Now I'm just pissed... The other day I went to play Twilight Princess on my Wii, and guess what? The Wii-mote is on the fritz! I can't use it in 3 Dimensions anymore! I can't twist, push/pull, swing, slash, or do anything 3D with it anymore! I can only move the cursor in 2 dimensions. (Up, down, left, and right. ) The nunchuk works, but the Wii-mote doesn't... I can't even use the "home", "+", or "-" buttons when playing Zelda either... Whats bugging me the most is that I can't fix it. >.< I've tried: Changing the batteries, Re-syncing it, (Both "one-time mode" and regular.) Moving the sensor bar above the TV, Made sure all connections were secure, Made sure nothing was blocking the sensors, And changed the lighting conditions... (Yes, light interferes with the infrared signal...) I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING, AND NOTHING WORKS! The fact I can't fix it is driving me crazy! At this point, there could only be 2 possibilities... 1. Theres something electrical interfering with the infrared signals... 2. The wii-mote is busted... Which is weird since I never dropped it. Any ideas on how to fix this?!

Have you tried contacting Nintendo's Customer Service? I haven't really heard many complaints of having these kinds of problems with the Wii Remote, but they could probably give you a better analysis on your problem and perhaps even replace the controller. I don't know if they do that.
If that doesn't work, perhaps you could buy another one? Since your nunchuk still works, it wouldn't be as costly.

Well I was going to call Nintendo CS, but I don't know what to complain about... For all I know the sensor bar could be broken, or the Wii console itself could have something wrong with it.
It makes me sad because this is probably the last Video game console I'm going to own before I have to face the world as an adult.

To test the sensor bar, use any home video camera, or webcam, and aim it at the sensor bar when it's on, you, in theory, should see flashing light coming from it.
Believe it or not, the bar isn't required however, it just helps the Wii mote with IR interference..
This is why I don't buy any more Nintendo products. They insist on using yesterdays technology, and say it's "new". For crying out loud, the Wii is no more powerful than the original Xbox.. (probably less).. I mean, it's graphics output isn't even HD..
I'd reccomend you contact Nintendo though, have them diagnose the problem. the fact that some buttons aren't working, it sounds like one of the logic gates in the remote failed...

... smash the controller against the wall. It worked with my broken pencil sharpener! XDDDD (but it seriously worked XP) Maybe I can ask my friend, he owns a Wii.
