Thanks for the compliment! Here are two more chapters!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 56: Torn Apart
Jake and Rose heard a scream from far away. Jake looked at Rose with a worried look. “Go ahead and check it out. I don’t want to risk losing the baby,” she said. Jake nodded and flew off to the source of the scream. He looked below him, seeing if there was any abnormal activity occurring. He then saw a forest up ahead and he flew towards it to check it out.
Dave held onto Sarah as the Shade advanced on them. “Stay back!” Dave said. He then realized he had to do something or there lives would be in danger. He jumped up and jumped at the Shade, transforming his arms into dragon arms on the way. He went to slash at the Shade but it jumped out of the way and it jumped at Sarah. Dave turned to see the most horrific sight of his life. The Shade slashed Sarah multiple times, causing blood to go flying everywhere. Before Dave could attack, a fireball came seemingly out of nowhere and destroyed the Shade. He ran to Sarah and held her in his arms while Jake landed behind him.
Dave turned only for a moment to see that it was Jake and he looked at Sarah. “She is losing too much blood,” he said. “Dave...honey...I’m sorry,” Sarah said weakly. Dave held her close to him. “Don’t be sorry. You will be fine,” he said. “Don’t lie to me Dave. I know I am as good as dead,” she said. “No Sarah. You’ll pull through this, I promise!” Dave told her. “I love you Dave,” Sarah said and then kissed him on the lips before she died in his arms. “Sarah!” Dave said sharply, shaking her lightly. “SARAH!” he screamed and tears started to fall. “I love you Sarah!” he yelled and kissed her. Jake walked over and placed a hand on Dave’s shoulder. “Come on, we need to get out of here,” he said. Dave didn’t respond but after a moment, he climbed onto Jake’s back, holding onto Sarah’s body.
They arrived at the council building and Dave climbed off Jake’s back and carried Sarah into the building. People who were standing on the stairs talking gasped as they saw Dave carrying the body of Sarah. Dave had a look of pure anger on his face as he walked to the council table and laid Sarah’s body on it. “Dave! What happened?!” Andam asked. “The Dark Dragon will PAY!” Dave said, yelling the last word, tears still coming down his face.
---------------------
Never had I read or written a chapter that brought about this much sadness in me.

Chapter 57: Tears of Revenge
Dave laid in his bed, tears still coming down his face. When he became a councilor, they gave him his own house on the Isle of Draco which was fully furnished. Dave was kind enough to give Jake and Rose a room there and he had a guest room for anyone that came to stay the night. He hit the bed angrily, thinking how Sarah and him could of had a perfect life together, sleeping in that very bed together. He wanted to scream to let all of his feelings out. In fact, some of the tears he shed were not over sadness but his burning desire to get revenge on the dragon responsible for killing the one he loved.
Jake entered Dave’s room without knocking and walked over to him and sat at the edge of his bed. “How are you holding up?” Jake asked softly. “I am horrible,” Dave said. “I wish I could do something for you,” Jake told him. “There is. I want to get revenge on the Dark Dragon. He took away my life. He took away the woman I loved! HE TOOK MY CHILD!” Dave said, screaming the last sentence out before new tears came. “I was supposed to be a father,” Dave sobbed. Jake gave Dave a small hug. “I am sorry about your loses and I promise, I will help you get the revenge you seek,” Jake told him. “Really?” Dave asked. “Yes, what else are twins for?” Jake asked with a small smile. “Thanks,” Dave said, before he gave Jake a hug back.
---------------------------
Sorry that this chapter was short. I just wanted to wrap up most of Dave's sadness and give a little more detail about why Dave and the others hasn't left the Isle in three weeks.

I couldn't sleep so I decided to write another chapter. This one shows Dave's anger big time.
--------------------------------------------
Chapter 58: Embracing The Darkness
Dave walked onto the field he had set up. It was only five in the morning and everyone was still asleep. He closed his eyes and picked up his sword that was originally the Dark Dragon’s. He opened his eyes and started attacking statues of the Dark Dragon that he put up. The first one was cut through the heart and the second one was completely decapitated. Dave angrily cut off the arms before kicking down the third one. He then proceeded to the fourth one where he cut it vertically and then shot fire at it, destroying it. He continued to fight the remaining statues, letting his anger take hold of him. He also wasn’t aware of the three other councilors watching him. “He is letting his anger take hold of him,” Kulde said.
*That night*
Dave tossed and turned with bitter tears running down his face as he thought of Sarah. ‘You aren’t here with me anymore,’ he thought with more tears running down his face. “That bastard will pay! I promise!” he said angrily, thinking of how the Shade killed Sarah. He hit his bed angrily and turned to face the wall with more tears of anger and sadness going down his face. From the doorway which was partly opened, Rose and Jake were looking in. “I am worried for him Jake,” Rose said softly. Jake nodded and then held onto Rose as they went back to their room.
*The Next Morning*
Dave was up earlier the next morning. He was at the building where the test of Judgment in Fire was held. It was only three in the morning. He got his sword ready as ice sculptures of the Dark Dragon appeared just like Dave asked Kulde to do for him. Dave struck out angrily and didn’t even think as he took down the sculptures, cutting off as many icy limbs as he could get and shot fire at some of them. Dave kept this up for a few hours and finally threw his sword at the final sculpture, the sword going straight through its head before becoming stuck in the wall. Dave grabbed the sword and left angrily.
*Later that day*
Kulde, Andam, and Laoshi watched as Dave fought with Jake, aggressively attacking his brother. They just shook their heads as Dave fought savagely against his own brother while Jake was trying to avoid his attacks with some worry. “I can’t watch this anymore,” Laoshi said. “STOP!” Laoshi yelled out. Dave and Jake stopped and landed on the ground. Dave glared at Laoshi before heading to his house. “What is up with Dave G?” Jake asked Laoshi. “I am worried about him,” was all that Laoshi said.
*At the house*
“I swear I will get revenge for you Sarah, I will defeat the Dark Dragon!” Dave yelled, throwing an old picture of him and Sarah onto his bed.
-------------------------------------------
In case you are wondering why I called this chapter "Embracing The Darkness", it is because Dave is giving into the darkness in him which will be explained in a later chapter.

