Yeah or the thread will just go postal and we don't want this. So umm. I'm back to thread, effectively McCain is a veteran of war and maybe people didn't voted for him because everyone in USA is bored with wars and they want they GI's home. So that may also explain why Obama won and McCain losed the election.

Well, not EVERYONE wants that. But I'd say that a good majority does.

Yeah you're right, but it also may have influenced a lot also ^^. Effectively some ppl still want an American presence in Iraq but to sum up all the stuff everyone is starting to get bored of this.

^...lolwut?
As far as I know, the Iraq war has lasted since 2003 (correct me if I'm wrong)
WWI was about 4 years. WWII was about 6 years long.
So, no, the iraq war is not longer than WWI and WWII combined.

Well, YFWE, good point for seeing my "World wants Kerry as US President" part. But for now, let's hope Obama promises everything.

There won't ever be a president who can promise everything and inforce it,its Congress who decides the matters as well.As my parents and friend's have said to me at times,George Bush had some good ideas and they were shot down by congress.
A person can only do so much,he might be the president, but even a president can only do so much at one time,I mean think about it could anyone else do a better job, look someone straight in the eye and say you will, but get there in the White House and see if you can do it better,if you can run for it,if not try to make the best out of the life you have and the decisions the president makes while in office cause weither you like it on not, there will never be a president who will do everything he says he will do.
This is not to start a fight or that, just saying the truth of what I REALLY think.

Essentially as Ive said whether it were McCain or Obama elected, All these new Policies will be introduced in the first 3 Months, then nothing or very little for the next 3 years, then more new Policies for the remaining 6 Months before next election.

Even if the election is over, there's also post-election results. So far, like the common question. What do you think of the election after Obama won? That's how it is.
