www.phasegame.com/"Don't just listen to your music - play it! Phase is an interactive music game that lets you experience songs in an entirely new and unique way. Choose a song in your iTunes library, and Phase will turn it into a gameplay level. Press and glide the iPod's click wheel along with the rhythm of the music to catch notes and floating sweeps. Try to collect bonus phrases for extra points." So basically it's a rhythm game you can put ANY song on. Zeppelin, AC/DC, Van Halen, and all those other bands that just wouldn't license their songs to Guitar Hero. You can also put up some polka and classical music if that suits you. (Speaking of Guitar Hero, the game is developed by Harmonix, original developer of the aforementioned music game, as well as other cult favorites "Frequency" and "Amplitude" on the PS2. They're currently working on "Rock Band" for the 360, PS3 and PS2.) The game is $4.99 and is available on iTunes right now. (The link above has a direct iTunes link to buy it.) It comes with some songs in itself if you don't happen to have any music to put on your iPod (which is a whole issue in itself). Nightlife by Bang CamaroDots and Dashes by Dealership Pop Music is Not a Crime by FreezepopMidnight Gamma by Intersect Spira Mirabilis by Kodomo Theme of The Awesome by SpeckDragonfly Remix by Universal Hall Pass If you have an iPod, check it out. It's pretty neat and cheap as well.

This is the greatest game I have ever played on my iPod. I have just played it for an hour straight and stopped since my iPod was running low on power XD. Awesome game, if you have a video or nano (i think it works on nano) GET IT OR ELSE XD

Not want to bring up a thread that's a month old, but I do have something to contribute.
I just purchased the game, and put it on my iPod, and it is indeed great.
However, on some 5th gen iPod Videos, particularly the later ones (known as 5.5), there's a small bug with the sweeping. Sometimes when trying to move the sweep position, it goes the wrong way.
Hopefully that gets fixed.
