Authorities are investigating, but no other details are available at this time. Instead of its announced programming for tonight on USA Network, WWE will air a three-hour tribute to Chris Benoit. Chris was beloved among his fellow Superstars, and was a favorite among WWE fans for his unbelievable athleticism and wrestling ability. He always took great pride in his performance, and always showed respect for the business he loved, for his peers and towards his fans. This is a terrible tragedy and an unbearable loss. WWE extends its sincere condolences and prayers to the Benoit family and loved ones in this time of tragedy. People can look at this on their own. If you want to talk about nothing but wrestling, go to a wrestling FORUM. Just because we have one forum about wrestling, you don't need to tell everyone about articles that they can just find on their own online.

Report says Benoit family didn't die from shooting
from the The Atlanta-Journal Constitution:
Authorities confirmed that Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy and their 7-year-old son were found dead at the home on Quarters and Redwine roads in Fayetteville about 4 p.m.
Officials would not say how the family died, other than to say they weren't shot to death.
Benoit, 40, was a Canadian wrestler who most recently fought as part of the World Wrestling Entertainment.
The organization said on its Web site said that Monday night's broadcast of "Raw" on the USA Network will "serve as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family."

At first I didnt think it was real due to the Mcmahon Storyline then they had Mcmahon start the show then I relized "Whoa I dont belive it!" Chris Benoit was one of my favorite wrestlers along with Eddie. I was just watching ABC news & they said the police are treating it as a murder Suicide.
I have 2 things to say. Why did we lock the other thread? The other one was fine but now we have rules that we can barely talk about wrestling. & the 2nd is Toph you we would be disrespecting mm20 if you did not let him post this topic. It is a very important topic. I dont see how mm20 was disrespecting you at all. For once I agree with mm20. Out of respect for the Benoit family this news should be heard by others on the forum.

As I said, he can post it, IF ITS REAL!
It's that mm20 needs to discuss what he posts, he does nothing but copy and paste. That's against the rules. The old thread was locked so the rules could be established.
