this is gonna be short but I have like a ton of homework. Plus, I don't think I'd be too productive like I've been for like... a long time. AND might I say this, WOW that was one interesting chapter! And I mean it made me think like.. a lot. Aside from thinking that those homunculi are ebil. Just like my English teacher... Aye poor Kabuto. Now I'm also wondering what happened to him. I love how you do that; always making people... wonder. [: Hah, well, nice chapter. It's like RISING ACTION. WAHHHH so interesting. Keep going!

Oh Raffi, you and your complaining to Kevin-ness. Anywhays, here’s chapter 5; I’ll try to put lots of action in throughout the chapter. I can never tell with my action, so I'll just let you decide weither or not it has a decent amount of action or not. ;>
Chapter 5: Sounding the Alarm of Oblivion
Wrath fused his arm to another stone on the raised his stone arm at Shade, who was staring at the strange water mass who was a homunculus.
“Wah!” whined the child held in Elaine’s arms, making Wrath suddenly stop. Elaine was just standing there, glaring at Wrath until she turned to Shade.
“Shade… get up…” she began to mutter, “Get up and move… forward!” Wrath groaned and stared down, turned to Elaine.
“Shut up… shut that thing up…” demanded Wrath evilly, “Shut up… shut up…” he continued saying, looking up at the baby and then charging at Elaine, screaming. Elaine took a deep breath and began to scream in return, making Shade not focused on the water homunculus and then lurched to his feet.
“Elaine!” Shade called out, charging at the child homunculus. He was about to attack the baby in Elaine’s arms until Shade tackled Wrath down to the ground.
“Get off me!” Wrath whined, aiming his sword hand at Shade, but he flipped up and kicked Wrath back in the back, making him whelp a little. After jumping off Wrath’s back, Shade raised his right arm and turned it into an ice shield. Once he has done that, he rammed Wrath into a wall, making him groan, just laying there.
“Run, Elaine!” yelled Shade. Elaine paused for a moment and the nodded, running back of to Lyla’s location. Jake continued to lay on the floor as well while Shade stared at the water barrier all changing back into the human form it was, only wearing a long, black dress (making her homunculus tattoo visible, in the area around her heart) and black hair instead of brunette.
“Well, since it’s obvious I can’t get past you THAT easy… I’m Sloth.” Sloth introduced, changing her arms into water tentacles. Countering, Shade ducked and put his hands to the water, freezing them.
“Nice try, but I work with water as well!” Shade told Sloth, running in the middle of the water he froze and controlling some of it to shoot at the homunculus, but in the spots it was directed at, the icicles shot right through Sloth, because she turned that part of her body into water.
“And you should know that even without my powers, homunculi don’t die.” taunted the woman, smiling calmly. Sloth shot through the ice around her water arms and tried to tie them against Shade again. His dragon wings shot from his back and he flew up to get away from the attack and landed in front of Sloth.
“And you forget that I’m a dragon; not much of a grandmother, are you!?” barked Shade angrily, putting his hands out and making an ice ball in each one. He started running at Sloth again and threw the ice balls to encase her arms in ice again. Right before Shade hit Sloth’s body, he flew up behind her and swung his arms around, controlling the ice to completely surround Sloth’s entire body.
“Huh?” Sloth slowly gasped while Shade kicked on the ice to make Sloth shatter into many pieces. The dragon wings vanished as Shade watched Wrath slowly getting up and gasping at the sight of his fellow homunculus into many pieces.
“You’ll pay for that.” growled Wrath as he ran to one of the ice blocks and fused it to his hands, turning them into icicle hammers, “Die!!” he yelled, but Shade easily controlled the pieces of frozen Sloth to melt back into water and surrounded Wrath before freezing the water.
“Uh…” Jake groaned as he slowly got onto his feet. Shade ran over and helped him up.
“You okay?” he asked, Jake just answering with a small smile and a nod. Elaine, Lyla, and Florence were still standing there as Shade and Jake walked with the other people of Riore toward the end.
“You know it takes more than that to kill them. If that’s the best you’ve got, you’ll never win…” Lyla muttered, but Shade ignored her and continued on. Once they had left, Sloth changed from ice back to herself and Wrath got up.
“Let’s hope that the crystal is made soon to bring back to the master.” muttered Sloth as she brushed her hand through her hair and turned into a water puddle, slithering off. Wrath was grinning the whole time and running with Sloth.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“I don’t understand your actions, Pride…” muttered Lust to the Emperor, his homunculus name being Pride, “Adlez needs those components to create the green crystal, why would you call off the military invading Riore?”
“I don’t know, but I know the actions were from the boss.” Pride simply answered, looking out the window in the hidden location outside of the Riore outskirts. Lust and Gluttony (also in the room) gasped.
“Uh-oh…” the fat homunculus whispered, turning to Lust. He was sitting on a bed while Lust was leaning against a wall near the head of the bed.
