It might be a good idea to give more info anyway. Tell us more about yourself, more about your team, how many members so far, and what some of your plans are for bringing the show back. That sort of info will be more likely to attract members to the cause rather than making people email you for it.
We started in January and now we have 5 members. Our goal is to convince Disney and the executive producers (Matt and Eddie) in bringing back the show. We will start an online petition, with a goal of 50,000 signatures. We will have an official Facebook Page for all ADJL fans, a YouTube Channel, Instagram, Twitter and 9gag, to promote our petition to many more people. Currently, we're developing the website for the campaign. In order to create more impacts, we will guide our fans how to email and send letter to Disney.
On the website, we will have information about the show, such as Episode Overview, Behind the scenes moment with Eddie and Matt, How to take action (Petition, Letter/Email, Poster, etc.), Articles about the show, and how to Contact us. For us, the most important thing is not letting any fans be left alone, we want to communicate with as many fans as possible. The fans are our motivation!
On our Facebook page, we will be posting memes and fan arts, and that will be the main way we contact our fans. In the future, we will also have competitions with prizes, such as making music video, writing short stories, and more. Prizes for winners and participants. Depending on our budget, prizes will vary. Occasionally, we have surveys to make sure our fans have the best experience. The Facebook page is meant to operate for years, as home for all ADJL fans.
YouTube channel, we will post clips from the show, not full episodes of course, as we take copyright issue seriously, or else Disney will shut down our campaign immediately. We will post materials for our fans to use and make music video. Love timeline, scenes from the show, etc. More about other social media platform later, but probably will operate the same way.
We do not make money from the channel. Our budget will be determined by the fans' donation, for domain and hosting fees, and most importantly, prizes for competitions. We operate as non-profit organization, and we will not use fans' donation for our own goods. Fans can request us to release budget balance, there will be no secrets. Trust is the biggest factor.
More about me: I'm currently an admin of a fan page on Facebook, "Golden Age Disney Channel" with 60k fans, which will help promote the campaign. Recently, I've been able to contact the admin of the ADJL fan page (the one that was recognized by Jeff Goode) and the page is being operated by our team.
That's the overview of the campaign, which is planned to go live in May 2016. There will be changes, depending on feedback received from our fans and hopefully the producers.
We know many campaigns have started and did not succeed, due to many reasons. We're trying to learn from them and avoid making the same mistakes. Our mission: Reunite all ADJL fans and together, fight for show. 8 years has been a long time, since the show was cancelled, but the love and supports for the show are still there.
Well, I am definitely going to support this campaign. Hopefully it will work. It would be great to see AmDrag back in action
