I love both the seasons, but if you think about the drawings. Then Season 2 is worst 2 me...
You can choose both if you don't know...

Season 2, the storyline was a bit darker and better.

Yeah, season 2 storyline is darker and there's more fights But when you see some fics on fanfiction.net you're really scared ( in one called ''Her Fate'' Rose burns alive the Huntsmaster and there's a loot of other stuff like it in that story ).

I liked the first season, but the second season's the one that made me proud to be a fan. The story line was great and even rivaled many other great TV shows, the fight scenes were much better and the style... iol stop there.
Over all I loved the second season, but will all ways remember the first!

In response to the comment about story quality, The highlights of Season was Rose and The Huntsclan as well as the Dark Dragon. Season 2 on the otherhand was interesting even when the aforementioned stroy threads weren't part of the episode.
Heck, Rotwood was a lot more likable in Season 2.

Hmm , in season 2 Rotwood made me wanting to kill him but ..... XD What were your thoughts of Season 1's Rotwood? But to go further into it, his season 1 portrayal makes feel like the poor man's Denzel Crocker (from Fairly Oddparents). The fact that he was able to discover Jake's secret and the revelation that he wants both humans and magical creatures to coincide gives him more depth than the looney fairy hunter. Simply a case of good intentions with questionable methods.

You're forgetting a serious case of vainglory, or to use the modern term, glory-hounding. Rotwood is a classic case of a scientist bound and determined to prove his case regardless of who suffers for it. If he actually succeeded in his aims. He'd probably come to regret it as deeply as the Mahattan Project scientists regreted their involvement in the development of the atomic bomb. That, of course, would not undo the damage he would have done.

I agree with you Protoss Drag'. On season 1 the drawings were nicer but in the second season the storyline is much darker. And personally I think that the Season 2 with the season 1 drawings will be heaven !
