I can't believe no one has opened up this thread about Toy Story 3. Well, although it was few weeks old, but I still find it funny when I watch the trailers from disney.go.com/toystory . Most of all, the trailer you'll see is going to be very funny when Buzz Lightyear turns Mexican or Spanish right after Rex pushed his reset button.

Sorry, Youtube don't allow trailers which are still too early to be submitted, so that official Toy Story website link will have to do. Check this out: I'm pretty excited for this movie. I mean, it's been a pretty long time since Pixar's done a Toy Story movie, so it's cool that we get to see all the characters back together. The storyline's intriguing, too. I definitely can't see them messing this up. It may not be as good as the originals, but sequels rarely are, eh?

Not all sequels can be bad, it's all depends on how they deliver the goods. And I also find this story which is way better than the last storyline when I read the Wikipedia article. It was a malfunctioning Buzz Lightyear goes to Taiwan.

any one remember episode 5 of star wars? that's considered one of the greatest movies of all time, higher than the original star wars.
back on topic
i've come to expect great quality from Pixar and it looks as though they will be delivering it once more! just cant keep a good old toy down. plus i like th larg jump in time. now Andy's heading off to college. the reset looks to be fun to.

Of course, I find this very interesting since I knew Andy will have to grow up, and what happens to the old toys. That's where the "time has come" problem starts.

Not yet for me yet, I'm still waiting for my pirated copy. If not let's hope that torrents will get some, I hate those cinema-captured camera ones. I'm pretty sure it's going to be funny when we see Spanish Buzz.

Speaking of theaters, 3D glasses & IMAX are tempting and all that, but unfortunately, I don't like watching one-shot and then that's it. I rather buy or download it to watch it multiple times. I can't wait to watch it, particularly I can't wait to meet Spanish Buzz.

It's a fantastic movie, guys. I highly recommend it. Might be my favorite of the entire year, not just for animated movies. I wouldn't want to give too much away plot-wise so I won't, but it's a highly emotional movie in all regards. You'll laugh and you might even feel close to tears; I know a lot of people who went and saw it were doin' a bit of both.
And yes... Spanish Buzz is pretty hilarious. ^^

^ Completely agree with Kevin; I saw this movie recently and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was funny, and incredibly emotionally engaging. There were several points during the movie where I found myself choking up a bit, and I'm not normally someone who cries during movies. But overall, it was highly enjoyable.
On a slightly more cynical note, I'm hoping that Pixar leave it at this for Toy Story. It was a great ending, and I wouldn't Toy Story to become yet another movie series that is ridden completely into the ground *cough*Shrek*cough*.

I hope there's not a Toy Story 4, even with great storywriters, fans can go WTF if that happens. I remember when Dreamworks creating too many Shrek movies, their fans last time go from happy and then to angry after that. Luckily their recent and final Shrek movie nails the series in its coffin. Not to say I hate the Shrek series, except I don't like to see fans go WTF all over the place.

I have a good feeling this will be the last one of the Toy Story series. I think when you see the ending of 3, you'll understand why I think that. It's possible that they COULD continue it, but I doubt they would. It simply would be very unlikely that it would be up to par of the others.

If that is the last chapter, definitely it won't have another. But still, I rather not continue as we have nothing special to continue on when Andy is already now a college boy.
Shrek already received some WTF fan shockers for creating too many movies, luckily Dreamworks made their recent one the last one ever.
On the other side, there are times people want to continue certain series just for the sake of earning money, particularly EALA wants the "Command & Conquer" game franchise to be continued instead of giving an honorable rest in peace. *face palms* It already receive too many negative WTFs, and yet the execs don't care. There will be a physical protest one day! Just like how Danny Phantom got its 3rd season.
