This is the way hip hop is supposed to sound: tight beats, complex lyricism, and real content.[/size]

Real talk, this album is AMAZING. It's what real hip-hop is all about. Epidemik is a true artist in this album. This album has everything from emotional, to club banging, to story telling, to motivational speeches.
The album opens up with 'Nightmares', a song talking about the stress in his life and what he's doing to make it through the day.
The next song, 'Yesterday' talks about hip-hop in general. What it used to be and how it is now, and how he plans to save it one day..
It has a little break by adding a skit talking about Epidemik's recording engineer telling him that he won't be able to make it and he hired a new one that engineered music for Dirty South artists.
The next song, 'Cereal' is a rather happy song telling about how good life is. Just being grateful to be alive.
The following song, 'Won't Leave' is a jazzy dance song with just straight up lyrical word play.
Epidemik then starts taking things in a more serious direction with 'The American Dream' talking about different perspectives on America and basically.. nobody's right, nobody's wrong. It's a rather hard song to describe. It has definite great lyrical word play
Epidemik then has a little spoken word about hip-hop and why people assume that if you're white, you're gonna get shot down.
He then reveals a more hard-hop song 'The Sky Is Falling' which talks about how there's so much controversy, media bullish, and nobody is focusing on the really important stuff. It has amazing turntable scratching in this and the entire beat was made from turntables.
The following song 'Hush' is a BIG articulate and intelligent diss to... basically everyone that's mainstream. It made me laugh and dance at the same time. Hahaha.
The next song is actually a skit called, 'Screwed & Chopped'. It's where the recording engineer I mentioned earlier meets Epidemik and he talks about how he remixed one of his songs by screwing and chopping it.. Epidemik politely says 'Well.. it's not really the direction I wanted to go with the song.. but y'know, it's pretty cool.'
'And The Wind Blows..' is a song about just taking things come as they go and to never give up and just basically follow your dreams. He switches up between fast and slow rapping.
The following songs are heart breakers.. The first 'Beautiful Mistake' is a very well thought out story about a young girl that gets with a guy that is only out for himself and even though her friends told her that he just wants you for your body, she had sex with him anyway and .. got pregant. Now she has to decide whether or not to keep it alive.
The second song, 'Father's Day' is a very emotion hitting song about a young boy that has to go through his life knowing that his father left him when he was just a little kid. He manages to raise himself to be a great young man, but is wondering whether or not to forgive his father.
Orchestra Pit is a really creative hard-hop song talking about all music genres coming together for one big musical collaboration. It features an orchestrated beat.
The next song is another skit called 'Crunk' which features a rather funny remix of Orchestra Pit giving it a new crunkish drum loop and a Lil Jon actor rapping on it. Epidemik laughs at this and thinks his engineer is just kidding when he's serious.
The following song, 'Sunrise, Sunset' is a great song about parents that don't spend enough time with their kids and don't believe them when they have problems and the effects of that.
Epidemik then opens up his religious views with 'Lullaby'. It's a religious song about how even though you go through so many trials and hurt in your life.. God loves you and is always there for you.
The album finally concludes with 'Victory' the song about Epidemik overcoming all the hate and indsutry punks. Great trumpet on this one :]
Oh actually, there is one more song.. a skit called 'Pony Tail Guy's Revenge' haha it's really funny. It's where Pony Tail Guy tells all his friends on myspace that Epidemik might sound like a big black man.. but he's actually white. hahaha
So basically, my favorite album ever. True Hip-Hop at its finest... amazing ish.
