Yes this has been going on for a week they have virtually everyone they can get (including volunteers) on their side.

More firefighters won't help, it's because we've had the hottest days in Victoria ever recently. Oh well, at least it's not near me yet. =D

Yeah I hope it too. They should call the firement next to where I live, the U.I.I.S.C.7. from Brignoles. They already fought fires in California and other countries ( Italy as example ) so they're used with this kind of huge fires. Good luck Australia , and I'm glad to know that it's not next to where you live Somewhatgayjake:)

I was so angry when i first heard this cos it was all preventable if the greens didnt stop them from using fire blocks. One of my Warcraft III friends who plays Vampirism with me, his sister died in this.

It wasn't preventable. While most were 'apparently' lit by arsonists, it was caused by the extreme heat, and also lightning strikes. We can't control the weather...yet.
Blaming a political party is quite absurd.
