Somebody once described this album as "More addictive then Cocaine smothered in Chocolate" and I've never really understood why, so I went and bought the album myself, and believe me. Now, I know.
Killswitch Engage's breakthrough album that literally brought their band from something they played in on weekends for fun, to a fulltime job!
The intense vocals of Jesse Leach, and crushing riffs and intense drumwork much perfectly to create a hellacious, spine tingling metal sound, topped off perfectly by the softer, soothing vocals of Leach, creating one of the greatest sounds in Heavy Metal today.
This album is where it was all started, and that fact is showcased in the songs such as "Life To Lifeless", "Fixation On The Darkness", "Temple From The Within", "The Element Of One" and the smash hit "My Last Serenade"
I recommend this album to anyone, just give it a go and see you what you think. Discover, one of the biggest names in Heavy Metal just like I did. You will not regret it.
