OK, I now there are already several topic about this, but I have been studing all the posibilities for the third season and I have many ideas for save the show and make the-so-desired third season of "American Dragon". Here thery are:
+ The first episode could be as "Half Baked", an episode that begins explaining to us what happened since the last aired episode, "The Hong Kong Longs". Just like in "Half Baked", three months have passed (the whole summer) and everything shows a new beginning for Jake and his friends. For example, Jake doesn't have to hide his "magic secret" to his dad anymore and he's about to starts his first year in the High School. However, some things have just been "modified lightly"; in the summer, Rotwood has turned the "Fillmore's Middle School" into the new and improved "Fillmore's High School", so he can still be close to Jake and try to show the whole world the existence of the magical beings. So, it's the same school, but now it has a new level and new stuff for our young heroes.
Another change is that Rose has returned to New York and she's also going to start the new grade in the "Fillmore's High School", which it has been possible thanks to the Dragon Council. Although she helps to defeat the Dark Dragon in Hong Kong, the Council is very worried because there's still one last Dragon Slayer, and since Jake already knows her, they decided that Jake would have the responsibility of keep an eye on her. Partly, this is also thanks to the wish of Jake and Rose, since both of them wanted be together again. Mainly Rose, who thinks that she owes Jake very big by save her of the destruction of the Huntsclan and grant her the life that she always wanted. And besides, after comparing her "two lives", she could see that a "normal life" can be extremely... BORING!!!!. So she wants to continue with her double life in the magical world with Jake and gives her lifa some great emotions and aventures.
Finally, just like with Kim Possible's "Tweebs" in the fourth season, we could see some change in Haley and Jake. For example, Jake becomes taller and almost the same height of Rose; this way that annoyance that Jake is shorter than the girl he loves it's resolved. And officially, as Kim and Ron did in the fourth season of "Kim Possible", Jake and Rose become and official couple and they start dating; besides to be partners of adventures.
+ Another episode could be about that the "Huntsgirl" is discovered making some crimes against the magical world. Rose is accused and arrested by order of the Dragon Council, so Jake should do all the possible things to clean his girlfriend's name. His investigation takes him to discover a Rose's double who turns out to be no more, no less that... Rose's Twin Sister!!. Because of Jake's wish with the Aztec Skulls, Rose was never kidnapped by the Huntsclan; but instead, as a consequence of the wish, her twin sister it was kidnapped by the Huntsclan, although by accident. The Huntsclan was destroyed by Rose's wish, but as Jake's wish was granted just before complete the Rose's one (before Rose was also destroyed) Rose's sister wasn't included in the Huntsclan in that moment; so her life was changed and she became the new Huntsgirl without includes her in Rose's wish, and the rest of the Huntsclan keep "destroyed".
Things are very complicated and different in this new "reality", and Rose's twin (and the new Huntsgirl) recruits 88 and 89 as her "subordinates" without they can understand one single thing. The plan of the new Huntsgirl is to resurrect the Huntsman, who could have his memory altered or not as a consequence of the Aztec Skulls, and at the end she do it. Of course, the Huntsman still would be determined to destroy all the magical beings and find a way to reconstruct the Huntsclan; but before anything of that, now his main obsession is revenge against the two ones who he hates more in the whole world: Rose, the traitor, and Jake Long, the American Dragon, the main responsible for the destruction of the Huntsclan. And since the Huntsman knows the civil identities of Jake and Rose, he could think a plan whicj will includes to attack the families of both of them.
+ The main plot of this season could be the rescue of Rose's twin and to make her returns with her family; just like in the second season was the Aztec Skulls and Rose acting as "a double agent". Rose's sister lives deceived in this new reality, because she thinks the magical creatures destroyed her family and that's why she hates the magical creatures and she want to destroy all of them. It also hates Rose because she's in love with the American Dragon (one of those monstrous beings) and Jake too because she also thinks that the American Dragon was responsible for his misfortunes (which, technically, partly it's true). So, just like the Huntsman, her biggest wish is to destroy all of those ones who she hates. At the end, they shown Rose's twin the truth; it was the Huntsclan who kidnapped her and they have used her from the beginning. That will help that, finally, the new Huntsgirl revealed against the Huntsman too and help to destroy him once and for all; allowing Rose's sister to returns with her family. In this plot we could also discover the link which connect Rose and her family with the Huntsclan; as well as the origin of the same Huntsclan.
