Author's Note: So, Ash made a little skit... about Emi being a matchmaker for Lewis and Ash. She wanted me to make a oneshot about so, Ash. This is for you... and probably the only story I will have written on this board. XD
What REALLY Happened With Those Two
"...and then Mr. Graves had the nerve to give me a C on my test!" The cafeteria was filled with the kids from the High School eating their lunches. Emi Halifax was explaining to her friend Ash about how much of a jerk her Chemistry teacher was. She was twirling the gross cafeteria speghetti with her plastic fork. It took awhile to realize that Ash wasn't even listening to her, she was staring off into space somewhere. "Ash?" the brunette asked. She leaned over and waved her hand in front of her friend's face, "Ash!"
"Huh?" her friend snapped back into the moment. "Oh, what were you saying?"
Emi sighed and pressed her lips together. "I was saying that Mr. Graves had the nerve to give me a C!"
"That's great," murmmered Ash looking across the room again.
Placing her palms on the table, Emi leaned over to see where she was looking. Her shoulder bumped against Ash's and she narrowed her eyes to get a better look. "Who are you looking at?"
Across the room sat the Australian Exchange Student. The brunette had a giant grin on face-- she knew exactly why Ash was looking at him.
"He's so cute," her friend said with a dreamy sigh.
"Want me to ask him out for you?"
Ash almost nodded her head until she realized what Emi had said, "Wait, what!?"
"I'll go ask him out for you!"
"No, Emi... wait!" she called out after her but it was too late, Emi was already at the table. Ash felt like her heart was about to jump out of her chest. Minutes felt like hours when Emi was standing there talking to Lewis. Finally, the black haired boy looked her way. She felt her throat close up and she quickly got up and made her way to the bathroom. Emi saw the girl rushing past her and chased after her.
"Ash, wait up!" she called after her friend, trying to keep up with her. She had finally gotten close enough to grab her wrist and stop her. "What is up with you, Ash?"
"You shouldn't have said anything," she was on the verge of tears. "Why'd you have to do that? He probably thinks I'm a loser!"
"I don't think you're a loser," said the Aussie accent. Both Ash and Emi turned around to see Lewis standing there with his arms crossed.
Emi let go of Ash who rubbed her wrist to ease the pain. "Ash," she motioned to Lewis. "...meet Lewis."
"You know him?" she asked.
"Oh, that's right. I didn't tell you I go to Math class with him!"
Ash felt herself getting annoyed at Emi. How could someone she considered as a best friend do this?
"Anyways," Emi started again. "Ashy here has a crush on you."
"Emi!"
"She... she's lying!"
"Denial!" Emi called out. Lewis was confused, he had no idea what was true and what wasn't.
"Woah woah woah," he called out over the two bickering voices. "Hold on a second you two!" The two girls shut their mouths to listen to what Lewis had to say. "So, you have a crush on me?"
Ash blushed and looked away, as much as she didn't want to admit to him... she did. "Yes," her voice was quiet.
She heard him chuckle, she felt like she was going to cry. Was he laughing at her? Emi had made Ash felt so stupid, she was going to beat her up the minute they were alone.
"Emi," Lewis spoke. "Why didn't you let me ask her out?"
Both Emi and Ash looked shocked, "Huh?!"
"You really like me?!"
"Of course, why do you think I was trying to be best friends with Emi?"
"Hey!" Emi snapped at Lewis.
"Just kidding!" he looked a little freaked out, she looked like she was going to rip his face off.
"Anyways," she crossed her arms, "I think you two should go out!"
Both of them blushed and Emi's lips formed into a giant grin.
"You... really think so?" Ash and Lewis looked each other in the eye.
She grabbed Ash's hand, "You two can have lunch everyday," she walked towards Lewis,"...and you can go on dinner dates," she grabbed Lewis hand and placed their hands together. "It'll be cute!"
Both of them were still blushing. There was a long awkward silence until Lewis said, "So Ash, will you go out with me?"
"Of course!" she cheered at the top of her lungs. The boy jumped back a little but then gave a small chuckle.
Emi crossed her arms, her job here was done.
And that, my friends, is the TRUE story of how Ash and Lewis got together!
Also, Ash wanted me to put this at the end.
Lisa: MY LIFE IS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT YOU, ASH
Lisa: I NEED ASH MORE THAN YOU DO LEWIS. ;_;
Lewis: wtf?
Lewis: I LOVE NICK.
Ash: NOOOOO
Lisa: ALRIGHT! ASH IS MINE FOR THE TAKING!
Nick: BUT I LOVED YOU FIRST, LISA!
Lisa: I LOVED YOU... WHATEVER NUMBER YOU ARE ON MY LIST OF LONG LOVERS, NICK!
Nick: OH, LISA!
(make out scene)
(fade to black, credits roll)
Ash and Lewis: ...
Ash: That was ... weird
Lewis: Yeah ... Wanna go get a pizza?
Ash: Sure! (they walk off)
...don't ask. XD
