To be honest, I find 7 is quite a reasonably high rating. IGN was bad enough, so what about the rest? I wish I could read some reviews regarding the storyline and such, is it a masterpiece or crap or just "they did their best"?
As for that software, well, since I'm not a huge tech enthusiast like you all, I'm not very sure how to use it. The software I got the feeling is not something like your average stand fan where you can press 4 buttons (1 button being off and the other 3 are speed levels). If you say it works like a stand fan, I don't mind kicking it all the way to 100%. Isn't faster and more wind gives more cooling than when the computer always auto-adjust the fan speed?

if you manually set the fans you can push them farther than the drivers ever will (Nvidia drivers have never pushed my fan past 80%). the reason why i say to do it at 90% is because motors burn out a lot faster when there maxed.
sadly my laptop has locked fan controls and so only the heat sensor on the fans can regulate the speed...
to MOH, form what im told the story is ok, but the game play is noting like what they hyped it to be, its rather easy to "Run and Gun" rather than forcing you to take cover like whats seen in MOH: Air Born Assault and Battlefield Bad Company II.

Ok, I understand on the fan to keep it 90%. Although laptops have a natural fan system, but sometimes tweaking them hardware wise is more like trying to play with the processor's overclocking. So I cannot play around with them, processors are dangerous enough, but fans?
----------
I'm not sure of MoH since I don't play that franchise due to their fame for WWII eras, so I don't play it until now I'm interest. Since I remember my experience with MW2, I do remember run and gun as well as taking cover. But MoH would like to have a look thoroughly on the story, when I read the ending, it didn't go so well actually.

Ok, after I just read Gamespot's walkthrough game, apparently the game is nice to see. I've been through games with sad endings before, and that is simple, Modern Warfare 1! So it's a worthy game I should go get it, let's hope it'll be as cool as the 2 Modern Warfare games.

Nah, no thanks, my hatred to WWII is strong, so I ain't buying the idea of it, no matter how epic the game is, same case for "World At War". But still I continue to wait years for a bot spawner for DoD Source, but I got the feeling I'm no longer interested in it anymore, I got to delete the installer right out of my external hard disk.
Anyway, you know what, I'll be getting it soon, but sadly that my computer shops are far away and I won't go there until I give it at least a month or so, because pirated versions don't always come early, sometimes more advanced anti-piracy systems continue to stall the pirates, so I'll wait until it's ready. If I go too soon and what if it's not on shelf yet, I wasted car petrol and parking fees for that. Torrented versions are ok, except ThePiratebay label that game as Multiplayer only, so I'm not gonna touch that, so I'll go buy a physical DVD instead.

Well your loss...
well, the good news with MOH showing up is that theirs some great competition that's going to show up again fro top shooter between MOH/Battlefield and Call of Duty. I'm really wondering how far gaming going to progress now that there's some good competition occurring again.

It's not my loss, it's my huge hatred in such a boring series (Well, to me that is), I said it again, Nazi traps back to Berlin, Hitler commits suicide, nuke on Japan, yadda yadda yadda, I know all of these histories already. So I rather not play WWII games because they always follow the same repeating storylines, over and over and over again! Modern warfare is a lot easier because you can expand into different ways of storytelling, just like CoD MW 1 & 2, they may relate to today's modern times but the storyline approaches leads to somewhere which is not of today.
WWII has tons of facts, but I like part fact part fiction. MoH has facts too except I cannot be sure if their storyline is fictional, but who cares, I like modern warfare with modern weapons and vehicles as well. WWII stuff just ain't my type since I don't see them in use these days. The only war genre I like in the minimum is the Cold War & Vietnam War, maximum is NOT towards like 2142.

All i ever went after was how different and fun the game play is and instead you ignore that and bitch about the skin with out trying it simply because its got a WWII skin on it. (your jugging a game buy its cover rather than what it actually is)

I actually play for both, but when storyline is all repeated again and again, it just bores me. As for weapons, I rather yield modern ones that are in used today rather than outdated ones which are no longer in use. An Abrams Tank is what I need more than a Panzer, and a modern jet over old propellers planes. Like I said again, I have my taste and I'm proud of it. And besides, gamers don't earn income and gaming is not a job, the point of that one is, if I include WWII games in my interest, I'm losing a lot of time and money in the process more than I don't like the genre. Gameplay maybe fun, but I also consider on the storyline & weapons as well. If you remember why I don't 100% appreciate Left 4 Dead 2, people may still appreciate the game because of gameplay, but I still count on everything, especially I still don't like the characters. Even game sites like IGN and Gamespot also counts everything, they can't just look at the gameplay and then ignore the other stuff like graphics, storyline, weapons, etc.. So don't go insulting me about this anymore and bear with it, people got their own interest, ok?

all im just saying is this is the only WWII game that give really high props and all that your arguments were before was based on its skin. however i do really really agree that modern vehicular feel much better. (oddly i've got a thing for props and steam trains but that's where it ends)
the story line for the games fairly different but non the less it its fairly tradition WWII...
well... L4D2's game play wasn't any better than L4D1 and on top of that the mely weapons broke the game. soooo..... just form that stand point L4D2 was worse in game play than the originals, plus the original had better level design. now lets compound the parcty characters and now we have why no one wanted it! (i was apart of the petitions)
im sorry for sounding a bit bitchy but you were getting the same way with me.

Ahh, you're part of the boycott I see. Anyway, I wish I could participate too but I don't have a Steam forum account. Even if I do, I'll surely complain and know that high anticipation is always Valve's weakness, even The Sacrifice DLC is also incomplete on Left 4 Dead 2, particularly the voice actors doesn't have everything like if the L4D2 survivors would have and also No Mercy is having bugs too.
And hey, of course, people got interest and you should know not to cross with them. It's just like when I had crossed against an Apple fan and we know how does it feel to ever cross with one.

yepers, and we got testy over trivial things. *reaches out to shake hands in agreement*

Honestly, L4D1's The Sacrifice is more complete because it doesn't have so many stuff involve, particularly the voice acting. L4D1 version has no need to worry about adding survivor voices like melee weapons, jockeyed or chargered or stepped on spitter acid, etc.. Valve's high anticipation really paid off on the L4D2 versions, leaving most of the work to fans and modders to fix them. *face palms*

non the less despite the incomplete-ness of the L4D2 edition, i'm hoping that they will continue to release new maps for the two games. it makes them feel so fresh and i enjoy getting more game with out having to pay.
(so should i assume we have hard feelings considering you have said nothing on that in my last post?)
