The shift is actually occurring as we chat. China was the world's most powerful country in the 1400s, and lost it. Spain, 1500s to 1600s, Britain 1600s to 1945, United States 1900s to early 21st century. China is definitely next. China, ideally, is Communist, but the WAY the government is running things proves otherwise. Yes, some concepts are still kept, but with Maoist Communism, China was a third world country. Their country is growing at 9% a year and China is not causing territorial problems, it is US!!! Yes, the United States. Any country has the right to control their own boundaries (not invade others, that is never justified) and keep peace and security inside their own country. The whole China/Tibet debate should have never happened. In fact, Tibet had been part of China ever since the Yuan Dynasty. Other provinces actually HELP Tibet develop economically. Tibetans put this problem on themselves, and it is about time China control the situation. Furthermore, China does not try to make everyone like them... that is why they have the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, and also the Autonomous Regions of Guangxi, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and yes, Tibet. These people are allowed to rule themselves under Chinese supervision. In conclusion, China does not exercise dictatorship anymore... their president changes every 10 years. The United States does not have the right to meddle with anyone's affairs, and China does not try to make everyone like them. thanks for pointing out what my late night posting gets wrong, however the territorial tiffs i was referring to is the little show down they have been having with as you said Tibet but also Japan. but then again them and Japan are all ways getting on each others nerves. (nothing in comparison to the problems the US has been involved in in the middle east) the referencing on there territories being forced to similarity is related to what ive been hearing with Tibet. yes i was wrong on the dictator ship thing... forgive me for having problems with making distinctions when i'm tired. try to remember that there previous ruler was running it like a dictator ship and i just assumed that the current was following fairly closely. i should lock my self out of the internet when i'm tired i all ways make retarded posts. also i should of said 10 instead of 30... also i must admit i get a little pissy when it comes to China VS USA things. (only country i do get that way over) So had Iraq by public vote, chosen to have another dictator, the US would have been ok with this? got me on that one... let me know when they have one that's not gerry-rigged.

Don't forget that North Korea ain't the only country that pressurizes the White House, don't forget on Iran & their "dictator" president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. US claims that Iran's nuclear reactor might invest on making nuclear weapons.

theres not to many things in the world that i can say that i honestly wish were never invented but the Nuclear Bomb is definitely one of them. look at all the weight e give to them when other stuff could be perused. (hell ever heard o the Neutron Bomb? it decintegrates the DNA bonds in cells and thus only destroys living things. drop one and the city is yours for the taking and its got a half life that lets you role in the next day...)

Sorry if I sounded pissy in the last post.
We also have to look at the side effects of the neutron bomb. If it kills living things, will any residue be left over and kill people indefinitely? Because radiation does go away after about two weeks.

back when, i had a strange fascination with nuclear weapons, i did a lot of research on them and halftime of different models. then i found the Neutron Bomb. that singly weapon mad me suddenly hippy on that subject... to be simple, we can drop these all over the middle east, kill all the problem and then just repopulate, or just do this to any country/land that we wish. only at the epicenter of the bomb is there structural damage. everything else is just a pulse of Neutrons that break down your genetic structure completely. the half life of it is literally something as short as 24 hours.
(no problem, we all got pissy around my post)

That is a great idea, but we are talking about massive ghost towns that are going to show up out of nowhere. And what if our enemies get the weapon, it would essentially be the Cold War again.

well there not to far off from having Nuclear weapons and a simple trip to the black market will get you a suitcase nuke so the possibility of them having one right now's fairly high. now the neutron bomb the only country with one that i know of is the United States. but my information's old...

Well, I'm quite sure that the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction will hold. Nobody is going to nuke anyone else if they are sure they will receive retaliation.

After all and remember, the world is not like your average battlefield from RTS games. Real lives are on the line though.
Even Marine Snipers cannot play as Hollywood snipers, their stealth skills are very important and must not compromise themselves. And for eliminating high value targets, they only got one shot of it, no Load Game mode, no Call of Duty "revive from the dead mode", etc..

Yup, some world leaders don't seem to understand that concept.

Even the President did sent more troops to the Middle East, but we don't get a lot of progress. Even the Special Task Force group also don't seem to find Bin Laden either, it's not like Modern Warfare 2's Task Force anyways.

the biggest problem is that its not WWII out there where you just shoot everyone waring a swastika. the terrorists are using civilians as human shields and gorilla warfare. right now they move faster than we do and blend.

Wow, they really are better, just not the same as in Modern Warfare 2 or any other Hollywood movies.

Just from a historical point of view, guerrilla warfare always achieves its ends. That is exactly what Al Qaeda is using against Western Nations. And it may just work until Westernized nations change their strategies. The Viet Cong in the 1970s worked, Communist China in 1940s.

I thought the Vietnam war was lost because of some bad firepower. The M16's 5.56 bullets are accurate but they lack in firepower compare to the AK47's 7.62 rounds, although not well accurate but it has a strong firepower. That's what I know during the Vietnam war.
And also, I think the guerrilla tactic did work when they blew up several NATO trucks last time. I think.