Chapter 59: Council Meeting
Dave walked into the council building the next morning to see the three other councilors already sitting down. Dave walked over to them and took his seat. “We need to have a brief meeting,” Laoshi said. “What is it?” Dave asked. “It is about the Dark Dragon,” Andam said. Dave quickly stood up. “Where is he?” Dave asked. “That is what we need to discuss,” Kulde said. Dave took his seat again and tried to relax. “Dave, we know that you are angry at the Dark Dragon for what he has done, but you can not let your anger control you and cause you to fight without judgment,” Laoshi said.
Dave sighed. “I know that you are worried for me but I know what I am doing,” he said. “Dave, we have seen what you have done to several statues and by inspecting some of my remaining ice sculptures of the Dark Dragon, you used anger and not judgment,” Kulde said. Dave just looked away and said, “I am sorry, but I guess I have been mad recently.” “Young one, we are just concerned for you,” Laoshi said. “I know Gramps, I understand,” Dave said. “Now, the funeral for Sarah Jackson shall be held tomorrow at noon, is that fine with you Dave?” Andam asked. “That is fine with me,” was all that Dave said before he stood up. “Where are you going?” Laoshi asked. “I need to go for a walk,” Dave said and walked out of the councilors’ building. “I am honestly worried for him still,” Andam said. Dave walked down the steps before he saw other dragons training. ‘They are going on like nothing happened,’ he thought bitterly before he transformed and flew around. It was finally nightfall before he returned. He flew back to the councilors’ building and walked in to find it empty. He sighed and headed home. He was exhausted from flying and he decided to get some rest before the funeral the next day.
He arrived at his house and looked at the picture of him and Sarah again. He held back his tears this time but they were replaced by anger. “Why did you have to die?! Why did he choose you?!” he asked angrily before slamming the picture down and crawling into bed where angry thoughts ruled his mind before he fell to sleep.

Thanks for the reviews. Here is the funeral chapter. ----------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 60: Funeral Troubles
Dave slept until ten the next morning. When he finally got up, he realized that the funeral for Sarah was that day. He walked in mourning to the council building to find it empty again. He sighed and walked to a building where Sarah’s body was being held at. He walked in to see Sarah’s body on a table, dressed in a beautiful white dress. “She looks like she is getting married,” Dave said softly, walking to her body. He found himself sitting next to her, stroking her hair.
Laoshi and the two other councilors arrived at the building where Dave was, dressed in clothing appropriate for a funeral. They saw Dave sitting down, stroking Sarah’s hair before he got up slowly and gave her a kiss. Andam sighed and Laoshi said, “He still can’t get over losing her.” They walked in and Kulde placed a hand on Dave’s shoulder. Dave looked at him and the four of them walked out of the building and went to the burial grounds where Dave asked for Sarah to be buried. Fortunately, he was granted to have Sarah buried on the Isle of Draco even though she wasn’t a dragon.
They sat down but Dave got up again and walked off. “Where is he going?” Kulde asked. “I think I have an idea,” Laoshi said. He didn’t return when mostly everyone was seated. The funeral was then started with the casket with Sarah’s body being brought in. Laoshi gave a small smile when he saw Dave walking behind the carriers of the casket. They put the casket on top of a small table and Dave looked out at the crowd with some tears in his eyes.
“Sarah Jackson. She was a beautiful and wonderful girl. I loved her very much. We were expecting a child before she was cut down by a servant of the Dark Dragon. I promised her that I would avenge her death and that is a promise I am going to keep,” Dave started. But, before he could go further, a crashing noise was heard along with a shout. The Dark Dragon then appeared. “You decided to show your ugly face?!” Dave yelled and then Jake and Rose stood up and held onto one of Dave’s arms each. “Let me go!” Dave yelled. “Let me kill that son of a bi*ch!” Dave yelled. They continued to hold him back while the Dark Dragon smiled. “You want me? Come get me!” the Dark Dragon yelled and took flight. Dave growled and transformed, causing Jake and Rose to let go of his arms. Dave flew after him when his judgment finally came to him. “This is reckless, I need help,” he said before turning back and flying back to the funeral site where people were still panicking.
“Do not panic. We are going to finish this funeral and then move on to the problem about the Dark Dragon,” Dave said. The funeral then continued. Not many people could say things about Sarah even though Jake, Rose, and Laoshi came up to pay their respects to Sarah. Then, there was a brief viewing of Sarah’s body before it was carried to the hole that was dug for her. As the casket was slowly lowered, Dave finally let his tears flow while Rose held onto Jake, her own tears coming down. Once the casket was in the hole, the dirt was replaced and leveled. Dave walked to the tombstone that was made for Sarah and pulled out a rose that he had found for her. He placed it on the dirt and said, “I love you Sarah. We will see each other again one day.”