“Well that’s just not good enough. If Adlez is going to create a crystal, I’m going to help him.” Lust told Pride, but it was obvious how nervous she was because of the perspiration drops all over her face, the same ones on Gluttony’s face. Pride just turned to Lust with his right, human eye.
“Don’t you think you’re taking this infatuated school girl routine a bit too far?” he wondered, Lust just breathing a little as she bit her lip and looked at the wooden floor, “We’re alive because of our master, don’t forget that Lust.”
“We aren’t alive, hence the search for that crystal,” Lust added in a statement as her sweat vanished and she got to her feet. She started to stride across the room, “I guess I’ll have to take care of this myself, thanks for nothing, traitor.”
“Mmm…” Gluttony slowly grumbled.
“Coming, Gluttony?” she asked once she had gotten to the door.
“Want to… but I’m afraid…” whispered Gluttony again as he looked away from Lust in toward the area of Pride. She just scoffed and left, Pride glaring at her and Gluttony looking at her in worry.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Adlez was walking in the city streets of Riore, “I hate forcing them out of their home and using Elaine as a holy mother, but I have to make that crystal.”
“Is that why you have been playing against this town to make an array?” an evil-looking man asked Adlez, but he was wearing a blue military outfit.
“A person from the military… alone?” he wondered.
“Don’t worry, the Emperor was clear on his orders.” the man just said, turning into his dragon form and grinned. His militia outfit staid on his dragon outfit, which was a brown-purple color with a dark green color.
“You!” Adlez said, pointing at him, “You were one of the dragons who attacked our helpless land and killed millions…”
“That’s right… and I intend to kill millions more until the day I die!” the man answered, flying to Adlez, but he swung his right arm across and his marked arm smacked across his face.
“I’ve gotten stronger since then!” yelled Adlez, throwing the dragon into a building that completely collapsed all over him. He got off the rubble back in his human form and chucked, making dark orbs around his hands and feet.
“This can make me more powerful…” he muttered, running to Adlez and putting an orb in front of Adlez’s face. Once there, it blew up and the smoke encased Adlez.
“What is all this?” Adlez called out in asking, coughing into his hand.
“That was the distraction…” the solider muttered, running farther off and shooting a foot orb at Adlez, which actually blew up into an actual explosion. Adlez started yelling as he flew into a wall and fell to his back.
“Oh…” he groaned slowly. The militia man laughed and turned around.
“My work is done…” muttered the man slowly and walked off a little. But while turned around, he couldn’t hear Adlez had already gotten up and punched the orb in his hand, making smoke and allowing Adlez the moment to throw a rock at the explosion orb on Adlez’s foot, which exploded him into the air and back down.
“In God’s name, I will relieve you of your sins…” Adlez slowly said, looking at the bloody and dying body of the military man who was twitching slowly, “A person like you wouldn’t want to live like this…” he picked up a large rock slowly and went over to the man and threw it into the air…
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“Just keep going, the next city isn’t too much farther.” Shade told Elaine and Lyla, who were with the other people from Riore. They were at a ruined area far off from the actual city of Riore.
“We have to go now.” Elaine said in her calm voice.
“Do the best you can; we’ve got to track down Adlez and get him.” explained Jake, his wounds covered with bandages.
“You’re going to hand him over to the military?” Lyla asked, watching Jake. This thought made Florence take a little sigh.
“It’s the only way the people of Riore can be cleared of any blame for this war; I have no choice.” muttered Shade in response to what Jake explained.
“Please don’t do it…” Florence whispered under her breath, “It’s not right.” Shade just slowly turned to his girlfriend and sighed as well.
“But you understand why I have to do it.” responded the dragon and Florence looked down and closed her eyes. She looked up and just nodded.
“Of course, uh, maybe with other people I know in the military and the whole secretary ordeal, we could work something out, I dunno!” ranted Shade a bit, scratching his head and then looking down at the child in Elaine’s arms, who was now happy and cooing at Shade, “Just… make sure that you get far. The farther away from the military, the less chance they’ll find out your location.”
“Of course, we know the stakes and have no intention of being caught. We’ll disperse a handful of us into each town that we pass, blending in with the population.” Lyla explained with a slight glare to Shade.
“The people of Riore are counting on you now Lyla… and you.” Shade said, his smile going to Elaine when he looked at her. She returned the smile.
“Okay, I’ll see you.” Elaine muttered.
“Uh-huh.” said Shade, believing that he was lying to Elaine. It was morning and troops surrounded the whole town of Riore as Shade, Jake, and Florence started walking off. Shade and Jake turned into their dragon forms and started flying low on the ground, like they were gliding.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“The homunculi won’t be getting this crystal that I make… at least not that Lust female…” Adlez muttered to himself, dragging the dead body of the man who entered the city with his left hand and holding the locket around his right hand, where his Huntsclan mark was shown.
