I knew the screenshot I remember will be true, WWII is boring, especially I hate outdated weapons. They're as bad as weapons which uses muskets, single-shot, muzzle loading, caplock. Vehicles & planes? Nope, modern ones are a lot more advanced, especially I love Battlefield 2's Abrams tank the best.

Haha LOL commanderhavoc ^^. But you're both right : modern weapons are cool but we mustn't forget history, it's important

I already read and knew the history for numerous times, there are plenty of WWII games I saw. The only one I play is "Day of Defeat" made from Valve.
So to me, it's not important when history is in the game. History books are more important. Anyway, modern weapons are what I prefer, especially I remember my brother played a Battlefield 2 mod which involves helicopter wars & aircraft wars (Sea maps with aircraft carriers)

Well Kokusho, battles have almost always decided the sort of entire countries or regions so warfare is also important ^^

Whatever. Anyway, speaking of that, you do know that Call of Duty also got into different results when the series was done in both WWII and 1 only modern? WWII did NOT target every audience, like me for instance (I bet I'm not the only one), in the end, the sales doesn't go up very rapidly like CoD4 did. Since CoD4 is modern war, the sales increased a lot faster than its WWII predecessors, in the end, the game even earn as "Game of the Year 2007" according to Gamespot. WWII ones? Not quite. So then, when I (Also other modern war fans) bought CoD4, well, the profit arises much. WWII ones, nope. Let's say you earn a profit of 50% for a WWII game you made after it's being sold out, when you do modern war (Whether real or fictional) instead, you earn a profit of 200% in sales. That's how CoD4 earn the "Game of the Year" title & has a higher success in sales. But sadly, when Activision goes back to WWII for CoD5, I'm sure their future sales will not go high compare to the more successful CoD4. I can predict it and I'm sure it'll be like I said. As for the Battlefield series, we'll see how it goes. I prefer a modern war to be like Battlefield 2 & the expansion, but 2142 is way too futuristic, not my taste (not as bad as my bad taste for WWII ones), so I didn't buy the game. Bad Company is fine too, I want to buy it, but since it's not available for PC, sorry, can't buy it unless a PC version is available.

It's about that Kokush because the last WW II games were the 15768465468765465768765479 of an infinite series of games. So one time it's nice, two times not so bad but a billion you just want to say '' Yeh f*ck away with this, it's boring ! ''. I think that's why CoD 4 was a so much sold game ( I even have it ^^ ).

Havoc, well, like I said, Bad Company is only available in consoles. Making PC gamers feeling sad and redundant about that. So I could not buy it, you know me, I'm a PC gamer.
Well, Italian. So far, we already knew how successful CoD4 was, so then modern warfare does really have something. Even for the CoD series when one path is taken to another (Like CoD's WWII path is switched to modern war for a while), the change got a new much better success. Anyway, we'll see how it goes when CoD5 releases. Me, sorry, not gonna buy it, but I'll be watching the sales as well as award status if CoD5 can win something.
For Battlefield Heroes, not sure if they'll be any "Game of the ?" title, but let's see where is it going.

Like meh but on PC it's easier I agree there. Most of today's FPS games are easier to play on the PC because of the mouse and keyboard.
