Although too many and very popular, but to be honest, even for the music industries, the original music is nice to hear, but when people remixes them into different versions, it's going to be very noisy and could hurt the listeners' feelings when it comes to remixes. Not all remixes can be good, they can sometimes end up damaging the original version.
Exp : Linkin Park's "Papercut" Original version = Quiet and seems fine Hell Remix version = Too noisy but not that bad, still ok to keep it.
Ricky Martin's Cup of Life (Ole ole ole) Original version = Very original towards football a.k.a. soccer. World Cup edition = Too much noise and crowds' "Goal!!" cheers, I'm so not gonna download and keep that music again.

Personally, I don't really care! I think one's enough, though. We don't need the extra sing a long, dance along, encore, or concert things. I totally wasn't expecting HSM2, but...well...I guess it could be interesting. There's been talk of a Haunted High School Musical, too.

Haunted version? Never see that coming, as though like I wish Wikipedia has a proof, but definitely there won't be one to find out.

^^ No, it's not in East High. The first few minutes it will be (obviously because of the What Time Is It? HSM2 MV that came out a week or two ago.) The second one takes place in a country club called "Lava Springs."
And I don't think there's too many versions; there could be more. (:

I think that Disney is just going to ruin it all. Because kids grow older and grow out of the stuff, and then bam, suddenly they've lost a lot of money. Disney is just ruining something that would have been just fine as one movie. (Although I do think that even a movie was too much .. =P)

That reminds me of the Shrek series, Dreamworks really love that series so much. But is their action is going to cost them their budget and their company lives?
And Disney used to be doing a good job since the past, why are they getting worse this time? Or was it. Especially when you said they stick with the new versions and create them and all this all that, they created too many Original Movies when I saw all those movies coming in from my TV Commercials.
