I'm actually more intrigued by Matt's hint at what Gramps will do to "spin the whole show on its heels", and his prediction of the negative feedback from viewers because of it. That would certainly be a surprise.

There's a new entry up concerning the challenges Eddie and Matt faced when presented with racial stereotype issues in developing Trixie as a character. I laughed at the last part of the entry, where the Disney executives were too scared to actually confront her voice actor with their notes.

Racial Issue is a "No Win" scenario.
The problem is that in most situations the complainers create the stereotype, not the people being complained about. Some time ago, there was stereotyping, but little today. All what happens is the remaints of people that think others are racist against them.
It is an awful situation, but it exists in many forms. Not only on a racial level, but a religious one too. At least I am a true athiest and do not care. Heck, I help keep a christain church's computer system operational. It is all a problem of tolerating other beliefs, although some beliefs and cultures do need to be destroyed.

That was funny to read. Poor Matt, poor Eddie. I loved how the Disney executives chickened out in the end after giving their notes to Miss Kittie. I'm sorry, but that made me laugh. ;D

New entry up concerning a "Quick Update".
Matt apologizes for a lack of blog entries, but gives a little insight into recent happenings (meeting up with the show VA's at a press mixer; visiting family) and some tidbits on upcoming episodes.
^lol

It is cool to know the cast knows each other. A lot of animated series, voice over actors come in and record their parts at different times. And they never meet any of their fellow castmembers.
While the cast probably does not record their voices at the sametime, they know each other.
And they do live action acting. I did not know that? I need to check out, the things Matt and Eddie mention, and see the people behind these characters.

What gives you that indication? If your referring to the animators leaving, I think that is just for the rest of season 2. And if they are leaving, just hire new animators.

The animators could definitely be called back for a third season; since most of their work for the second season is done, they're free to move on to other projects. It doesn't mean there won't be a third season.

I don't why it wouldn't comeback. It is very popular, and it is getting better ratings. American Dragon might be the best original tv show of the year.
The only animated show that might be ahead of it, is Family Guy. The only non animated show ahead of it, Chappelle's Show: Lost Episodes.

"Also, I hope Charlie doesn’t mind me sharing this, but he’s also quite excited about a five-foot tall taxidermied baboon he just won on EBay. If Eddie and I write any more Am Drags, we’re definitely going to work that into an episode."
^Haha that would be an interesting episode. xD