“Come look, come look!” Gluttony cheered to Pride inside the house they were at. It was still dusk at this time as all of the tanks and military were getting lined up around the city, “Hee, hee, hee, hee, hee… death, death! Soon they’ll all be dead.”
“I suppose so, only if that human wannabe can get a grip on her emotions.” muttered Pride as he walked to the window where Gluttony was watching all of the army getting lined up.
“So the crystal is going to be made soon…” Lust muttered to Adlez. She was on a building and walking the same way of him.
“But you’re not going to be able to take it.” Adlez simply answered, jumping to the building in front of Lust’s. She glared at him and hopped behind a water tower and watched as Adlez dropped the body of the dragon he killed in sight of the army. What looked like the general was looking at this through his binoculars.
“He’s killed one of our elite dragon soldiers… They’re just begging for war.” The general said, “Bring the front line in.” he told a man and he nodded, running to another person and then the first row of people stormed the city, trying to find Adlez. After about ten minutes of searching, the general was glaring at the city while Adlez was hiding in a building with Lust.
“Before you got out there… I need to know.” muttered Lust, watching Adlez.
“I know what you’re going to ask… you’re only a homunculus… but I did love my brother’s fiancée… I guess he just knew the entire time.” Adlez muttered to Lust, who was just interestingly watching him.
“Are you going to do it?” asked Lust.
“Yes… I’m going to create that crystal now.” he muttered, looking at the locket in his hands and shot out of the building. Lust just stared at the ground as gunshots could be heard in the direction of where Adlez had run.
“Alright, send in the rest of the troops…” the commander mustered, watching all the soldiers and tanks slowly going into the city. Shade, Jake, and Florence were close to the area now and running on their feet.
Adlez was just wandering around the city, numerous bullets through him, “If I make the crystal while holding this… Lust won’t be able to take it…” Adlez’s face turned into a smile as he slowly fell onto the floor, making the same array that trapped Greed shine up all over the city in green. The soldiers in the city gasped as they saw a giant, green beam shoot from the middle of the city into the city and the shockwave making a green wave slowly encase the area. Once the wave hit someone, they vanished.
“Shade…?” a soldier near Shade asked as they got into the area. Surprisingly, it was Josh the elf. Before Shade could answer, Shade gasped at the shockwave coming their way.
“No…” Shade muttered slowly.
“You idiots!!!” yelled Jake quickly, controlling a giant fire barrier around as many people as he could. Shade and Josh did the same with their respective powers. The green shockwave had gotten very powerful and reached its limit of the city and a large borderline.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
There’s another paragraph I could have added at the end, but I really think this is a better cliffhanger than the other one. XP

Fascinating.... AND HEYYYYYY you were right. TONS OF ACTION, YAY! Which was very well-written, as always. Writing that genre isn't a gift I have, so of course, I'd be impressed. Shade fightyyy. AHAHA! *points at Jake laughing* I mean. :] Suspenseful ending. I'M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT. I can't do that yet with ATN quite yet, so yup... I like cliffhangers, yet I don't. Ooh, I like more thinking. Even if I'm slow, I still like how these things make me question to myself constantly. Either you're extremely good at it, or I'm just totally stupid. xD Second answer must be it. YAY I LIKE ACTION. Spoiler alert to ATN CHAPTER UNO; there's a bit in the beginning and probably a bit of suspense, but not really, actually. The fighting whatnot isn't with anybody in the story, technically. I guess you'll just have to see how it works when I post the chapter today (In return to the spoiler you gave to me about who Pride and Sloth were) :P Hah the emperor was a fat homunculus. How rude. Ummm, I'll save you.. umm... BABY BROTHER. And uh, all those people. Aha, I slept early last night and woke up six and watched A Goofy Movie cause it was on. I'm weird. Okay, I'm getting off-topic. BYEEEE.

That happens to me too, Ash. XDD
Chapter 6: A Shadowed Figure of the Past
All the soldiers who were in the barrier, Shade, Jake, Florence, and Josh were just staring at what was once Riore. The giant shockwave of green made a huge circle of bright sand and inside it, there was nothing. No soldiers in the circle, no buildings, no paths, just the sand. The general who commanded the tanks and soldiers was also gone from the shockwave too.
“I thought I was dead, but what just happened here?” a soldier asked in surprise, on his knees and both hands on the floor.
“Pull yourself together; gather up all of the survivors.” Shade just said. He started running out with the other three and they were now in the general middle of what was Riore.
“Hello!?” all four of them called out at different times twice. They looked at a dune in what seemed to be the exact middle of the light sand.
“I got it.” Josh replied, walking over and putting his hands out, shooting wind from them and revealing something shining and green, a giant crystal; THE giant crystal. They all gasped after Josh had blown the sand off of it and Josh had walked closer. The green crystal automatically floated in the air and then rammed into Josh.
