I remember there's a thread regarding this C&C game, which can be found here americandragon.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=games&action=display&thread=3889 back in several pages behind. Anyway, that game is ok, but when I play it, it doesn't make me feel like back in the old Westwood days. EA continues to mess up the entire franchise, especially if you look at "C&C4 : Tiberian Twilight". Oh, lastly, hang on a minute, don't complain EA or the fans and myself and say we rip off the Tiberian Twilight name out from that vampire Twilight series, it has NOTHING to do with C&C4, we picked it since our former Westwood founder found the name back in 1999.

(the original one) however i never really got in to it...

I know, the good old days were the best, but today, it all sucked. Much like music, 90s were the best classic times and best disco moments, today, it all won't do, not even rave music.
Back on topic, anyway, the Westwood times were the best, I still keep the games including their boxes. But once after EA holds it, all of these don't fit, not even the boxes do, because the C&C today is not the C&C of yesterday. The major difference is the Soldier's Head last time, Westwood owned it, but today, it's all down to their crappy X design as well as their infamous lazy way of COPYING & PASTING to create a boxart! Lastly, they don't create a lot of CGIs since they wasted all their budget for unnecessary Hollywood stars. Westwood on the other hand, they're the reverse, they create more CGIs and hires low budget actors.
Even so, I heard many people complain that the Battlefield series were the best during the old days, today, it's not good. C&C is much more ****ed up than Battlefield. Another is Need For Speed, but I can't be sure if people complain about that ever since Pro Street, which I heard that game is not sticking to its roots (Exp : No police), today, I'm not sure if NFS is doing well since I'm not a big fan of that series. Anyway, I lost faith in EA since I know they'll continue to merge smaller companies and to ruin their games. I'm now putting more faith in Ubisoft, Atari, and most of all, Valve Corporation.

whats got me the moste apauld is in the new Need For Speed is like a regular racer! WTF? ive got 3 other games to choos from for that, i want to go bashing cops and stuff.
back on topic. in general all strategy games were better back in the day. its becoming really hard to come across a modern RTS that's actually worth playing for hours like the old ones.

I hope the bashing cops is fun enough in NFS, because the GTA ones were overkill.
Anyway, the current RTS market is falling down and it's not getting any better. The only way of getting better is when Starcraft 2 releases. Because right now, FPS rules the gaming market via Left 4 Dead 2 & Modern Warfare 2.
