I don't understand the character. The writers never gave her character development like they did with Spud or Jake or Rose. And they have her be mean without any explanation and I don't like it

She does care about others but she gets caught up just like everyone else sometimes,I think it's pretty obvious in The Talented Mr. Long,Ski Trip,The Hunted,Bring It On and Switcharoo (just to name a few) that she cares. She should have another episode but she's fine as is. ^^

Because there is already a show on Nick where the main characters' best gal pal is really nice and supportive. XD jkjk
I'm wondering that myself. I mean, I'm not expecting anyone to be perfect (really, who is?), but she could be a bit more supportive esp. in the Love Cruise and Homecmong. *POKEPOKE*

Trixie is the kind of friend whose more likely to tell you to suck it up then be friendly and supportive. And let's face it, if your best friend was in love with a girl who tried to kill him I think I'd be a little nasty too.
It's just part of her character. I like it, personally. I was getting tired of "OMG we will support u no matter what!!111!!!1" personalities some friends had on other shows.

I think the reason she doesn't have much development is because she was already well grounded. She is the voice of reason of her friends. She seems mean but only because she cares.
She didn't act mean to Rose after she ended up helping them.