“Josh!!” the three of them yelled, running closer until Josh was floating in the air. His military outfit had ripped off and his normal clothes were back on, but he was encased with many, many shards of the crystal all over his body.
“Oh… what…?” he muttered, falling to his side before he quickly got up and looked all over his body.
“So now you get to see the green crystal,” a female voice, Lust, as she was watching them. Lust’s right hand was just on her hip as she talked to them, “and lucky you, you’ve become the master of it.”
“What do you mean…?” Florence asked cautiously. Lust ignored her comment, however.
“You should go… it won’t be long before everyone’s after you; my colleagues and the military.”
”What about you? I thought you were after the stone too.” added Jake in question, but Lust just replied with a little smile on her face.
“Oh…” Josh muttered, untying something that was around his neck and putting it around his right hand. It was the locket that made Lust pass out before when she and Gluttony had encountered them in the city. Without answering, Lust set down her right arm and slowly started walking off.
“Come on, everyone…” Shade muttered, turning into his dragon form. Florence hopped onto his back and started flying off.
“What am I?” Josh asked Jake, who turned into his dragon form.
“Come on, I’ll explain on the way.” answered Jake before Josh went onto his back and they started flying behind Shade.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“I hate this uniform.”
“It’s hot, what do you expect!”
“I don’t like going undercover…”
“We have to find them though… any other plans?”
“Well… no.”
Spud and Trixie had snuck into the area of Riore and found out about the shockwave. Spud was the one complaining to Trixie. A soldier walked up to them and saluted and walked off, behind him being the Emperor.
“Isn’t that the guy who…?” mumbled Spud, but Trixie saluted. Spud slowly did at the same time and they both lowered their arms.
“So far, we have 28 confirmed dead and 67 injured, including 5 officers. There’s another 900 still missing, and I assure you, we will get to the bottom of this.” Trixie explained to the Emperor. She was on the left of Spud.
“And that is clearly not going to be discovered unless you find the one responsible for all of this.” the Emperor explained.
“That Huntsclan survivor… Adlez the Huntsking.” Spud simply answered.
“No. I mean the American Dragon. Don’t forget his companions, the Frozen Dragon, the infamous Huntslass, and the elf that was in the military.” the Emperor said. Spud and Trixie’s eyes simply widened out of shock, “Can you tell me why they showed up in Riore?”
“We believe it was in the pursuit of Adlez or following after one of their friends, sir.” Spud answered.
“You’re going to put them up in the wanted list before you know what actually happened?” asked Trixie in surprise. Spud just put his right hand out in front of Trixie to stop her from talking more.
“I think we should interrogate them before we jump to conclusions.” the boy suggested to the Emperor.
“That seems fine… but if you let them get away, you’ll have to explain to me. Treat them as your combatants, if you have any past recollections with them, erase them now.” answered the Emperor as he turned and started to walk away.
A while off, Pride was now on a train and walked toward the back, opening it up and going in. Inside was Gluttony just standing there with worry. A large water drop fell from the ceiling of the room and Sloth got back into her black hair/black dress outfit. The three of them were looking at the wall, where Lust was on the wall with her eyes closed and a metal bar through her homunculus tattoo and four red marks on her arms and back of her hands.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Back at the border of New York, the four fugitives landed. Josh was now wearing a large cloak that covered his whole body to hide the numerous, green crystals stuck all over his body.
“We all need to tell our families about what’s happening, so split up and meet up next to the cemetery near Central Park.” Jake said. Shade, Josh, and Florence nodded and ran off to their individual corners.
(A/N: Like before, no need to explain this to scene because it’s time consuming and it’d be pointless for you to read it.)
Back at the general area of the cemetery, Shade was there first, they had all explained on where they were going for the night and turned to hear someone stepping around at the cemetery.
“Who would that be? It’s almost nighttime.” wondered Florence as she took a close look at the man. Shade glared at this person and walked into the cemetery without muttering a word of response. The man was just staring at the grave in front of him and then looked up at Shade when he heard him behind him. He wore a large, brown trench coat with glasses on his face and messy, light blue hair that was in the brink of being a white/grey color.
“Are you who I think you are?” the strange man asked Shade, who had his face down but staring at his face.
“I think we both know the answer to that…” Shade answered, turning his face back up at him, the man lowering his head and letting out a quiet sigh. Florence, Josh, and Jake had gotten closer to hear the conversation as well, “… Van Hohenheim.” They all gasped at hearing this last comment.
“So you know…” simply answered Hohenheim, looking up but keeping his sorrowed face. Florence just ran up to Shade and looked at him.
“Is that man really your grandfather?” Florence asked Shade, who didn’t answer and nodded as he turned his back to Hohenheim.
“I just had to come here to check up on things… once I had heard about the bounty on your heads, I knew you’d run here… and I thought I should give you advice.” answered the old man. It was surprising, because he didn’t have any wrinkles or a sign of his age.
