Yeah, I'm really sensitive to many things.
Anyway, I also heard that Dota 2 is their new project. It's the same as the 1st Dota game except it's on the Source engine and most of all for me, I get BOTS!! ;D

I remember when I was your agee, and Medal of Honor was all pixel like and for dat dar PSX. Back then it was just a Play Station. And yup on dat game you could beat people with your gun and all the men had one solid hand. No fingers.

Dota is a mod for Warcraft 3, it stands for Defense of the Ancients. I wish I could describe but I think the Youtube videos can help you how it looks like.
Here's my description, you play as a single hero while you take out the opposing forces including their own heroes. This game is best played online with friends, if you're solo, you don't encounter enemy heroes.

Me too, it's been a super long time since I see you, Shadow.
Anyway, me too, but I think it's going to take at least 3 more weeks until I buy that new MoH game, I would love to play it and hopefully without suffering the same old numerous crashes just like in Modern Warfare 2.
Speaking of MW2, Black Ops is coming out soon, I wonder if any of you again test run the game just to make sure it's not having the same headaches again just like in MW2.

PS3 are not for me as I need guinea pigs for the PC version.
Anyway, I understand, but I don't know when the price will actually fall since I'm buying pirated.

I beated the new MoH last night and i have to say that it's pretty awesome. it has a good balance between fun, realism and arcade. On hte graphical side nothing to say, as the graphics are nice and well detailed. OSme parts are less detailed but it's not parts that you'll spend hours looking at XD. About hte stability, despite being a non-legit version I didn't experienced any crashes or troubles, just some script errors who had to make me restart from the previous checkpoint but it only happened 2 times so it's not something major. For me it's a perfect opportunity to get something better than MW2.

Ahh, it's a good news to hear, Italian. Yeap, seriously, high anticipation on MW2 had caused Infinity Ward their game when their customers complained so much about crashing.
Anyway, Black Ops will be the next assignment. MoH is a green light for me to go get it next.

OK, gentleman (if there are any ladies too), Black Ops is already out, now we need some real results before we think about buying that game.
Clone, you told me that your friend is crashing a lot, and it might become another clone of MW2's crashing behavior. But the question is still lies in whether if it's the game's programming architecture or was it because of his weak hardware.
So, any testers can help out and provide results including those from your friends?
EDIT : You know what, I decide to scrap it after I read the review from Destructoid, they are more professional to give real results compare to IGN or Gamespot (Which I bet they're bribed to give fake high scores or doesn't have enough thorough research and experience). So in this case, NO MORE!
AND AGAIN! Black Ops still continue to suffer the infamous unnecessary crashes just like its predecessor MW2! Don't waste your time and money over a flawed programmed game.

it really saddens me that modern shooters seem to have thes kinds of problems. Crysis is good and all but as an online game Ive never been a fan... (it seems to be the only game actually programed well)

Well, bugs are the one who stabbed my stomach pretty bad, that's why I no longer want MW2 left in my external hard disk. And then it got even worse when Black Ops & MoH are bad for being short and then later report to be buggy. It's not worth it if the game receive a medium review compare to high reviews given by Destructoid.
Crysis looks promising when I look at it although I'm not sure if it's modern based rather than futuristic based. Anyway, I'll buy or torrent any good games if I'm too bored, but luckily I'm a full timer and gaming time is not just not right to me anymore. So getting a new game is not always likely.
When it comes to programming, keeping it from crashing is one thing I not only look into it very often, the other thing is being the bot development, if I'm not mistaken, when it comes to singleplayer games, Valve bots are the worst bots in the history and they're not even close enough being human. In my experience, I find Modern Warfare bots are realistic enough to fight, know how to fire back and even use grenades properly, as for Valve, they're 50% smarter and 80% more stupid for handling grenades.

well, where were you hearing about MOH being buggy? (i have yet to hear of this)
Crysis has an amassing Human AI while the Aliens are pitiful... (so most of the fun's in the first half of the game). but, Crysis 2's solving the problem and it should be even funner! there using the same AI for humans and aliens which will solve the AI problem and its in a city which should prove vary entertaining with its completely destructible environment.
however, we can only cross our fingers and hop to death that it will be as un-buggy as the first.

Sorry that I was being quick, actually MoH is not buggy, it's just the short storyline is the problem and in some other cases as according to Destructoid. So I'm not buying it unless if I become super bored.
PS : By the way, I hope there's a fun thread which I wonder if you & Italian are interested in, I left a new Smartphone Processor thread at the Chatter section, care to join in?
