If you have not seen the Season 2 episodes Homecoming or Hong Kong Longs, this will be a spoiler.
A thought crossed my mind about Rose. After the wishes that removed the Huntsclan and allowed Rose to remain, how would she truly feel for Jake?
In her mind before re-meeting Jake, she has a history of being with her family for her entire life and not being a dragon slayer. After Hong Kong Longs, her original memory has returned. So now her full memory is her new self with 2 sets of past memories before Homecoming. She would be possessing her post-wish attitude and mentality, but her memory would be combined of both before and after the wishes. If her post-wish memory gave her a change in attitude, then her affection for Jake would change even if she knew about the real past.
And the second part, how would Jake take it if Rose does not accept the old relationship? Even though Rose is still different, Jake is still Jake. What would Jake do if rejected?

Heh, I see that you never had a crush on a girl. I can say that Jake and Rose have a crush on each other and when you're really in love with someone no matter what they are, what they do or what they have done. She will not change his feelings for Jake cuz she loves him. As Spud and Trixie sait '' No matter if you're a unicor, or my mom's lasagna''. That's in the same way but with a stronger way. Did you noticed that Rose, even after having tried to kill him dozens of times she is still with him ? So her mind never changed. And it will never change. When you really love someone that's like it . My ex-girlfirend shut me down and I had a big depression, tried to kill myself, became a quasi-alcoholic boy, but even after all that pain one part of myself is always loving her, no matter what she did. Afterwards now I'm looking on girls that seem to be her, just cuz I loved her and I fell in love with one of the girls of my class wo seems really like her.
So that's my conclusion : you're in love. No matter what is or does your crush. You love her and that's all.

I may never had a girlfriend, but I have observed many others. People do change over time. Experience changes anyone. Because of the wish, Rose can be a different person not being raised by the Huntsclan.
There is more to love than first sight, and experiences can create conflicts.

Heh ,love in that case is something particularily strong. You know what makes me say that ? Just think about the episode called ''The Academy '' : Jake is ready to die for Rose. And next in Homecoming Rose is ready to do the same for Jake. So they act like a single person. With a so strong love no matter what makes your love, you just agree and if you don't see it it doesn't matter. In the very depths of your heart you know what your girlfriend is doing. A wise man said '' Lovers had one soul for each other ''. And if they're in a true love ( like what happened for me ) even if your girlfriend is Elektra or if your boyfriend is Jack the Ripper, you love him/her. That's something that I can't describe but that's not like a love with a normal teenage crush. A feeling like it can't be told. It just can be feeled. And even when couples like that break up each one, the boy and the girl are like lost. They also look for a person to love who looks a lot like his/her girlfriend/boyfriend. But during that empty time you suffer like hell, anzi , Hell, with a capital H. When my ex-girlfriend break up with me I lose 10 kg... in one month. I was drunk almost all the time, I was doing nothing at school, I even said to my physics professor to f***k off. I even made a small alcoholism. And a prove of how strong is the love between Jake and Rose : Jake don't sleeps a lot, I did too. Jake misses school a lot , exactly like me when I was in my big depression. So as a conclusion, lightingbux, Jake and Rose just can't mess up their relation. If they do they'll feel like that they lost the north. To say it simple : if they're separated or if one of them dies , the other one dies.

I know that the love in one's heart can be very strong. One of my classmates in our senior year at high school, three months from graduation, committed suicide because his girlfriend broke up with him.
Basically, Jake is the same, and he still strongly loves Rose. Although Jake has not changed, Rose has changed. Her life and memories are different after the wish was completed. And as much as many will believe that their relationship is very strong, no pair is born made for each other. It takes the experiences to help build a relationship. And because Rose has changed, Rose may or may not feel that strongly attached to Jake anymore.
Again, people are not born made for each other.

Apparently she loves him enough to come risk her life for him at the temple, dress up in rockin' new hunts attire and kiss him right in front of the dragons of the world. The point is,her memories are jolted to the point of remembering Jake just as much as she always did.I'm not sure how she feels about having two sets of memories, but it doesn't seem to bother her too much.I think she'll be staying with her family though and visiting Jake from time to time. Her specific words (in a rather seductive voice ) are :Lets just say that it brought back some memories. Emphasis on some. What we know is that Rose remembers being Huntsgirl (look at her hair, outfit, moves and trademark "Aii-yah!") and she remembers how deeply in love with Jake she is. Jake already told her about the Huntsclan,so she knows at least that much.

But that begs the question...
As far as Hong Kong Longs implied, Rose remembered being Huntsgirl and she remembered being in love with Jake, and Jake told her about the Huntsclan so... yeah. But, from what I actually remember of the episode (and I haven't seen it in awhile, so my memory is sketchy), she never actually knows what the Huntsclan really was because she doesn't remember it herself, she only remembers being Huntsgirl.
So, if you're looking at it from an angsty angle, that also means she doesn't remember the numerous times she tried to slay Jake. Or at least, you can assume she doesn't remember, because it's never specified how much she remembers on her own. Hell, you could even say she doesn't exactly remember saving Jake, she just remembers loving Jake.
...
Meh, just a thought. I could be completely wrong.

I don't know if anybody has spotted this before, but given Jake and Rose's Shakespeare-esque romance, I just realized that their first initials are the same as Romeo and Juliet's, only gender-swapped: Romeo Rose
Juliet Jake
One more subtle nod to Shakespeare in the lives of AD:JL's resident star-crossed lovers.