Here is the last update until later tonight!
-----------------------------------------------------
Chapter 61: Origin Of Darkness
Dave stayed at Sarah’s grave even after everyone had left. Dave continued to stare at the tombstone and kneeled to the ground, placing his hand on the rose that he left for Sarah. “My anger is consuming me. I am giving in to the darkness within me but, I don’t know where that darkness came from,” Dave said. “That darkness came from me,” a deep voice said from behind Dave. Dave turned to see the Dark Dragon. “You have some nerve coming back here after I buried the woman I love,” Dave told him. “You want to know where your darkness came from? I can tell you,” the Dark Dragon continued as if Dave didn’t say anything.
“Tell me,” Dave said, standing up. “As you know, you grew up with me,” the Dark Dragon started. “Yes, something I wish I could change,” Dave said. “That is hurtful,” the Dark Dragon said sarcastically. Dave just glared at him as the Dark Dragon continued, “Well, I had you since you were born. I took you in as you were my brother and because I wanted to raise you right.” “Raise me right? You lied to me for most of my life,” Dave said to him. “I had to disguise myself. You know I am not the most loved dragon in the world,” the Dark Dragon said. “What does this have to do with darkness in me?” Dave asked.
“You know that cradle which I raised my own child in?” the Dark Dragon asked. “Yes,” Dave said. “I raised you in that very same cradle when you were a baby,” the Dark Dragon told him. “The cradle?” Dave asked. “That is the source of darkness. That is where the baby is getting its dark magic from and where you received your own darkness from,” the Dark Dragon told him. “The dragon’s cradle,” Dave said softly. “Exactly,” the Dark Dragon said. “How could you? Why did you do this to me?!” Dave exploded. “I wanted you to live a perfect life but you ran with that bimbo to New York City! You stayed there with your own twin even though you didn’t know it. The life I tried to build for you was shattered by them!” the Dark Dragon roared. “So, you are regretting letting me go,” Dave said. “Very much so,” the Dark Dragon said. Dave walked towards the Dark Dragon. “So, you want another chance?” Dave asked. “I could never get that,” the Dark Dragon growled angrily. “Yes you can. I am going to give you one last chance to raise me the way you want to,” Dave said.

Chapter 62: Gathering An Army
“Really? You will give me that chance?” the Dark Dragon asked. “Yes,” Dave said softly and then gave an evil smile, “In the afterlife!” Dave struck out with the sword he kept hidden and the Dark Dragon moved out of the way. “Curse you!” the Dark Dragon yelled. Dave smiled at the Dark Dragon who was now in flight. “So, you fell for it?” Dave asked. “You will pay dragon!” the Dark Dragon yelled and flew off. “Coward,” Dave said and went to the council building, still wearing a smile on his face. “What are you happy about?” Laoshi asked suspiciously. “I just fought the Dark Dragon,” Dave said. “You what?!” Laoshi almost exploded. “I tricked him,” Dave said looking at the corner and seeing the cradle with Aaron in it. “NO!” Dave yelled and ran to the baby and picked him up.
“What is wrong?” Kulde asked. “This cradle, it is the source of darkness,” Dave said to him, holding the baby as close to him as possible. The other councilors walked to the cradle and looked at it. “You must destroy it immediately!” Dave said. “i wouldn’t do that if I were you,” a voice belonging to a female said from the other side of the room. They all turned to see Chang. “Grandma,” Dave whispered. “Chang!” Kulde and Andam said angrily. “Chang,” Laoshi said softly. “Give me my grandson and my son,” Chang said, slowly approaching them. “No, you won’t get us,” Dave said, slowly backing away until he hit a wall.
“Chang, please stop this,” Laoshi said softly, looking at the woman he loved. “Laoshi, I have to do this,” Chang said. “No, you don’t,” Laoshi said to her, approaching her. Dave stared and prayed nothing would happen to his grandfather. “You can take me instead,” Laoshi said. “No!” Dave, Andam, and Kulde yelled. “Excellent, the man I love wants to be with me,” Chang said, reaching down to touch Laoshi’s face. Chang transformed and Laoshi transformed with her before they flew off. “Something is wrong here! He wouldn’t do something like that!” Dave yelled. “We got to get an army of strong dragons together,” Andam said. “I’ll go spread the news now,” Kulde said, leaving the building.