“Advice? For what?” wondered Jake as he and Josh ran over as well to get closer. Hohenheim looked at the two new people in the conversation with his reply.
“Those monsters that call themselves homunculi. Well, they can’t be killed by normal means, and made when a person fails trying to recreate life…” Hohenheim began, but Shade simply cut in.
“We all know that already… any new news?” he asked, crossing his arms. After a long pause Hohenheim closed his eye in a sigh.
“No. I… just didn’t know you knew so much.” Hohenheim breathed as he turned away from the four of them again and slowly walked off. Shade just continued to glare at his grandfather as he was leaving.
“I don’t think he was here to ‘check on things’ and ‘tell us about the homunculi’…” muttered Shade as he was in mid-thought.
“Then why do you think he was here?” Florence asked as she ran next to Shade. He simply looked down and closed his eyes.
“He could be…” Shade’s voice simply trailed off and he suddenly shot up and saw Hohenheim gone, “Come on, I think we should leave New York, in case the military shows up.” Florence nodded and they all walked back to Central Park.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Back at Magus Bazaar, Lyla and Elaine were at a downtown area in an alley with some homeless people watching them. Elaine was looking back and forth from left to right at the people watching them.
“Something wrong?” Lyla asked, looking back a little as they continued walking.
“I was just wondering if the others got away safely.” murmured Elaine as her eyes looked down slightly.
“Throughout Africa, there are many diversified cultures in which to blend in with, I’m sure they headed there…” explained the dragon, making Elaine grow a little smile on her face, “You, however, are considered responsible for the revolt in Riore. They’ll be looking for you.” Elaine sighed and looked to the side. They had now reached a broken down church with many broken windows and no one inside.
“It looks like a temple the people in Riore worshiped…” Elaine whispered before they entered. The window in the back that was shattered slowly started fixing itself as Lyla raised her hands. A marking glowed on the mirror and a block moved, revealing a secret passageway.
“Dante taught me a few new things…” Lyla muttered, noticing Elaine’s surprised look and she just went back to her content look as they went down the secret staircase. After a little while of going through, Lyla had been looking ahead and heard Elaine’s brother crying and her eyes moved behind her.
“Hush, hush now, darling. We’re almost there.” muttered Elaine to her baby brother and rocked him back and forth in her arms. Lyla simply nodded as they continued to walk along the trail that was no longer going down, but it was a place with broken statues and water flowing from the walls.

There we are, finally. Chapter 6 isn’t all that good, I told that to everyone, but chapter 7 is going to be very good, so something to look forward to. Enjoy! XP

Haha, I'm the first one to review. Good chapter. Obviously not very exciting, but you already told us it wouldn't be. I like the scene you set up at the end of the chapter... it sounds pretty sweet. This is all I have for now. Update soon!

Well since Kevin has been the only one to reply, yay him.
Chapter 7: Eternal
In a new area, Lust was stuck in the wall with metallic poles stabbed through her homunculus mark, the inside of her elbows, and the back of her hands. Gluttony was on the floor next to her, whimpering and moaning while Sloth strolled back and forth on the wooden floor. Wrath was on a cabinet and just grinning as he watched Lust.
“Why did you let them go?” Sloth asked Lust as she continued to walk back and forth in front of Lust.
“I believe taking care of those children was your responsibility, yours and Wrath’s, that is.” answered Lust as she looked up at Sloth.
“Don’t worry about that, I’ll do it soon.” Wrath answered, putting his hands to his feet that were together in a slight cross-legged position. He continued to grin and looked at Lust as Sloth stopped pacing and turned to Lust.
“But we didn’t go against the direct orders of our master.” continued Sloth.
“I thought you of all people would understand my actions.” Lust replied. Sloth’s face saddened and she looked down, seeing Gluttony’s frightened face, since he was obvious worried about Lust.
“I do understand; you wish to be human. You think that you’re the only one? We were all born with that goal in our mind…” Sloth finally said, turning to Wrath, who leaped to her feet and ran to Sloth, taking her arm and walking up the steps that were there. Gluttony sighed slowly and in a mourning tone.
After a while, Gluttony shot from Lust to viewing the door.
“Someone’s coming, Lust!” Gluttony whispered in fear. His tiny eyes just glared at the rumbling, regal door.
“Don’t worry, Gluttony,” Lust simply answered with a nice smile, as to calm Gluttony down, “This place is--” she cut off once she saw the door glowing and then burst open. Once it had opened, it revealed Hohenheim, with a stern look as he walked a few feet away from the door.
“Who’s that…?” muttered Gluttony in question as he watching Hohenheim in worry after all the smoke had vanished. Suddenly, Lyla appeared from the other side of the stairs where Sloth and Wrath had gone upstairs.
“I welcome you here, sir. Unfortunately, my master is out.” Lyla explained, her eyes closed and bowing at the powerful man.
“So… Lyla is this body’s name, is it?” wondered Van Hohenheim as Lyla slowly went back up in her straight form and gave him a look with her eyes half open.