+ An Crossover episode with "Kim Possible", in which Kim could help Jake giving him some advices to survive in the High School with "a double life full of incredible adventures"; because she knows exactly what it's like. I can already imagine the perfect interaction between the characters from both series when they join:
- Kim and Rose making a Kung-Fu fighting together in perfect synchronization. That will be so cool!!!!. And they could talk too about fashion or "Club Banana".
- Jake and Ron making the hero business together (Jake with his Dragon powers and Ron with his Mystical Monkey Powers). And then, both of them lose the pants and said "Ah, man!!!" at the unison.
- Wade and Spud (and maybe Ron interfering) doing the computer business together. Wade could think that Spud is "not-so-smart" like Ron, and then Spud resolve a computer problem which Wade couldn't resolve it.
- Trixie and Monique talking about something which it like to both of them.
- A funny scene between Rufus and Fu Dog. (Why the heros always have extremly weird pets?).
- A scene with Gramps and the Sensei. (They are very similar, don't you think so?).
- And the villains, well, from "American Dragon" it could be Eli Pandarus (he's a millionaire wizard with business in the human and the magical world) and from "Kim Possible"... I'm not sure... Maybe.... Monkey Fist?.
- This crossover it could happen after the episodes "Graduation" from "Kim Possible", because in a chat with Steve Loter, he said that the University to which both (Kim and Ron) would go together it could be in "Upstage New York". So, Kim would be very close to Jake, don't you think so?.
+ In one of the episodes we can see as Jake has troubles being trapped in a "loving triangle": Rose-Jake-Danica. But at the end, after a dangerous experience, Jake decides that the only girl for him is Rose. And although he has to break up with her, Danica could find a possible new boyfriend in Nigel Thrall, the wizard exchange's student from England.
+ Another episode could show us how much Jake's dad (now that he now the magical secret of his son) is worried about the whole stuff of the American Dragon, by the evident fact that it could steal Jake his life as human and cause him problems without stopping. Jake's dad could even think about the senseless idea of helping his son in dragon's duties. At the end, Jake's dad would trust that his son will know to resove them and he should help him otherwise.
+ Jake could finally perfect the power of the Chi's Doppelganger in this season; for example, if he has to be dragon in middle of his class, he will just has to leave one of his doppelgangers to cover him while he works. But this could also make possible that Yang Jake (the evil doppelganger of Jake) can return, escapes and then ends up in the middle of something really big; for example... The Dark Dragon!!.
+ We could finally meet the members of the "13th Top Threads of the Magical World". We have just known some of the members of the list and it's a pending topic from the first season. So it would be better to resolve it now. Another thing that we could also discover in this season it would be... Dark Dragon's human form?.
+ In another episode, we could see that Jake's dragon powers and chi are stolen. Then, when they are trying to recover them, Rose absorb them by accident and she ends becoming a powerful (and beautiful) She-Dragon. And being the very first time in history that a Dragon Slayer becomes "its own prey" (a dragon) this will allow Rose to discover one of the oldest secrets of the Huntsclan.
+ Just like in the two previous seasons, this one could ends with a fight against the Dark Dragon. A confrontation that could be classified as "the battle of the century".
+ In one of the episodes we could make the traditional "skip in time" where we travel to the future and we see what happened with the characters all this years. One of the things that I would bet is that, in some years, Jake and Rose live together, happily married and with two children who they train in their two lives: as dragons and as humans.
+ Rotwood would still chasing Jake, but after a disastrous experience, he would end becoming an ally of the team dragon; in exchange, they would help Rotwood to be recognized in the human world as "a great scientist".
Well, what do you think of all this?.
