you really need to catch back up on your Star Wars Cannon... the old Republic era is over 1000 years before the prequel trilogy. it a completely different star wars than the prequel.
but i'm glad your willing to give it a chance now. (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic's considered one of the greatest Star Wars games ever)

I know, except I can't get into a lot of games, too much is just gonna kill precious job times. That's why I keep my interest limited.

You should get your hands on KOTOR2 , Kokusho. It helps a lot to understand the whole plot of the story and stuff It also explains the origins of the SIths, whio were hte original Dark Jedis who originated the SIths, etc.... Stuff is ultracomplicated so i'm going to let you discover that but seriously it's aa very good game. You'll bump into a shipload of bugs though ( this game is as bugged as a pre-alpha version )

ya the second game was a crap shoot at best for quality control, thankfully the first was better polished however the PC versions got problems under 64bit OS's...
any ways play what ya will, i just really suggest one of the Knights of the Old Republic games. however if you would like what looks to be a great game that wont soak up large amounts of time, TFU II should be a good choice.

I know the story is going to be beautiful, I'm sure those KOTOR games are all about lightsabre wielding. But don't worry, I've been there once before, I played "Jedi Academy" & "Jedi Outcast". These games I bet they're the same except with better graphics and engines, I think.
Thanks but no thanks, I already got too many games and I'm already working. Wish could join in the fun but life doesn't allow it anymore.

now there vary much different, KOTOR is an RPG while those games you listed are FPS/TPS (third person shooter). TFU is a 3rd person fighting game. its going to be vary different from all the other ones mentioned in these posts. (i'm only continuing to point these out because your assuming things to these games that are untruthful.)

Yeah, I'm not a big gamer these days as my loyalty drops from time to time. I thought Starcraft 2 can be something addicting for me, but to honest, RTS is dead inside me, so my value of playing it again is not there anymore.
That's why today I'm putting most of my interest and money on Valve.

Valve is a good company to place some faith in, Bioware and DICE are some other good ones if your interested.
(i used to be able to say LucasArt's was one but lately that's been iffy at best...)

Valve do have some good reputations except high anticipation is their primary weakness, that's why whenever they create something which pleases the fans, they usually rush stuff in order to deliver too soon. And thus you saw how I complained the L4D2 version of The Sacrifice & No Mercy, very buggy or incomplete. And don't forget that old L4D2 boycott, since they love that new universe so much, they create so many problems in the sequel game without doing sufficient research & quality control, here's what I remember when they were gone "all brawn no brains" mode : 1. L4D2 characters are not well developed, except I like Rochelle as a news reporter. They only just dump the ideas in and then creates a character, I rate them D-. L4D1 characters are ever better with well development and research, so I give them A+. 2. Environment is too bright. Horror games are not supposed to set during the day. 3. L4D2 music are weak, horror games are supposed to be serious. L4D1 versions are all good except for the horde music, I hate their excessive bass or drum beats as though it sounds like an Aztec theme meant for jungle games. Proof is at Music>Zombat>Horde01-04 & HordeSlayer01-04 L4D2 versions were ok, although some of them are much worse! Overall, I managed to accept #2 & #3 over time, but NOT #1! Blizzard Entertainment has nearly no weaknesses at all although they do take their sweet time when they make Starcraft 2, that's why people already waited for too long and usually whine quite a lot because of it. But I know this developing company is not as big as EA itself, so manpower is not quite much. But sometimes, too many cooks may spoil the soup, right? EALA's primary weakness is their greedy executives, so don't expect any good games coming from them as you already know how f**ked up the way the games were made. No matter how super smart the developers they're hiring, the executives are the main bosses to rush the games in order to earn cash extremely early. Nah, I never touch more into Bioware & Dice, since I don't know them, so I don't have faith in them but I'm just neutral towards them. So in summary, my current faith are mostly Blizzard & with little interest in Valve (As long as high anticipation is not in the way).

Dice created Battlefield Bad Company II, the multilayer in MOH, Mirror's Edge, Battlefield Heroes. they don't make crap (as a mater of fact everythign they makes great, but they can be sometimes politically incorrect due to there location in Swedon) Bioware's been a RPG creator for ever and has created game of the year titles nearly every game they release. if you would like to see the list of amassing titles DICE has made then go to there games page at www.dice.se/

Dice seems fair enough, I thought it was made by EA. Although I remember fans don't feel very happy of how the Battlefield franchise was made. The biggest insult I ever remembered is the Bad Company I game was purely for console only. And then the BF 2142 game was not my thing either as it's too futuristic, so my last BF game was Special Forces.

ya, i was really disapointed when Bad Company 1 was a counsel only game, however BC2 was epic and for the PC!
any ways... THE FOR UNLEASHED CAME OUT YESTERDAY! i'm garbing it later today for the PS3. (sadly TFU1 was the one game my PC plays worse than the PS3)

Woo, I wish I could BC2 as well, but sadly, I don't like playing games that has prequels, it makes me get addicted to get it. So I'm scrapping BC2 out of my wanted list.
Console version can vary though. The gameplay may stay the same, but the controls will be different as we know it.

Well Kokusho your statement is at the same time right and wrong. I have Fallout 3 but I've never had the pulsion to get Fallout and Fallout 2. Though since I'm a fan of Dead Space, I will get Dead Space 2 too It basically depends of the game you choose, thats all ^^

I know, it depends on personality too. So I understand your choice, but not me, I ain't getting myself addicted to chain games, last time I wanted to play the Rainbow Six series as well but unfortunately, I find them attractive but I snapped out of it and managed not to get them at all.