“I’m impressed that you know that much, my Hohenheim,” Lyla said, turning her head back a little with a grinning and evil expression, “Nice to know you’ve been thinking of me while you were away.”
“You are acting a little obvious… but I heard your name from another.” Hohenheim muttered as he continued to watch Lyla, whose head changed from a crooked motion and a grin to her face staring back down at Hohenheim as she gave him an evil glare.
“Have you come with noble aspirations to save me?” asked Lyla.
“No, not this time, Dante.”
(A/N: Dun, dun, dun! This is probably the best reason why I like this chapter, the surprises. If you’re confused, like how could Lyla have been Dante if she wasn’t talking to Greed before, you’ll find out.)
“Gluttony!!” barked Dante as he hair rocked up a tiny bit in her shrill voice.
“Raaaahhhh!!!!!!” Gluttony charged at Hohenheim, his tongue sticking out as he ran along, showing his homunculus mark on his tongue. With Gluttony’s crazed babbling, Hohenheim just watched Gluttony and put his hands out to his side, suddenly shrouding the whole area around him in multiple ice spikes. Before Gluttony hit the spikes, he flew into the air and rolled backwards next to Lust, again, “Scary.” he muttered, looking down and covering his head.
“That man looks like he has the same powers as Shade…” Lust muttered as she watched Hohenheim defending himself with tremendous power.
“There’s no need to worry, Gluttony…” Dante told Gluttony as she walked down the stairs, but not too far off from where she got off the stairs, “He’s spent too much time in that body he’s wearing; I’m sure… he’s worn out.” Dante’s left hand moved ahead a little and blue sparks hit the floor and created stone monsters from the floor that roared at Hohenheim. However, Hohenheim had already countered with ice creatures that looked like angels, mostly Shade’s light form.
“Indeed, I am worn out, but that means you’re feeling your years, aren’t you!?” Hohenheim’s calming voice suddenly turned to frustration as his right hand darted ahead as a tiny ice dart shot at Dante’s red dress, ripping through a little of it. It had revealed some of Dante’s skin… but it was red and looked like rust, “You may hide your decaying body with clothes, but your masking scent betrays your lie.” she moved her right arm to the torn bit of clothing to cover it.
“Like you, Hohenheim?” recoiled Dante. Lust had just been watching all this in shock while Gluttony was scared of both Dante and Hohenheim to do anything.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
The gang had landed near the New York border at a small cabin area.
“Why did we stop here?” Florence asked as she looked around at the barren area. Shade sighed slowly and looked at the cabin.
“Josh has been found the master of the crystal, and I am mainly on blame, so we think it’d be best if…” Shade began slowly, looking down and closing his eyes because he couldn’t finish.
“If you and Jake could just stay in there… until this passes over.” finished Josh as he looked past his right shoulder, watching his cloak blowing with the wind.
“We can’t just stay in there forever!” yelled Jake in response.
“You won’t be, since there’s a little surprise in there.” Josh finished with a little grin on his face. He turned to Shade who simply turned into his dragon form.
“Wait!” quickly replied Florence as she ran to Shade. She took his chin with her right hand and kissed him on the cheek, making Shade smile and blush a little. Florence giggled and waved to Shade after he had gotten into the air and started flying off with Josh.
“So… let’s go inside.” Jake muttered as he opened the door and then closed it. It looked like a broom closet until the floor suddenly lowered once Jake and Florence were in the middle and a new floor covered them.
“So, you finally made it?” a female voice asked as she turned to Jake and Florence. It was Toph, with her usual grin and controlling the earthen ground to lower them like they were in an elevator. They just gasped with a smile and laughed at the sight of Toph.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“Dante… I want you to stop using my grandson as a pawn in your malicious game. In exchange for that promise, I will tell you the reason your new body is rotting, too.” Hohenheim muttered, seeing Dante clutch tight at the spot he revealed her decaying skin. Dante simply let out a little chuckle.
“Perhaps, but it’s been centuries since our last meeting, Hohenheim. We’ll have plenty of time to talk later.” answered Dante as she moved her right arm away from where her clothing was slightly torn and rolled up her right arm sleeve to her elbow and started rubbing the soft skin with her left fingers, “Right now, why don’t you help me enjoy this new body…”
“Sorry, but I have a wife.” Hohenheim replied, seeing Dante turn her eyes back to him.
“So?” she asked, moving her arms into a shrug, “I was married as well, wasn’t I?” Dante looked up and moved her arms out straight from her sides, “Again, and again, and again, after all, if I stayed with one of them, they would have noticed my slowly aging body and our secret would be up.” Dante had now started spinning around while staring up at the ceiling.
“That’s where we’re different…” Hohenheim made Dante stop spinning with her back against Hohenheim, “Marissa was my first and my last; the only woman I ever really loved.” After her angry face subsided, she turned to Hohenheim again.
