Well, I talked to Steve Loter on FB and he said that he would have send Rose back to New York too. This is what i was looking for. I saw something on TV Tropes and was wondering where this info came from. Thanks.

I don't think the revelation that their daughter had a brief relationship with a protector of a secret magical world in a life that never happened would have an effect on Rose's parents at all. I don't see how jake telling them he is a dragon would convince them to move back to New York.
But they would've moved back one way or another... besides I don't think a long distance relationship would be to hard. It is a magical world with teleportation spells and various magical cross the globe transportation systems... they would've found something.

Yep, i mean with it being Disney..they would have done it the easiest way possible..logic be darned. Moving back to New York is what would have happened.

They probably wouldn't even have a reason. It would just be S3 E1: hey look I'm back in New York YAAA!

They probably wouldn't even have a reason. It would just be S3 E1: hey look I'm back in New York YAAA! Yep. Jake and Rose in the living room of Jake's...when Fu interrupts them almost kissing. I would have loved to see Jake's dad continuing to ask a bunch of questions about magical creatures.
