Yes it is possile. I searched for a looong time and it's possible to put your own videos on The Sims 2. You have to do like this : Step 1 - Chooose your vid ( it doesn't matter which one it is ) Step 2 - Download SUPER. It's a powerful video converter Step 3 - Convert the video with these settings : 128 x 128 30 fps, it will work Step 4 - Once it's converted put it in C:/ Program Files / EA GAmes /The Sims 2 / Movies and just choose the Tv channel that you want ! Voilà with that your sims can watch Mission Impossible, Dr House, American Dragon on their own TV. I did it with ''The Ski Trip and one evening when I loaded a house they were ALL watching American Dragon Oo EDIT: I forgot to precise that the format must be in .AVI. If it isn't if won't work.

Yeah, you can do that with MP3s too and play songs through their stereos.

Me too, but too bad that I don't have Sims 2.
But the only thing I did was replacing Counter Strike's CS_Italy's Opera music. No, it's not like a sound replacement like Copy & Paste, it takes several steps in order for it work.