“How odd. Four hundred years ago, when we first met, back when I was still an innocent, you whispered words of love to me… or do my memories deceive me?” The eyes of Shade’s grandfather closed and he looked down.
“No, they don’t.” was his simple answer. Dante continued to just stare at Hohenheim until she started talking again,
“On that day, four hundred years ago, we’d finally achieved our goal.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo[400 years ago]oOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
What looked like Hohenheim was standing in a blank area with what looked like Dante and some other man behind him. All around them were people in cages or capsules.
“By using the lives of those sentenced to hang during the witch hunts and those dying of the plague and trying so many times… we finally grasped it… the green stone.” narrated present Dante as Hohenheim placed his hands on the floor. This caused the capsules to glow green and an overview of the area showing the same mark in Riore. After all of the green shining, all the people were gone, except Hohenheim, Dante, and the man next to Dante. As the crystal slowly lowered from Hohenheim’s arms, he fell backwards. Dante gasped and ran over
“But the effects of the crystal took its toll on you… you were dying.” continued Dante. Flashback Dante held onto the green crystal in her hand and leapt to her feet as she charged at the man who was previously standing next to her.
“On sheer impulse, I attached your soul to the body of another man…” Dante’s voice began to tremble. In the flashback, Dante was holding the glowing crystal close to her neck as tears and hair was flowing while she ran to the man. Next thing after a giant, green flash, Dante was holding onto the hand of the man who now had Hohenheim’s soul.
“And it was then that we discovered eternal life…” Dante’s trembling voice turned to a whisper now.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“So by using that green crystal, you transplanted your souls again and again.” cut in Lust as she was watching Dante.
“Yes… that’s right.” she answered, making Lust’s eyes shrink.
“Why did you have us find someone to make the crystal if you already had one!?” Lust darted her head forward as she asked the question.
“After Van Hohenheim left my side, I needed a new crystal and I didn’t know how to make one on my own. THAT’S why.” Dante replied as she looked to Lust. Her view shot from Lust to Hohenheim again, “Tell me, why did you leave, wasn’t eternal life enough for you?” Hohenheim opened his eyes and looked up at her.
“Dante, there’s no such thing as eternal life.”
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“So, where is this?” Jake asked Toph as they were being lead through an underground area with many trains.
“This is the Underground Railroad, and has been here for a long time.” Toph answered as she looked around the area and stopped in front of a place that looked like a desk to buy tickets at subways.
“Underground Railroad… that’s the name of Harriet Tubman’s service. Is there any relation?” realized Florence as she turned down to Toph, who handed them each tickets and nodded.
“She actually led both the slave Underground Railroad and this Underground Railroad. Magical slaves were even more obvious in the public, so this place was made so that they could live in places like Magus Bazaar.” Toph explained to them and took them to a train and went in.
“Are we going there?”
“Yes. I’ve been here helping people until you were to show up and we go to the military HQ at the Magus Bazaar.” continued Toph as they got to their seats and sat down.
“We’ll need disguises, though.” muttered Florence as she looked out the window and watched other trains leave the station.
“And what about Spud and Trixie?” Jake now asked.
“We haven’t heard from them in a while, so we aren’t sure.” Toph answered while their train slowly started leaving the underground station and going into another tunnel.
“I guess that we’re on our way, then.” Florence looked down at her right hand and then out the window next to her, watching the trees simply roll by as the train chugged along tracks.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
“How can my soul… be rotting?” Dante asked Hohenheim. Her right hand was on the spot where her skin was decaying.
“Not even souls are invincible. Each time we leap to another body, we leave a little strength behind… now our souls no longer have the energy to maintain another body. You have to face the truth, Dante, that’s how we’re going to die.” explained Hohenheim while Dante clutched the ripped fabric she covered with her right hand.
“I won’t die. As long as I still have the crystal, I’ll transfer to another body.” Dante answered as her angered expression turned to a content look.
“And pretty soon that body will rot as well, and the next one will go even quicker.” a smile was on Hohenheim’s face now.
“And then I’ll transfer into another body.” she took a step forward with her left hand in a fist and a grin glaring at Hohenheim, who let out a little chuckle.
“And what about the green crystal, how will you keep transferring your soul?” he asked, “I’m sure you used up the small fragment I left you.” Dante let out a laugh as well and took a step back.
“I forgot you haven’t been keeping up. Thanks to a clever Huntsclan member and a decade’s worth of labor, one of your grandson’s friends has been turned into a green crystal.” Dante told Hohenheim, making his eyes widen and making him gasp.
“You tricked me! So you were supporting Adlez this entire time?” the female homunculus barked at Dante, who let out a little laugh as she shrugged her arms and then let out a sigh as she put the back of her left hand on her hip.
