The good guy always wins, I always win... Thus I must be a good guys. Makes sense, doesn't it? If the good guys always wins, the story would be boring and the bad guys would just give up. But no, the good guy does not always win. The good guy always wins the war but never every battle. That is how a story gets interesting, and bad guys get the feeling that they have a chance.

If winning or losing isn't the factor I don't really know how good I am. I know I'm pretty good as I'm always there to help people, but I can get pretty angry and crop up alot of anger :S I don't know for sure...

Earlier in this thread, I made an interesting comment about good and evil. It is not you who determines if you are good or evil, but it is the people that you affect that determine if you are good or evil. Such a statement is actually too complex for a children's story. Thus for young children's stories, writers label their characters as good or evil. Every now and then you can get a waning character, like Rose. I still love my psychology class in college, "Evil in Literature." The first question is, "What is true evil?" In the end, evil is merely a concept.

It took me quite some time to think of an awnser here, and at first, I'd say you're right. However, you're not... The song "Have a nice day" by Bon Jovi has a special meaning to me: it's about living your life and, more importantly, not anyone think for you. You see, that's what I think about this: good and evil are perspectives given by various people, but nobody has exactly the same idea.
A good example is warfare: the people that win the war are always the goodguys, why? coz the good guys write history and the badguys are dead or silenced.
People might assign you a tag, labelled "good" or "bad", but if your actions are justified in your own oppinion, I'd say you're a good guy. Even if this are hard dicissions. Just one thing should be kept in notice: your oppinion should be based on various facts and you should look at them through various perspectives. This because a narrowminded perspective could count as no perspective at all...