“You really don’t understand…” Hohenheim walked slowly towards Dante and through the damage due to when they had been fighting. Until hearing the footsteps of someone behind her, Dante watched Hohenheim with a smile. Her view changed to the person going down the steps, who was holding the child Elaine had. Hohenheim gasped when he saw the figure because it was Sloth, the homunculus that held the face of Marissa, his wife. So startled, Hohenheim did nothing but stand there and thinking of all the times he had shared with Marissa. At this time, Sloth used her powers to encase Hohenheim in water and looked at him. The child that was in her arms was now caressed in Dante’s left arm.
“I’ve been doing some research since you’ve been gone,” Dante said as she was now walking to Hohenheim, “trying to learn more about the Mirror of Spirits that was destroyed by the Gods not too long ago. It’s also the place where most dragons had left and came to the human world.”
(A/N: SoP reference. XP)
“I’ve discovered some fascinating things, Hohenheim…” Dante brushed her right hand through the child’s soft hair and then back to her sides, “Would you like to know what lies beyond the Mirror after all of these years? You can’t tell me you haven’t been just a little bit curious.” Suddenly, the child started crying loudly as Dante’s right hand went to holding the baby now, “Did you know that part of the Mirror actually exists within all of us?” continued Dante.
“Hmm…” Hohenheim muttered, his hopeless face changing its view from Sloth’s face to Dante and the child in her arms.
“As our consciousness matures and we grow more attached to this world, we lose our awareness of it.” Dante had now stopped walking, for she was standing in front of Hohenheim, “But by using someone whose link is still strong, like a baby, the Mirror can be summoned.” her right hand moved away from the child and was on Hohenheim’s left cheek. “I’m going to show you, my darling… see for yourself what is beyond the Mirror.” the sheet covering the child was ripped off, showing a mark on the baby’s chest. Dante chucked the child into the air and raised her right hand and a blue shot pierced the baby from her index and middle fingers.
“I’m going back there again…” Hohenheim muttered as he looked at the giant Mirror right in front of him. It glowed white as it usually did and moved down to look at Hohenheim. Once the Mirror had been glowing a while, a white reflection hit him. From his feet up, he started pixilating and going into the Mirror, “I know you’ll defeat her, Shade…” he got to say before he had finally gone.
“AHHH!!!!” the voice of a boy echoed as the Mirror had slowly vanished. Wrath ran towards Dante and Sloth, “Shut it, shut it, shut it!” he screamed while holding his head. Before he could run into Dante, who held the child in its blanket again, Sloth caught him and watched Wrath as he cried on her stomach.
“It’s alright, Wrath. I promise you’re not going to go through that mirror anymore.” Dante told Wrath, who looked at Sloth and then buried his face in her arms again, “Bring me that green crystal now, Sloth. Go, take him… and her.” Dante turned her view to Lust, whose face was saddened. Next, blue lightning shot through the five poles keeping her on the wall and she fell to the floor on her hands and knees.
“Why should we? Just so you can be reincarnated again?” Lust asked, her eyes lowered halfway and she was sweating.
“Once I have the crystal and transfer my soul into another body, I’ll finally be able to turn all of you into human beings. Of course, that will depend on your performance… won’t it?” she smiled at them evilly and then turned as she walked off. Gluttony, still very frightened, kept looking back from Dante to Lust.
As Dante walked away from where she sent Hohenheim to the Twilight Realm she made two doppelgangers.
“I can see why dragons like their powers so much… I even got to use it to trick Greed into thinking it wasn’t me.” Dante muttered to herself before she entered the room now in front of her.
(A/N: If you forgot, refer to chapter 2.)
Inside, Elaine was sitting there in a purple dress with a tea set up on the desk in front of her as she was looking outside the window. She turned to Dante as she came in.
“Here we are.” muttered Dante as she placed Elaine’s brother on her lap. Elaine let out a breath of happiness and put the child close to her. Dante put her right hand past most of her pink hair and rubbed her right cheek. She watched Elaine with her purple eyes, “You need to eat more, dear. If you don’t gain some weight, you won’t fit very well in my dresses.”
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
You know what that means, don’t ya? This is one of the best chapters in the fan-fic, so leave a nice comment. ;>

OH NO. D: Elaine is gonna be Dante skin?! LOL. Then again, what do I know?! EVIL STUPIDITY. And poor Lyla. To be used in that sort of manner. Hmph. Hmmm... well, anyway, those last two chapters were pretty sweet. A bit poignant if you ask me. Especially with the four hundred years ago flashback about eternal life. Pretty interesting how it shows the disadvantages in advantages and certain privileges? I guess. I also liked the fact how we get the whole Toph thing again. Kind of ironic too, since you brought her back the day after the second episode of the new Avatar season. Or is that just me? I dunno. What else should I say? Ummm, well, nicely done. As always. Ahahaha. I like this. And you're right. Chapter seven is the awesomeness, just as chapter six was. Whee. And wow, it's midnight, I'm sleepy. I STILL FEEL STUPID.
